Hi,
whenever I upload a new post thumbnail, it is cropped to all required formats, but always aligned to the top, not centered. It means that when the picture is a portrait of someone, I’ll only have the upper part of the picture, instead of having the center. Usually, centered crop is default on WordPress, but doesn’t seem to be working here. When I regenerate thumbnails with the plugin “Image Regenerate & Select Crop Settings”, it’s working again, but I can’t do it each time I publish a new post.

Is there way to generate featured thumbnails for a post from a url. For example say i post a url from imgur.com, when i go to my homes page it will show a grey box as the post. Can i get a plugin or add code to have a featured thumbnail automatically added? Like how reddit does it when you add a link to their website there is a feature image automatically made.
Hi, I’m not seeing a solution to this and I’ve been reading through the forum (promise)! When using featured video and YouTube I need to stop these random related videos from showing in my blog like many others have stated. I’ve modified the code in the YouTube settings but since this isn’t embedded, it doesn’t appear to work. Neither does adding the rel=0 code to the link. Is there a work around that I’m missing to stop the irrelevant YouTube videos from appearing at the end of the featured video? Thanks.

OK, I got the header ad working on desktop by uploading your theme to another installation and then importing the sample data and pulling it from the theme panel
HERE IT IS

I want to ask about chinese letters alphabet or hanyu pinyin.
For example:
Chinese letter – 你好所我让你看不清楚
Hanyu Pinyin – nǐ shuō wǒ ràng nǐ kàn bù qīngchu
You see in the “Hanyu Pinyin” there are tone marks in each vocals.
When i add new post, in the “visual” tab the tone marks were displayed incorrectly

Please take a look over the below explanation and try to understand a bit how it work the thumbs in the theme. Please check here ->>
Our theme uses the system of cropping from center to top. The theme uses thumbs to reduce the page size and speed up page loading time. From each image uploaded are generated thumbs for each thumb size used by the theme. Basically, when a post it’s displayed on the page in a block, the featured image displayed is not the one which you uploaded in the media file, it’s a thumb cropped from the original image at the precise dimension. To change the picture orientation most likely you will need a different cropping system. We use a WordPress function – add_image_size() – you can read about it here – https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_image_size – and here – http://www.davidtan.org/wordpress-hard-crop-vs-soft-crop-difference-comparison-example/
Our theme crop (cut) thumbnails in some cases to avoid creating a lot of thumbnails in order to reduce to load more spaces on the server.
If you don’t have the possibility to upload large images you could use a combination of plugins to upscale the thumbs – Thumbnail Upscale and Force Regenerate. For more information about these kinds of plugins, please consult their documentation here -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-upscale/ -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ Also, please ensure that the functionalities of these plugins are not affected by the other untested plugins that could create interference through the theme. Please notice that these types of plugins are not tested with our theme and we cannot provide support for the theme. We recommend them because a lot of our customer uses and they were satisfied to their functionality.
If you want to implement another cropping system for your theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! Usually, we recommend developers from studio.envato.com.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option, sorry! In a future update, it is possible but we cannot say for sure if it will get done in the next update because we have a big list of fixes, improvements, and suggestions to implement. It’s hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed. The developers decide if it gets done or not, though. Until we can do it, you can use a plugin. Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. This should rule out a plugin conflict that could interfere with the count. If this does not do it, please provide an example of such a post that does not increment it’s count.

I think you misunderstood how the full logo headers work. This is your logo:

The logo will NOT stretch. It will display the full size of the logo but it will not stretch/enlarge it.
It will display it full size meaning it will not be shrunk to fit the containers. If you want a big logo, you will have to create it in an image editor. Stretching an image beyond it’s natural size is a bad idea as it will lose a lot of it’s quality. Here’s an example so you can see what I mean: http://screencast.com/t/pS3CPA7BcHT

I have tried External Thumbnail, Nelio External Featured Image, and RB External Thumbnail. I currently have RB External Thumbnail activated, and am able to set the thumbnail, but it doesn’t get passed to Newspaper thumbnail, for example here. http://thekineticist.com/category/blog/

I am in trouble right now, because I dont know how to change the filename of my edited images. Here is my problem with details: When I upload an image and I edited on WordPress (for example I cut it) this images saves with the same filename + “e and some numbers” Here is an example of this: Filename: Cardio-entrenamiento-1.jpg Filename Edited: Cardio-entrenamiento-1-e1460468939930.jpg. How can I modify this? I want to overwrite the file with the new edited file using the same name.

Hi,
Our theme does not support dynamic ads. The header and sidebar ads cannot be changed based on the post content, but an ad that is included with the post content can be added from the post editor itself. for example:

If you want to change the header and sidebar ads based on the post content, then you can maybe find a plugin that does that as there is no solution for it with the theme settings.
