I use AdRotate to make groups but only use their shortcode in NewsPaper Theme Panel or on the homepage with the ad element in VC. AdSense however injects at least two ads randomly on each page. Could it be caused by having inserted the AdSense code in the header?

The cild-theme I use comes with the Newspaper bundle so that shouldn’t cause any problems, right? Also we’re already at WP 4.5.3, you’re saying Newspaper has not been tested since 4.4.3?

Tried but to no avail. I can’t even reverse it by deleting ‘&rel=0’. I have to re-upload the original td_video_support.php to do that. I just don’t understand.

You’re tip concerning td_video_support.php doesn’t work anymore. When adding ‘&rel=0’ it breaks the site. Any other way to remove the related videos from the featured video? (not embedded, that one is easy).

You’d have to go to youtube.com. See attached image.

Either that or disable ‘suggested videos’ when copying the embed code itself in YouTube. Choose ‘Share’ –> ‘Embed’ –> ‘Show more’ –> un-check ‘show suggested videos…’.

Does that also work when setting a YouTube featured video?

I guess it was some kind of glitch. Initially the theme didn’t get the columns like in your demo but when I removed and reinstalled the theme it worked fine. WordPress moves in mysterious ways sometimes 😉

Hi Bogdan,

Found out what caused it. I used a plugin called WP App Enabler which turns a homescreen bookmark into a web-app. And that’s why this occurred. Since the plugin is no longer supported I disabled it so now the bookmark just opens the site in Safari and all is well 😉

The funny thing is: I didn’t remove the links. The icons disappeared without me removing the links: the links were still there. It even progressed: at first all three icons showed (Facebook, Twitter, Mail), then only the Facebook icon showed and finally even that one disappeared.

Today they suddenly appeared again, and luckily it appears to be permanent this time 😉

The twitter icon and search icon do show from end. Mine are just completely missing.

Okay, I reinstalled the theme and the issue resolved itself.
