It’s true! I guess it has to be with customized CSS but as far as I can see (but I am far from being an expert) the class name is the same. Perhaps Bogdan or other can tell us if there is a specific class name for the category tags and post title of each separate module…?

I don’t understand. The question is about the Category Tag and your information seems to me about the Block Title. Puzzled. Care to clarify?

Hi… er… no no no, that’s definitely not the way to go. That will align the images on the left. NOT wanted.

Even if that was OK, that would mean going all through the website and change all the occurrences manually. NOT good. And I am considering this theme for another website with almost 1000 posts. Definitely not good.

Even if it doesn’t really matter – because the solution is not really a solution – the result you obtained would be also unacceptable: the right image is not top aligned with the left image

As you can see in my previous theme for this same website, there should be a right way to obtain the right result:

It’s definitely not a width issue (still do0n’t know where Bogdan got the idea that images were too wide….)

Now I am really puzzled. Your screenshots are correct and show the values I just said: width 260 px height 391 px.

So… what’s the problem? 🙂 Why would the height of the image influence the side by side positioning?

Bogdan, I am afraid you are confusing something. I am aware of the width problem, and that is NOT the problem. In my previous theme, the total available width was 600px so all images were under that.

I am not sure where you got the info of 391px width but it’s not accurate. This is the width of those images:
532px × 800px (scaled to 260px × 391px).

Sooooo good! It pretty much covers all I asked regarding this. Just one more thing: the hover in posts links doesn’t work as desired. No way to achieve this editing the CSS? Currently it underlines the link but doesn’t change the color.

What I would really love was to have ALL TEXT links in #005b88 color (dark red), and ALL HOVER in #980000 color (a tone of blue)

1) yes, I read in the previous posts that all the links are affected by the theme accent color. That goes for the hover effect. That’s kind of fine, although as you very well pointed out it becomes useless in many cases as it affects other elements. I assumed a theme would handle control over the link / hover color to the user.

2) Actually, not all hover links are affected by theme accent color. I have a WP Recent Posts element where the hover shows a different color from the theme accent color.

3) What I asked was where could I control the global all over the installation color of links, like here, in the theme from which I am trying to migrate:

4) Even if there isn’t a way to establish these global definitions through the interface, I am sure it’s possible to make it editing the CSS file…?

5) Overall I believe it’s vital to offer the user a consistent experience, where all the links look the same in terms of color. That’s what I am trying to achieve, just as I have in all my websites.

Hi, I came to the forums looking for an answer to something similar. I actually would like to use the same link color everywhere, so I can offer a consistent experience to my users. All links the same color, all hover links a another color. Any hints?
