Often it’s an issue with how you built the page, or a conflicting plugin.
Check your post you’re unable to print by testing F12 in chrome for errors. Make sure you are not running any kind of plugin which does an “overlay” on the page for tracking, or similar. No bug in theme for printing normally, unless you’d added something to interfere with that.
You may need to try disabling any oddball ad networks, any plugins for compliance or copyright, etc., to see which one is causing problem after checking F12/chrome for errors in the page render.
( I don’t work here. )
Hello,
The video does not work because it was removed due to copyright: https://www.screencast.com/t/W17akCd2F9
Thanks
Hi,
The text you enter in the copyright field for example, is not a string that can be translated by default. It is defined by you and does not have the value of a string. Maybe you should consider asking for help or guidance from WPML support. They may have a solution to translate the text you require using the plugin, and also the widget.
Thanks
thank you for replay, i want to translate like copyright text, footer widget…. to multi languages
before buy from themeforest, ny search gave that your theme is fully compatible with wpml plugin, but i see that your theme is not fully translatable to multi language, Ex. in theme panel if i choose style 4 for footer and input my info in there, the theme wouldn’t get the string for translate while no Text Domain is declared into your theme….
If i’m wrong please correct me…
thank you
Hi,
I have tried to replicate this but I have not managed this. Probably it has something to do with the content you are inserting in the copyright field or maybe you have custom code affecting the sub-footer section.
You can try this code as a quick fix for this issue – https://www.screencast.com/t/IwGRondm
It must be entered in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td-sub-footer-container
.td-sub-footer-copy {
width: auto;
}
Thanks
Thanks and sorry!
I forgot to change the source_url to copyright_url in the line
$copyright_url = $this->td_post_theme_settings['td_copyright_url'];
This section will be in the Themes Panel -> Footer -> Footer Settings
As you can see when you navigate here you can select the style of your footer, including editing the footer background, footer info content and instagram settings and also sub footer settings like copyright.
So just go to your Theme Panel -> Footer -> Footer Settings
One more question:
If there is a link in the copyright field Url, what should be the frontend?
Because the link goes through the # sign to the beginning of the article, but does not link to the entered page
I changed from the child theme to the parent theme, synonymous there the specification from the copyright field is not displayed, despite Ctrl + F5 and delete the WordPress cache
I mean the copyright-section
Thanks for your Answer.
I have now adjusted the files accordingly.
For an article (https://salzsau-panorama.de/2017/03/26/termine-fuer-bleckeder-osterfeuer-2017/) it is also displayed accordingly (the copyright field). But with two others this is not the case. Example: https://salzsau-panorama.de/2017/03/23/arbeitgeberverband-sucht-die-besten-firmen/
I can’t find the Mistake.
Have you an idea, what can be the reason?
Thanks so much Catalin, it works perfect.
I probably should have said that when you hover the mouse over “SMALL CAPS NEWSLETTER” I want the text to go from #EC8003 to white.
Also need the text to the left in the footer “Copyright © 2017 Small Caps. All rights reserved.” to stay white as well. It changed to orange with the code you gave me.
Can you please help and send me the updated code?
🙂
Hello,
You can add this code in the theme panel-> custom css code
.td-sub-footer-container .td-sub-footer-menu{
width:100%!important;
}
.menu-subfootermenu-container{
display:table;
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;
}
But please note that this will make you not be able to add a footer copyright text as the containers had to be altered for a centered position in the sub-footer. If you decide to add a footer copyright text , then you will have to remove this customization in order for it to show up properly.
Thank you!
Additionally – the editing work was done using Chrome (latest version) on a Mac – however, when I checked the link in question (which I apologize I should have done before) in Safari – it renders correctly –
The new article still is showing in Safari – on the home page as it should, but modifications to the copyright year (bottom of the page) not showing up.
ok both codes doesent work without errors in the copyright line …
so back to my first question sorry …
Hi, i use the Footer from Newspaper, i Need a custom css to Center the Content in this three boxes
http://mallorca.inselleben.es/inhalt/uploads/2017/01/Unbenannt.png
and set the logo in vertikal top
Thanks ?
Hey Renzosm,
There is a misspelling on your site. at the footer its says
“Copyright Masnoticia.com All content belongs to author – Deisgn & Hosted by r2moiton”
It should say “Copyright Masnoticia.com All content belongs to author – Design & Hosted by r2motion”
Cheers.
Hi. I followed instructions on a previous Newspaper Forum post but still have a problem. As you can see in the link below, the sub-footer text on my site is not perfectly centered – it is a little to the right of center. When I reduce the size of the screen to tablet/smartphone size, the text then is centered perfectly. I’ve tried many solutions but still cannot solve this.
Screenshot of problem: https://www.screencast.com/t/F6VkejmjczKw
Below are the instructions I followed from a previous post (deleting some code in the footer.php file and adding some CSS). I appreciate your help on this – thanks!! – Nick
Previous forum post (#104687; advice from Bogdan):
Hello,
Unfortunately this will not be so easy as the sub-footer is divided in 2 sections. 1 for the copyright and the other for the sub-footer menu. The copyright can be centered but only by altering the theme files and removing the container needed for the menu and then using css to position the copyright text.
You first need to remove this part: http://screencast.com/t/pCzg2vn8
Then use this css code in the theme panel for positioning:
.td-sub-footer-copy{
display: table;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
float: none!important;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
The picture with the camel is actually not included in the theme. None of the images you see on the official demo are included as they are payed images and we do not have distribution rights on them. The images included in the demo you download are free images that do not have copyright on them. We cannot provide the camel image as itl;s copyrighted. You can get free HD images from sites like https://eu.fotolia.com/ and https://pixabay.com/
Thank you!
What I mean is, see how the copyright line, plus additional info. “breaks” into two lines?
Thanks for any help! : )
Hello, I’m setting up a site with the newspaper theme.
The site is: http://www.elfederalonline.com/
But now, the site owner need change the domain, because the name “el federal” it’s a real newspaper in our country, so, to avoid licence issues and copyright conflicts decided migrate the site.
My question is, how works the licence of newspaper? We can download the whole site and reupload to another server? Have a new activation key or something?
Tnx a lot!

Contact the hosting server with the offending website and file a complaint if they are ‘scraping’ your content. Make sure your site itself is not copying content from other sites; make sure you have visible copyright notice and legal statement on your site (and privacy policy per U.S. law, Europe and other countries).
I just tried to lookup the IP address to determine host for that .ru site and it gives DNS error.
If the site shows up in Google, you can report it and file a DCMA complaint with Google to have it removed from search results.

You can embed shortcodes into a custom snippet of any code, like ads, etc., using the filter hooks in the AMP plugin docs to add a block of code at footer in the AMP template.
For videos, yes, we use the template with “no featured image” for the post, then put the video at top of the post box. We also do this for some book reviews where the book cover is tall and skinny and doesn’t work well for any of the featured sizes.
Or, you could create custom field for your video, then add an amp-iframe video box by inserting the shortcode at footer of the amp template.
By example to play with, which must be added to main functions.php
//Chris EXAMPLE AMP FOOTER
add_action( 'amp_post_template_footer', 'xyz_amp_add_pixel' );
function xyz_amp_add_pixel( $amp_template ) {
$post_id = $amp_template->get( 'post_id' );
?>
<div class="s2pamp02">
<p><em>My super special copyright notice goes here.</em></p>
<!--Related posts / or any compatible shortcode for plugin-->
<?php if ( function_exists( 'echo_ald_crp' ) ) echo_ald_crp(); ?>
</div>
<hr/>
<div class="s2pamp01">
<hr/>
<h2><strong>Wow it's Chris' headline!</strong></h2>
<p>You can put text here, isn't it amazing!</p>
<hr/>
</div>
<?php
}
//END

Hi,
Need some help on the following please:
1) Sidebar on the homepage pushes down the other block categories:
http://smallcaps.com.au
How can I have it be a normal looking sidebar?
And for mobile to have the sidebar load in-between the end of the content and before the footer?
Here is an image of it pushing down content leaving a big white space:
http://smallcaps.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Sidebar-pushing-content-down-on-homepage.jpg
2) How do I remove the submenu that is the same as the main menu?
http://smallcaps.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Remove-submenu-identical-to-main-menu.jpg
3) How can I reduce the gap in the footer between the social media icons/free newsletter and the copyright section?
http://smallcaps.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Reduce-gap-in-footer.jpg
There is a bit too much black space.
4) In the sidebar the “Follow us on Facebook” part of the widget shows up black. How can I make the heading text white to match the others?
http://smallcaps.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Sidebar-Facebook-text-to-be-white.jpg
Thanks in advance
Hello denny,
Please notice that if you import the demo with content, only the pictures from there are available for customers. Perhaps, you are referring to the images which are displayed to our demo preview, right? Please notice that all of these images are not available for our customers because we have copyright for all of these and it could be used only from our in this case and we cannot distribute because we are not aware doing this. Also, if you want to access this photo you can try the next link -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/lenovo.jpg
Thanks for your understanding!
