thanks, emil, but it actually wasn’t that. i figured out that “modal image” is set to ON for every image in the demo content. thanks anyway and keep up the amazing work! this theme is incredible.
bumping this up
Hello again, Marius.
unfortunately, there’s something wrong with the blank page template. it is breaking layouts.
a page that displays correctly with the default theme setting displays broken when cloned and set to full page blank template.
example:
correct:
http://marketertalk.com/live-default-template/
broken:
http://marketertalk.com/live-full-page-blank-template
[the content inside of the tabs is no longer displaying correctly]
another example:
correct:
http://marketertalk.com/ticker-test-default-template/
broken:
http://marketertalk.com/ticker-test-full-page-blank-template/
[the ticker disappears]
any help you can provide urgently would be greatly appreciated! we are on deadline. thank you in advance!
Marius – works well, thanks! Although there seems to still be a bit of a margin on the left side and top:
i can make this work, and really appreciate it, but is there any way to get the page to be truly blank with zero formatting, so the word goes to the hard left, and also to the very top as well?
steven – thank you again for your assistance!
Thanks.
>> “The page you made, after you have to go in “Appearance” then MENU after look for the page you made and when you do choose header for that page and disable the headers for that page at the bottom of the menu settings”
Under APPEARANCE -> MENU, I was unable to find how to set a menu for only one page. I found the page we made on the left side, but was only able to select it to be included INTO a menu. Couldn’t find how to specify one page to have a different menu configuration than the others.
>> “You have to make a page just for this for it to work”
Yes, we have already created a page that we want to be blank, but disabling the menus, header and footer in theme settings as you suggested also disables them site-wide, so could you please explain in a bit more detail how your solution allows one page only to be blank while preserving menus, header and footer on the rest of the pages?
>> “i already told you how to get it done and you still saying this not work etc..”
If we misunderstand something then please clear up the confusion, because your solution as stated will not work for us in our situation.
Thanks!
Thanks again, Steven. If I understand correctly, your suggested solution would affect all pages on the site. If that’s the case then it would not work for us. We need the menu on the rest of the site. We are trying to solve the problem of how to create one blank page and not how to make the whole site blank.
Do I understand correctly or am I missing something?
Again, thanks for your assistance!
Hi Steven,
Thanks for your feedback. When I select “Homepage – Blank” I get a page which still shows menu, header and footer, so that unfortunately isn’t the solution for our needs.
We are in urgent need of a truly blank page template which is 100% BLANK. Zero showing on the page, pure white. No header, no menu, no sidebar, no footer, no post loop, nothing. Sorry to say it again and again but it has to have absolutely NOTHING whatsoever on it.
