Hi, I have selected the Mobile option (in fact, it is the default setting). The error still occurs. This issue has only begun since the latest release. We have been working with ampforwp without problem until this point.

I have tried this on a test site. Disabling ampforwp works but it is disappointing as we’ve spent so much time/energy in implementing ampforwp and now must reconfigure things to work with the theme amp because of this conflict?

This is the exact same issue I am having. I was told to follow the update instructions which I did but error is still happening and I am forced to revert back to the previous version. From what I can tell it is in the AMP setting for the mobile theme which is different from the previous version.

Hi Catalin, thanks for the reply. The fix works but removes all of the subcategories. Is there a way to remove only those no longer being used rather than all of them? Thanks.

Hi Calin

This is how I have updated the theme installing (using the WordPress method). I have been using this method for updating since I purchased the theme with all kinds of updates over the years without problem. If WordPress update method is an option why do you recommend FTP? Thanks.

Hi Catalin

Using your example please see screenshot below as to what I am seeing. There are no subcategories under the “Theatre” main category on the non-mobile site. The mobile site is showing subcategories.

The two categories I have circled are not part of any menu on the site.

I hope that makes sense? Thanks for your help.

I have the same issue. When I try to delete the images they magically re-appear. What gives? Thanks.

Weird, it may not be much but on the back-end it says we have 9 subscribers. Oh well… 😉

Hi Simion, for some of us it is not an issue of theme system status. It is is an issue of browser compatibility. Chrome & IE are not working (I can confirm Chrome and from the thread it appears IE is also not working). Firefox and Opera are.

Okay, so I got it to work by changing browsers. It is not working with Chrome 🙁

Same issue here. Fortunately I was able to move successfully to the tagDiv Composer to update the theme but now I cannot update using the TD Composer 🙁
