We want to say a huge thank you to the developers and now we are asking for something a little bit extra support.

1. How to make a “Home page” in the format “Big Grid 1” ? ( like here: http://www.bradfordzone.co.uk/category/news/ we have tried several times using Visual Composer )
2. We tried to activate Visual Composer, but it showed that we must purchase an additional license key?
3. How to add POPULAR CATEGORY in a post? ( doesn’t show in a footer )
4. POPULAR POSTS doesn’t show in a footer?

1. I am not sure what you mean, do you want to ad posts in min menu? If so then yes, they will work fine so you can add any post there.
2. Please provide more specific detail about what you’re trying to do because I don’t understand your question.

If to say in simple words, what we are trying to do on the home page.
1. “Trending” ( News ticker nothing shows )
2. “Big Grid 1” ( doesn’t work )
3. In a footer “POPULAR POSTS” and “POPULAR CATEGORY” – we are trying to understand how it works? ( nothing shows )

1. Trending now block does not display anything because you don’t have any posts published on your site: http://screencast.com/t/Jlww78orWFq You have to publish some posts in order to have something displayed in trending now: http://screencast.com/t/rSdMwqbXgS
You can also display pages in trending now block, just add the post type in block’s settings: http://screencast.com/t/0RHexujY1DO

2. Above explanation also applies for big grid block.

3. Popular posts displays most viewed posts from entire site and Popular categories displays the categories which contain most posts.

WordPress have two types of homepage:
– blog which always displays latest articles: http://screencast.com/t/qJHnQYjA
– static page which always displays a static content. If you use Newspaper theme the static page can be set using Visual Composer plugin.
