I had an existing site using the Newspaper theme and I just added the plug-in Tag Div Composer and Deactivated Visual Composer. Then I downloaded one of the demo sites called “health & fitness”. (And I see that my old blog posts are showing up which is good).
since I am using your demo site. Do I need to totally recreate the site pages with Tag Div Composer?
And do I delete the old version of the pages?
If I need to do this then how do I do this? I am not sure where to start.
(When I edit the page using Tag Div Composer I see red bars at the top of the screen that say Invalid Page Template)

The pages will have to be recreated with the tagDiv composer from scratch. Do not edit with it pages created in Visual composer, this will lead to problems

This means that the demo templates you offer are not useful if I need to recreate the page using tag div composer.
Do you know what Block and grids and setting you used in you demo called “Health and Fitness” so that I can take a new blank page and create it to look the same.

Maybe this is a misunderstanding. The pages that need to be recreated are pages created with Visual composer. If you had any previous pages like that, these will have to be recreated.
If you installed a demo, you do not have to make any modification to the pages. Simply install the demo and customize it further or begin adding your own content if you installed it with content (logos, categories, menus etc)

But my question is isn’t what you wrote not recommended because the demo pages get removed if I decide to switch demos or uninstall the demo and could cause me a problem in the future?
Would it be better if I simply copied the code from a demo page and moved the code to a new blank page?
If yes then how do I get the code for any of the demos that I like?

When you install a demo the process will automatically import a homepage, posts, categories, theme panel settings, custom styling etc. You could install the demo without content as well, this will only apply the theme panel settings and demo stylesheet containing the design

In each demo folder you can see the homepage content for example

You could copy the content of the homepage from a demo, but you will also need to install the theme panel settings and copy the demo stylesheet in the theme stylesheet.
The dummy posts can simply be removed in bulk from the post page

On my site, some pictures are too small in the posts. What sized pictures are they using in the demo in the various blocks so that I will know how to size my pictures?

All then modules require a particular thumbnail to display. This thumbnail is created form the featured image you set for your posts

Some elements like Big grids for example, require a bigger thumbnail size. More information here about the image size the demo uses here

If you use small images, in the big modules the original image will be used.
