I guess my question is still not answered. My goal is to display the video on the post, which it does not at the moment.

Is it possible to edit the post template of the demo theme, so when the viewer click on post, it will show the video in the post.

For the 2nd question, the post is already set to “Video” format, see: https://imgur.com/V3i8bTE

But the video still not appears on the page, see https://imgur.com/IqqIPXG

I want the video to appear on the page when the format is “Video”.

Please advice.

Issue #1:
VideoNews demo theme setting

The video is on the left side of the page, but if the post itself does not contain video, then that area would be left blank. I’d like to know how to have the left side embed thumbnail when the post does not contain video but photo posts.

On the homepage, the post preview is showing the video play icon which indicates the post contains video.

But when the post is open, there’s no video embed in the post. Just the thumbnail. How can I change the post page to have video embedded in the main section?

I hope my explanation is clear enough if there’s issue. Please let me know.
