@schindyguy, depending on your website and banners you can set your own preferred points for ad size change. For instance, in my case I use the following settings for the addSize() property:

[1024,768]
[980,690]
[640,480]
[0,0]

@loano1, I got things working properly on our website: we are now using DFP through the theme’s panel and the size of the ads served depends on the visitor’s device. I am happy to help.

Yes @schindyguy, the link you posted is correct and the one you should follow.

Basically, as some other user have reported, the theme handles perfectly AdSense banners with responsive layouts as you can specify the size of the ad units for the different devices in the admin panel.

The same thing does not happen with DFP code. Therefore, if you want to have responsive/smart DFP banners in your site, you do not have to work with the admin panel settings but you need to hard code the instructions directly in the header of your website.

@schindyguy, I suggest you to
a) simply paste the code of DFP ad units in the ad section of the theme (header, sidebar, custom slots, etc.);
b) add the javascript of DFP in the header of the theme. You should change and customize this part of the code if you want to make ads responsive (see Catalin’s link for the complete tutorial).

Sure Catalin, everything is clear. I was just wondering if some other users had a stable and effective way to manage DFP with the theme.

The same here. Everything works fine with AdSense but as soon as you try to manage your ads with DFP things start to fall apart. The most annoying problem is that the size of the rendered ads cannot be managed properly.

Anybody found a stable solution that actually works?

Everything seems fine (it was my mistake with a custom change in a wp booster file that caused the problems).

@Chris: I always update via FTP and all the plugins are updated. Considering that there are just a few files in this last release I will double check the patch files one by one as I upload them.

Also, in the admin main menu the theme’s label is gone now…

I will give it another try and then let you know, but it seems pretty strange as I have already updated the theme multiple times. In any case, with the last update:

– no content is loaded in my homepage (created with Visual Composer);
– sidebars are not loaded in single pages;
– megamenu is not working.

Any clue?

In this situation visual composer is useless and my homepage completely unavailable.

@gfm1978, I managed to obtain the result I wanted (at least I think I have… further tests are required).
In any case, check td_category_template.php (in includes/wp_booster). You should find the function that adds inline css for the category tags.
