Hi,

Using Homepage blank you can use a block to display articles from a specific category, but numeric pagination won’t work on blocks, only Next/Prev, Load more, Infinite load pagination work on them.
The only way to have a similar look like category template on a static page is to use Homepage with articles list template(you don’t have to use pagebuilder), like already Marius suggested, set the category and the module to display articles.

Only tagdiv blocks have an option to set header color, unfortunately wordpress default widgets don’t have a similar option, but we have an option in Theme Panel > Theme Colors to set a general color for all blocks/widgetstitles – http://screencast.com/t/PUo9oX2EBA5 – http://screencast.com/t/4JSLNzJXt

Hi,

The speed booster plugin is optional that moves the css and js at the end of the page, this removes render blocking and improves the score on pagespeed. But also to have a good score is recommend to use less plugins.
Many plugins do not respect the google pagespeed recommendations of punting javascript at the end of the page and they just try to use jQuery in the middle of the page. This slows the site down and it also enforces the requirement that jQuery has to be in the header instead of the footer how Google recommends(this is the developer explanation).
We will try to improve this in future, but we don’t have a better solution for the moment.

Yes it does:
– speedbooster moves the css and js at the end of the page, this removes render blocking and improves the score on pagespeed;
– the cache plugin creates a copy of each post/page and delivers it from the memory;
– the cdn makes a copy for each image, css and other heavy resources and delivers them from high speed servers which are geographically closer to the site visitor area. The servers are spread around the world, this improves the page load speed.

If you use smaller featured image than the size of the thumb, please note that WordPress doesn’t enlarge images and you will need to use plugin like Thumbnail Upscale to enlarge thumbnails: https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-upscale/ For upscale use a combination of plugins Thumbnail Upscale + Force Regenerate.

Unfortunately there is not option to enable/disable meta info for specific element, the theme has a general option for this in Theme Panel > Post Settings(it will apply on posts,blocks, modules) – http://screencast.com/t/JpTxbT0aIg

If you don’t want meta info and category tag on block 13 where is used module 14(it is used also on block 20) you can use this custom css to hide them: http://screencast.com/t/DBzrRsjlHBmV

If you want to do this for module 14, so it will be applied where this module is used(loop, block13/20) just change .td_block_13 class with .td_module_14
