Turning Off DFP Ad Manager Ads On Some Pages - topic

I am using DFP Ad Manager on my site, for example: https://coinjournal.net/blockchain-technology-helping-fight-food-fraud/

Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/dfp-ads/

This works well for me, but I am looking to turn these ads off on certain custom post types. Is there a way to do this in the Theme panel?

Any help is much appreciated

Hi
I am not normally stumped; but this one driving me nuts.

Issue: I am making my inline images in posts 696×522 to comply with some of Google’s snippet and AMP shenanigans, but I need to make a function to set the image to the ‘large’ thumb size for site as 600×450 via some kind of rewrite; *or* append a

width:100% height:auto to the specific custom RSS feed. Supposedly one can setup a rewrite for a specific post ID to look for the img tag and then append or rewrite the code, such as remove the size or rewrite the 696×522 to 600×450 or whatever.

Using custom page method to make RSS feed with name ‘xmlcleanfcnetwork’ and page ID ‘26124’

Multisite shared header - topic

Hi

I shared the header of http://www.example.com/parent with http://www.example.com/child with switch-blog function of multisite. It means that the child site has no menu for itself and it uses the menu and header+footer of the parent site. There are some issues:
1) Mega menu ajax is not working
2) search button in mobile size is not working (I think again it relates to ajax call)
3) Sticky menu is not working
Would you please say me what is the problem and how can I solve them.

Hello Hero,

This is just an example for the lowercase letter. You should use the capitalize property. Please read and learn how you should use this setting.

Has anyone purchased AMP Newspaper Theme by AMP for WP? If yes, can the package be shared for testing purpose only? I just want to ensure that product is worth the price.

Hi,

I purchased Newspaper 8 theme, and I intend to develop the them in a local development environment on a clone of a WordPress multisite. Am I able to activate the license on the local copy of the website, and also on the live version of the site with the same activation code? I don’t want to activate it locally and then have to purchase another license, since I am producing just one production website with the license.

Hello,

I purchased the Newspaper 8 theme and i thought i was able to organize my new newswebsite myself. I work with WordPress for years now, but unfortunately im kind a stuck. To much options for my knowledge. Im super frustrated, because i bought the theme more than a week ago and i thought i was already writing happily, clearly that is not the case.

So im in need for some help here. I think the customizations i want arent that much of a deal though. I dont want big adjustmens. I want a simple and clean layout. I just need someone who is familair with the theme, it shouldnt take to much time.

This is my URL: https://www.dagonline.nl. Like i said, i want a clear and simple layout for my newswebsite. The yellow ‘Dont miss’ tab/block who is pre-installed with the demo is nice. I need more of those in different colors for different categories for example. A good example is http://www.nu.nl

block-15 problem – Need help asap - topic

Hi, I have a problem with block-15. When I added for the first time, it has the classic grey background without post thumb.
However, when I add block-15 to another section, its layout is deferent and has the posts’ thumbs.
I am comfused and I don’t know how to fix that.

PS. I also have a problem with block 9. I added the time stamp of the post before the title. But, if the title is too long, the time goes above it and breaks the layout. Is there a way to set a fixed number of characters for the titles or tell “if there is no more space, cut the title and show … “? Any hint for that?

The theme does not control the ads that are displayed. That is related to the code you use in the theme panel ad sections. Please check the Google Adsense docs for more information

There is no theme with such an archive feature as themes manage design and general look/dbase queries, not backup/archive of content or dbase, or deleting old images and content.

You might look at some options that have been around for many years to auto-expire posts, which is how most people do that for issues of system resources.

Also, you can conserve disk space by uploading your images via FTP, then loading in to the post by pasting in URL; then use a plugin to simply auto generate one ‘featured’ image and related thumbs from FIRST POST. That’s how we do it on various sites.

Hi, my web site have a lot of charts images. When an image is clicked it shows a shading at the botom.
Here is an example:

It’s very important to don’t have this shade. Is there any way to remove it?

Theme file locations for Featured Image code - topic

I’m using full Revolution Slider’s ‘Featured Slider’ addon.

Before you say ‘Contact Themepunch’– I have, and my request for TagDiv is information about the right Newspaper theme files to make the change they have suggested.

Their featured slider addon is based on filtering WP function the_thumbnail (the_post_thumbnail?) with a piece of shortcode. This doesn’t work with themes that customized featured image code, such as Newspaper.

So I need to find the featured image code in the theme files to wrap with their shortcode.

Please help me find where to do it, and I’ll take the liability of experimenting with it myself. d(^^)b

Bonus info: They recommend using their shortcode which is [featured_revslider][/featured_revslider] via do_shortcode function, ala this example “echo do_shortcode(‘[featured_revslider]'.esc_attr( get_the_title() ).'[/featured_revslider]’);

I am trying to determine how I can pull RSS feeds of the various categories we create using the Newspaper theme. For example, we cover Denver sports so I want to be able to take all of the articles that we have within the category of “Broncos” and make it an RSS feed that I can share to other sites. Hello khabarnet,

The sidebars will remain at your front end but the widgets will be inactive. You will find them at the Widgets section in an inactive mode. You should simply re-add them at the widgets. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3KJJYW8p2uAf
Please check your sidebars in the widgets area and see if there are elements present inside them. WordPress will strip the sidebars of elements if special characters or language specific characters are used in the sidebars. When you create your sidebar, please only use standard letters without symbols such as !@#$%^&amp;*()_}{L{“:>< Let us know how it goes.

Yes, I got it working with no problems. I just followed Facebook’s instructions without having to do anything extra. There were some issues with image galleries in the first day or two, but it sorted itself out. I think tagDiv slide gallery wasn’t working, but regular galleries were.

(I have since stopped using it for other reasons and am now implementing Google’s AMP).

Hello there, can you give me some pointers on how to upgrade an older version of Newspaper (4.5d) to last version (8)? I think I might have lot of issues. For example, I have a very big Database, about 380 mb and tons of images… Please someone can show me the most easy and quick way to do it?
