No worries, I am fixed! For some reason when you add an author box to a sidebar in widgets you have to add the author ID. In the tagdiv page editor you do not!

I have read through your tutorials but they do not address me issue. I know how to create an assign a sidebar. The trouble I’m having is specifically with the Author Box. How strange! I have cleared cache and web browser and yet I still see it. Still, if I’m the only one it doesn’t matter. On another sidebar issue… the default bar I am trying to design to appear beside posts doesn’t show the author image or name. It just shows a blank photo and ‘Author name’. I am using the same TavDiv Author box as I put on my homepage side bar which works fine. What am I missing?

Yes, this is the area where it was switched off as default. I never turned it on, yet I still have the Smart Sidebar on my site. It is twinpickle.com if you would like to check. I have cached but if it was never on I shouldn’t have to!!
