In my opinion, it’s best to use one theme that has everything in it… installing plugins can lead to security risks, and that’s why I don’t want to use third-party plugins with Newspaper theme

I’ve been trying to solve this problem for two days, and I really don’t know what to do anymore…

unfortunately, I can’t solve the problem…

with the “Custom Post Type UI” plugin I have created a Custom Post Type called “Gewerbe” (/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=gewerbe)

in the folder “Newspaper-child” I put and renamed the files as I showed below

1. – wp-content >> themes >> Newspaper >> single.php (single-gewerbe.php)

2. – wp-content >> plugins >> td-standard-pack >> Newspaper >> parts >> single >> single_template_1.php (single-gewerbe.php and single_gewerbe.php)

3. – wp-content >> plugins >> td-composer >> legacy >> Newspaper >> taxonomy-post_format.php (taxonomy-gewerbe.php)

none of this worked and I was never able to get a page that has a sidebar…

please can you send me a file that i can use as a template for Custom Post Types pages which works properly and which can show a sidebar

maybe TagDiv should add a file to the next version of theme, or change the end of the tutorial
