Thanks! That didn’t do it — but I think I figured out what was blocking it, and now I’ve fixed it! In Theme Panel I had the “Body” font set to Merriweather so it was overriding the custom CSS. I set it instead to “default font” and now the button is using that custom CSS to make the button text Monserrat.

on theme panel under ads, it just gets stuck on the saving box animation…
tried several times but never gets saved. when i deleted the demo image code for an ad, it saved almost instantly. but when putting the adsense code, it just hangs.
any known conflicts? probably with some other plugins?

Hi, I am having an issue with the Media Grid, Masonary Grid and Image Gallery. I thought is was due to an older version of visual composer. Since, I have updated visual composer via theme forest to the latest version 5.1.
Cleared all cache and tested new pages, tweaked settings, but still the images will not display. Singular images display, images in blocks display, WP gallery displays.
It just seems to be Media Grid, Masonry and Image gallery.

Hi, I’m looking to create a main menu drop down composed of certain tag IDs so that when the link is clicked, it does to the specified page and automatically selects the Ajax filter. Is that possible?
As an example, the main menu category is “Guides”, and there are subcategories (sorted by tag IDs on in the Block settings) such as Category 1, Category 2, and so on. I want to be able to hover over the main menu item, click Category 1, and then have it go to the Guides page and automatically activate the Category 1 Ajax filter in the block on the page.
It’s essentially an href link from the main menu to a page’s block filter from a tag ID.
I just have no idea how to do it. Is it possible?

How do I remove the title and box around the title of a widget? I know that I can use a ! in front of a title and use the plugin that will remove the title but it still leaves behind the border. This is for a widget for categories. The area of concern is in the red circle below.
So, If I try to use “td_block_template_2” css class by specifying to “Extra class” block option, it will not be applied because “td_block_template_2” use “td-block-title”. I think it’s weird though.

1. I am not sure I fully understand what you mean. Here you can see all the available blocks in the theme – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-15/ in different layout settings. If the mobile theme is not used, the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile. This is how block 15 looks on 1 column – https://www.screencast.com/t/wRyjnCqm – https://www.screencast.com/t/Qa1JZkKqg and on 2 columns – https://www.screencast.com/t/lmZuafZx – https://www.screencast.com/t/vAhlmqIF This is how the blocks are designed and how the theme responsiveness works, depending on the page structure in Visual composer. It would not be an easy task to change how the blocks are displayed, and multiple elements have to be taken in account.

Please note that you are changing the default block quote font, not the other block quotes as well. Our theme has multiple block quote styles and you are probably looking at one of them and not the default block quote.

You do not have to install a demo if you do not want to. It is not mandatory. You can create your own page in visual composer and set it as a home page. You can play around in the page builder a bit and get a feel for it. There are lots of neat options you can use to show posts and filter the results. This will not affect the proper functionality of the theme as the block template applies to all blocks at once.
The first block template td_block_template_1.php was the old one created a long time ago and in the previous updates we added the other block templates which got new classes. We did not change the classes for the first block template though as it does not result in any change on the front-end but it will not break people’s customization. We prefer to add to our theme rather than change existing code (as much as possible) as this causes lots of people to loose their custom code that was created on the existing theme classes.

I have attempted to make changes to the blockquote settings under Newspaper – theme panel – Theme fonts – post content – default block quote. When I change the font size, I don’t see it reflected in a post I created.
It appears the settings are not being saved (even though I am sure I saved them).
Have you seen this problem. I was hoping not to have to use CSS.
