I’ve noticed on the Apple iPad Air 2 – the Mobile menu doesn’t re-size.
If I have a main menu, then a sub-menu – the sub-menu goes behind the re sizable page size for the ipad, so it does not fall into place naturally; being responsive.
Can you please advise how I make the Menu Fully Responsive & Mobile compatible?

Lovin the theme more and more as improvements are made. the last 7.2 update made some nice improvements!
When you view the big grid on desktop looks great, when you view the big grid on a mobile device the featured images on the smaller boxes do not display full width and the grid incorporates a horizontal scroll bar so you can swipe to the other featured posts in the grid. I understand why it might have been designed this way but personally not liking the way it transforms when in mobile.
Is there a way to get the Big Grid, when viewed in mobile, to display those featured articles individually/sequentially one after the other with full width image/text/date/etc?
example: the 4 image grid has 1 large, 1 med and 2 small featured images/articles. Is there any way to get all 4 featured images/articles to display the way the first/largest featured image appears when viewing in mobile?

I am trying to reduce the number of various thumbnails and you have a nice options to disable some sizes. However for me, as an end user – I have no idea what sizes / blocks are used on my website. Is there any kind of “detector” to tell me what blocks are activated? Otherwise it is impossible to find out without hours spend on documentation…

Thanks for building nice theme but I have thumbs issue with it. We create and upload feature image of size 700 x 366 because we have to share post on facebook page to generate traffic and 700 x 366 is suitable for us.
Is there any way to disable image cropping so that all blocks & module use 700 x 366 size or any code to show whole image 700 x 366.

I am trying to figure out why on IPAD, pictures in articles are missing. I am seeing all the pictures as normal on a PC, however if I use both Safari or Chrome on IPAD it is not showing pictures. IPAD is showing only the featured image but not the other images in the articles. Here is an example:

Any idea what is causing this. I disabled all plugins except visual composer and cleared cache and it still did not work?

Am maintaining a newsportal for my client. We have already purchased the newspaper theme and used it with our “.com” domain and the site is live ( English and local language content ). We were looking for google AdSense account but google rejected us due to language compatibility issue.
We are planning to set up another site on the same server using the “.net” version of the same domain and move the english news there and reapply for google adsense account. Considering this business scenario, do we need to buy another license of the theme ? Since we dont have good ads, the site is not making enough revenue to cover up the operational cost.
I have another license for newspaper theme but it has been used on a separate business.
Please suggest.

For your second request, if you want to add some images to your header area, you will have to use the background-image attribute. Please try to use the below example for your website.

We ended up switching our default template out as we noted above that 2 article templaes (those without large feature images) work fine. Check this link, using the video feature template for an example of one still not working:

I traced through the JS and ‘click’ events last night and it seems that a check in td_site.js prevents the link action due to the CSS tag on the page in question:
if(jQuery(target).hasClass('td-content-wrap')) {
IF this is removed temporarily, those clicks work but of course then allow clicks to function anywhere on the page which is not what we want.

I’m trying to create a custom search page with search results are limited to a category and divided into two groups based on relevance. However, I noticed the theme’s search function doesn’t work property when a category is defined. I tried using site/category-page-name/?=search and site/?search&category_name=category-name. Both returned the same incorrect (incomplete) results. I discovered that by running a WP_Query(array(‘s’ => $search_query ,’category_name’ => $category-name)) myself, and the result was correct.
Just wondering if there’s anything in your code that adds extra parameters to the search that leads to this incorrect search results?
Hi there, I would like to do the same as the above, that is using Header Style 9 I would like to change the text size & font.
I am an absolute newbie to this and so I am unsure re Custom CSS.
I assume that I go into the theme panel, click on Custom CSS whereby a blank box will appear and then I include the code as described above or alter the font family and size as needed??
Is that all I need to do or am I missing something, so far I have not had to do any code work and I do not want to mess things up as I have nearly finished building the site??

Seems this is limited to all templates with the large feature image. On those pages, although the td_site.js loads, the event listener seems dead and clicking the ‘background’ portions of the screen don’t fire what looks to be the BG ad onclick handler:
//click only on BACKGROUND, for devices that don’t have touch (ex: phone, tablets)
if(!td_detect.is_touch_device && td_ad_background_click_link != ”) {

A site I run the Newspaper Theme on is running a background-ad over the weekend. I’ve set up the background image and the URL, but they’ve asked me to add an Impressions tag as well.
They’ve provided this in three ways; firstly as an tag, which I’m assuming I can’t use because we need to add the image URL through the theme panel, secondly as an iFrame code which I’m assuming again I can’t use because there isn’t an iframe being used, and thirdly as a javascript code.
The Javascript code looks like this (I’ve removed part of the URL):

In the Newspaper Theme Panel there is an area for custom JS but it says the opening and closing <script> tags need to be removed. I wasn’t sure how to do that with this code, as the impressions bit is within the opening tag.
Are you able to let me know how I can use this code with a background image?

¿How it works the style 4 for the logo?
I want to point out that I’ve tried on both environment (local & real) into a fresh install only with VC plugin installed.
The logo retina is not resized when I use “style 4” for the footer appearance.
I use 168×145 (px) for normal logo and 336×290 (px) for retina.
- if I upload both logos, on the front end, allways appear the big one with his real dimensions 336×290 instead of 168×145
Any advice?

Actually, this is not about a URL. It’s about registration/confirmation.
