Hi
AMP seems to work ok with posts but when I look at pages not working?
Have setup pages as previously instructed and have assigned a normal page and its linked to an amp page.
Hi,
AMP seems to work for the pages as well, it is just that the pages have no content. The content that is displayed for pages when the mobile theme is active, will be the one entered in the mobile editor for each page https://prnt.sc/y04xe5
Each page will require content there, or it will be empty in this case.
Thank you!
There is content and it used to show but not anymore
for instance
https://superbike-news.co.uk/accessories/
As per instruction I made the amp in tagdiv below
https://superbike-news.co.uk/accessories-amp/
But no longer shows
Very page has a non amp and amp version
noone are showing up where there used too
Hello !
When switching from a view port to another one please make sure to refresh your page. W Now when I switch to your mobile view on this page: https://www.screencast.com/t/T9zVO2yU The AMP automatically loads but here is no content. You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Thank you !
Ive done all that I have created pages in mobile and were linked to non mobile pages as we were instructed they used to work but no longer.
I know the mobile editor wont render I only used my desktop to show I have created two version of a page
Again they AMP pages used to work they no longer work.
As you will see from the screen shot I sent you I have created two versions of all the pages one non AMP which is linked to AMP page. Which used to work but used stopped working.
Two months ago they were ALL tested on a iphone 11 and all the AMP pages were working fine
I disabled all plugins bar the tag div amp etc to see if there was a conflict but still
As you can see below I have setup two LINKED versions one non AMP and one AMP on ALL pages and they used to work.
As you can see below I have setup two LINKED versions one non AMP and one AMP on ALL pages and they used to work.
Hello !
I’m not sure I fully follow your issue. So you want to have this look on AMP: http://www.superbike-news.co.uk/Video/AMP.png ?
If that so you will need to remove the mobile theme plugin. At the moment you are using the mobile theme plugin which as the name says it is another theme designed only for mobile viewport and that affects what you see at the moment.
Let me know the result !
Thank you !
Yes it should look like that http://www.superbike-news.co.uk/Video/AMP.png
It looked like that a couple of months ago
It makes no difference removing the mobile theme the AMP is still not working.
I was all working fine before.

Hello,
I see the problem is about AMP pages, did you made a theme update? When the AMP pages were as like in you screenshots did you use Newspaper v10.3.9.1 with Mobile Theme + AMP ?
Using the mobile theme + AMP you must set the page content using only the mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/tza7Da7E7DfJ and this content will be displayed on the mobile theme and AMP version. (This is how is working mobile theme + AMP for pages)
Thank you!
I don’t really understand what you mean?? So your saying Ive wasted my time making pages up in AMP as they won’t work now?? whereas they used??
Pages were made before Newspaper update
As Ive said the AMP pages were working fine before.
So whey then is there still an option to make mobile page in TAGDIV
And whey dont the pages work now when they used too?
Hello,
I think that is a misunderstanding, indeed there is an option to create the mobile pages and mobile templates with tagDiv Composer, but not AMP pages.
This option allows you to create different templates and page content, but only for mobile, it does not apply/displays on AMP.
For AMP you can use mobile theme plugin and use this option => https://www.screencast.com/t/uOOZoezrSR then the mobile theme layout will apply only for AMP, and if you want to have AMP pages, not only AMP post then you need to set for pages a page content in the mobile editor (content made without builders). => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH
Thank you for your understanding!
Yes I know all that the pages have been working fine for months but mobile templates stopped working in all options mobile, mobile/amp, amp
I am looking at other options and maybe even change themes
As you were taking so long to reply and I am losing viewers and ad revenue
I disabled your AMP as have been testing other methods of AMP and other AMP themes as yours no longer works like it used too
Even in mobile the menu doesn’t work properly anymore
Hello,
I just tested on my install and works fine, the mobile menu and AMP version for me are working correctly.
Is possible to be a plugin conflict, usually is caused by cache plugin. I think you use the Litespeed cache plugin, and this doesn’t know the cache version that needs to provide.
We recommend using the WP Super Cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
