I’ve added a custom module using the API plugin, but I would like to use it in a single template. Is there a way to do this much like how the related posts module is called in other templates?
For example: $td_mod_single->related_posts
But I want to call the custom module I added named related_ep.

I would like that, in all category pages, the “top posts” are the posts with that category and the category=”Featured” and in the “ARTICLE DISPLAY VIEW” will show the post not “Featured”.
For example:
I have 60 posts in Category “Test”, 6 of them are also in category “Featured”.
I would like that, when I display the page category “Test” the 6 top posts are the Featured posts than the 54 posts not Featured.

Channel Id’s are not supported in the video playlist. The Video player element from Video composer does support playlist links for example. You could enter an already made video playlist from the channels you want in it

You can add AMP right now; we’ve been doing it since it was in BETA end of 2015, with TagDiv themes. Use the AMP plugin from Automattic, as it’s from the same people who make WordPress, and developed for pro clients on WP like TIME.com etc.
PWAs are primarily to serve data in separate app, which is not really part of normal ‘website’ theming. Generally you should decide if you want to serve an AMP version of the website or a PWA. But unless you have special use case, for “most” people the AMP version and a quick, clean “responsive” website, or mobile friendly sub-theme as with NP works very well.

Google will rank your site better ON MOBILE with AMP, as it provides option for mobile users with compatible devices (but not all) to see different version of site streamlined for the mobile environment. It doesn’t get seen by desktop users and the viewer must be using AMP compatible device/browser.
Responsive works with everything. Mobile sub theme works with all mobile browsers (aside perhaps from some micro browsers).
A PWA — in theory — can give you a multi-level platform to serve a mobile app outside of browser, then fall back to AMP, then to mobile sub theme, then main responsive theme.
Presumably this will take some planning and research to implement.
But you can get AMP setup in an hour. So, I’d start there 🙂

If TagDiv Composer is the “future” (of what you’ll be supporting), we may want to wait to deactivate it. That is, until you work out the kinks with how TagDiv Composer will treat existing “Pages” created originally using Visual Composer.
Before we make that call, we have a few questions/suggestions that TagDiv / Envato may find useful during this transition:
1) Will you be working on eliminating the automatic height restriction (200 pixels) on “Featured Image” for Pages imposed by TagDiv Composer?
(Yes, we could individually change over 1,000 existing Pages created in Visual Composer – 1 at a time — but that would necessitate a lot of time, money & effort from us…vs. a global change on TagDiv side that probably make common sense.)
2) Will TagDiv Composer eventually allow us to maintain the widgetized sidebars we’ve already placed on our “Pages” using Visual Composer – anytime soon.
(For now, it looks like TagDiv Composer has knocked out our “Page” widgetized sidebars & any revenue-producing banners contained therein.
These are important questions for us to understand b/c:
1) We’ve created over 1,000 “Pages” using Visual Composer defaults.
2) We’ve placed revenue-producing banners within those widgetized sidebars.
(i.e. If TagDiv eliminates pre-existing sidebars & banners long term, we lose revenue.)
I’m guessing since a good # of your Newspaper Theme customers might have created a lot of pages already using Visual Composer, we are not alone with our current dilemma.

Hi. I have updated to Newspaper 8. I have Visual Composer and TD Composer installed. I have cloned a page and started editing it with TD Composer in draft mode. However, I can not find all the blocks I used in Visual Composer, for example the icon button (eye catching icon from libraries). So with TD composer I can not build the page exactly the same as I had it. Am I wrong?

That is not possible unfortunately. Placing that block on a 1/3 layout changes the module used. Block 16 will display like this

I am sure that you can find a different block and layout combination to create your page. There are 25 predefined blocks that you can try in different row settings.

I already have a plugin to add multiple authors to a post, but now I wanna make them visible. For example: this post (http://raquetc.com/2017/06/14/diogo-rocha-esteve-perto-da-segunda-ronda-do-challenger-madrid/) belongs to two articles in the backoffice, but only one is showed in the post.
