Hi Simion! It does with both the core and child themes. Thanks!

Hi, I’ve hidden the counter with CSS because it’s displaying an inaccurate count of 0. Thanks!

Hello again Lucian,

I tried regenerating the thumbnails for the site last night, but it hung at 36.7% last night, so I’ve restarted it right now. There’s 11,907 photos to resize and some of them up to 3mb. It looks like the images within posts have been resized, but the ones on the homepage are still a large size and being resized by the browser, causing long load times. Do you think you could take a look?

Hi Lucian,

It looks like we were able to get the CDN to work! However, Newspaper is still taking a long time to load. It wasn’t an issue on the old site, but it’s causing huge load times in the new theme. What do you recommend for retroactively re-sizing all the old images to work with Newspaper? There’s still a couple hiccups with CSS and javascript causing minor issues, but our major hurdle is getting our images to load fast on Newspaper. From here on out, all uploads will be re-sized by staff with uploading to web in mind, but we need to keep the old content in the new theme. As it stands, the site will take receive a much lower search engine ranking if we launch with the pages loading so slow.

I really just need to use the CDN for the images at this point. It was working great with W3TC on my old theme.

Disabling W3TC worked, but we really need to use a CDN for the site. Is there any way to use a CDN without it breaking the theme?

Thanks Chris, to be more specific, my problem is that it seems to be shrinking the images so there are horizontal thumbs, vertical thumbs, etc. What I’d like is consistently square thumbs, so changing module/block sizes doesn’t seem like it would fix it?

Thanks!
