Theme panel settings don't get saved - reply

Additional info:

The same issue occurs on the ionMag theme – the settings just don’t get saved. We have ionMag live right now and wanted to change to Newspaper theme which we realized has the same issue. We’ve tried saving the settings after deactivating ALL plugins – nothing changed. The max_input_wars is set to 2000 and memory limit is 512MB, so these shouldn’t be an issue either.

What could cause that issue? Here’s a screenshot of ionMag system status too (since we have ionMag activated right now as we don’t want to start using Newspaper theme before this issue is solved): https://gyazo.com/8a07b95fb8a7ab839065bdad5af778d2
