I have recently bought the theme and added only 2 posts and tested the theme on “https://gtmetrix.com/” the creating and speed is very low. Please let me know what is the issue here. I have also used the option of “remove unused style” in the theme, but still, the speed and ratings are quite low. Please help me out as if this does not work I may have to switch to another theme as I have to build 2 more websites in the future.

So, please make sure you use the latest update of the theme and plugins because it may help you for your page speed. First of all, please make sure you have a backup done and then you can update the theme and the TagDiv plugins also.

Thank you for your input regarding my issue. But my question here is that if theme support does not check the issue related to speed then why is that in the portfolio of the theme you have shown the performance optimizer with a GTmatrix rating 98%. I have used that CSS optimizer but it does not work and the performance according to GTmatrix is very low. Is this performance optimizer plugin of the theme also not covered in support?
PS: I have the latest theme version and latest WordPress setup. No third-party plugin except for “Code Syntax Block” is used. I have tested the website without that plugin as well the results are the same.

Please note that in a website pages speed usually the theme is mostly 50% of the actual factor. Content, Images, Design, Host, everything is affecting your website. There are plenty of users that run Newspaper Theme and get more than 90% page speed. As you can see here on your waterfall: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.technofusions.com/sxy5EHpo/ The page speed is firstly and mainly dragged down by the images that you have. Please optimize the images on your website and re-test. From my opinion usually the images are the biggest factor that an drag you down in page speed.
