Hi,
Infinite scrolling seems to work now, despite those errors. Since there are no such errors in a default theme install, something is creating them in your case.
– Deactivate all your plugins, leave only theme plugins active. If you have a cache plugin clear the cache and deactivate that as well.
– Temporarily remove all the code you entered in the theme panel (custom code, ads etc), theme files or child theme.
This should solve the problem. If it does, begin reactivating plugins and reading code, while checking for the errors.
Thanks
Hi,
@Chris There is a theme panel section now that will output the code in the footer, before the HTML body tag
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gaO5riWZo
I believe that is where the code needs to be loaded. Check the page source after adding it, it should appear in the footer, above the closing body tag.
Or manually add it in the file shown above in the main theme file, or in a child theme so you don’t loose it after an update. Either way would load the code. Inspect the page with the browser inspector, see if the Amazon section is there, maybe it is a CSS issue of some kind.
I don’t think it’s possible to do this with a child theme, it doesn’t work for me anyhow.

Hi,
The admin bar could be disabled with a code, for all users or per user role, check in the theme or child theme functions file for such a code
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-disable-wordpress-admin-bar-for-all-users-except-administrators/
Also each user can deactivate if he choose to – https://www.screencast.com/t/bnZJso0I
Check those and see what you find.
Thanks
Hi,
Regardless of form of pagination, the block will always use the same module type. In your case the initially loaded modules are with problem, not the ones that are loaded with the load more button.
Block 5 looks like this – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-5/
I see there is a problem with the thumbnails used for the first 10 modules in that block, please regenerate them and check if the problem is solved
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Also I see you are using some CSS in the child theme I believe to set a minimum height of 324px to a thumbnail that by default is 235px in height (module 3)
That would not a proper way to do it. Maybe try and use blocks which have a thumbnail size that works best for you, instead of that

Hi Linda,
I made the size 2698 x 552 as per this link – https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Childhood-Life-Logo-Background-2698-x-552.jpg
Be sure to set the image dimensions when you select it from the media library. If you don’t the resolution can give you unexpected results!
I placed the CSS code in the Theme Panel > CSS module NOT the Live CSS module. Hope that helps.
If you have any other questions fire away!

I am trying to change the hover colour of oneof the main menu items.
(The site is currently in development but can be viewed with login and password as “guest” @ https://bit.ly/2NAz0Fs
Usually when I hover over any of the main menu items they all have the same coloured underline displayed.
News Forums Buying Guide Device Specifications G’day, guest guest!
I am wanting to have a different colour hover for just one of the menu titles. An example would be “News” having a green underline.
The CSS used for the menu hover is as follows:
.td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > .current-menu-item > a, .td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > .current-menu-ancestor > a, .td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > .current-category-ancestor > a, .td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > li > a:hover, .td-header-wrap .black-menu .sf-menu > .sfHover > a, .td-header-style-12 .td-header-menu-wrap-full, .sf-menu > .current-menu-item > a::after, .sf-menu > .current-menu-ancestor > a::after, .sf-menu > .current-category-ancestor > a::after, .sf-menu > li:hover > a::after, .sf-menu > .sfHover > a::after, .td-header-style-12 .td-affix, .header-search-wrap .td-drop-down-search::after, .header-search-wrap .td-drop-down-search .btn:hover, input[type=submit]:hover, .td-read-more a, .td-post-category:hover, .td-grid-style-1.td-hover-1 .td-big-grid-post:hover .td-post-category, .td-grid-style-5.td-hover-1 .td-big-grid-post:hover .td-post-category, .td_top_authors .td-active .td-author-post-count, .td_top_authors .td-active .td-author-comments-count, .td_top_authors .td_mod_wrap:hover .td-author-post-count, .td_top_authors .td_mod_wrap:hover .td-author-comments-count, .td-404-sub-sub-title a:hover, .td-search-form-widget .wpb_button:hover, .td-rating-bar-wrap div, .td_category_template_3 .td-current-sub-category, .dropcap, .td_wrapper_video_playlist .td_video_controls_playlist_wrapper, .wpb_default, .wpb_default:hover, .td-left-smart-list:hover, .td-right-smart-list:hover, .woocommerce-checkout .woocommerce input.button:hover, .woocommerce-page .woocommerce a.button:hover, .woocommerce-account div.woocommerce .button:hover, #bbpress-forums button:hover, .bbp_widget_login .button:hover, .td-footer-wrapper .td-post-category, .td-footer-wrapper .widget_product_search input[type='submit']:hover, .woocommerce .product a.button:hover, .woocommerce .product #respond input#submit:hover, .woocommerce .checkout input#place_order:hover, .woocommerce .woocommerce.widget .button:hover, .single-product .product .summary .cart .button:hover, .woocommerce-cart .woocommerce table.cart .button:hover, .woocommerce-cart .woocommerce .shipping-calculator-form .button:hover, .td-next-prev-wrap a:hover, .td-load-more-wrap a:hover, .td-post-small-box a:hover, .page-nav .current, :first-child.page-nav > div, .td_category_template_8 .td-category-header .td-category a.td-current-sub-category, .td_category_template_4 .td-category-siblings .td-category a:hover, #bbpress-forums .bbp-pagination .current, #bbpress-forums #bbp-single-user-details #bbp-user-navigation li.current a, .td-theme-slider:hover .slide-meta-cat a, a.vc_btn-black:hover, .td-trending-now-wrapper:hover .td-trending-now-title, .td-scroll-up, .td-smart-list-button:hover, .td-weather-information::before, .td-weather-week::before, .td_block_exchange .td-exchange-header::before, .td_block_big_grid_9.td-grid-style-1 .td-post-category, .td_block_big_grid_9.td-grid-style-5 .td-post-category, .td-grid-style-6.td-hover-1 .td-module-thumb::after, .td-pulldown-syle-2 .td-subcat-dropdown ul::after, .td_block_template_9 .td-block-title::after, .td_block_template_15 .td-block-title::before, div.wpforms-container .wpforms-form div.wpforms-submit-container button[type=submit] {

}
Obviously changing the background here would change all the menu items, my goal is to change just a single menu item’s hover colour.
Also, the li class of the “News” item also has a unique reference, which I feel may be useful when changing to the its background hover.
menu-item menu-item-type-taxonomy menu-item-object-category menu-item-first td-menu-item td-mega-menu menu-item-6 news`
I could use either menu-item-6 or news? I’ve tried to come up with a solution myself but can’t quite get it working.
Thanks in advance!!

I had to activate the child theme too. Didn’t knew that too.
Never dealt with them before hand.
Thank’s for the help!
What template is used after a user clicks the “Load More” button in a TD Composer Block?? I am using Block 5 on a page and have customized its corresponding td_module_3.php in a child theme with some conditional logic. However, the “load more” pagination uses a different block/module.
Can anyone point me to where these other templates are located within the theme?
Hi,
Probably just a cache or CDN issue. Clear all if you did not already, as well as browser cache. Also if you have a child theme deactivate it as a quick test. Maybe you modified theme files in the child theme, and those are causing the problem with the new theme version.
Thanks
But that is where the primary category can be set only, in the post edit screen
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nDtaAtj8uN
Then leave the sidebar setting on default – https://www.screencast.com/t/wWpRGBzllOn
Set a sidebar for the category chosen as primary in the Theme panel->per category settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2ImncejhJ
That would be all that has to be done to ensure that multiple posts that share the same primary category, have the same sidebar.
If you have already tried it like this and it is not working, then there is a problem. Deactivate all plugins except theme plugins as a quick test. If you made any modifications to the theme code files or added code in them, remove them and check. If you use a child theme, deactivate it and check again.
I tested on my end with the latest version of the theme, theme plugins and tested plugins active. Let me know what you find.
Hello tocanitadejocuri,
Before your customization, you should check the following useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thanks.
I think the issue is that it’s trying to reference the font CSS in the Child Theme.
I get an error in the console.
GET http://theme.test/wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/font-newspaper.css 404 (Not Found)
Got it. So i should use child theme so future updates won’t override the modifications for more fonts?
Hi,
You could try some suggestions from these topics
– https://wordpress.org/support/topic/sitemap-error-error-on-line-2-at-column-6-xml-declaration-allowed-only-at-the/
– https://kb.yoast.com/kb/xml-sitemap-error/
– https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/error-on-line-3-at-column-6-xml-declaration-allowed-only-at-the-start-of-the-document-below-is-a-re
They mention empty spaces in the wp-config.php or functions.php file (theme and child theme if used) check that.
For me there is no problem, default theme and plugins, and latest Yoast plugin
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nrIAfkhb
Hello,
The logo is there but seems to get hidden with a css as it appears for a brief second.
Please check your custom css or plugins.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
By the way, your Live Search is perfect on your demo theme. But it works very slow on my website. Maybe it is because of the server. Anyway. Thanks for your help. I will try your suggestion. Can I disable it with Child Theme? I don’t want to do it everytime the theme is updated. Thanks again!
can i use a filter function in child theme function.php?
Hi,
Not all the block modules have a read more button, there is a list of them in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/remove-category-label-on-big-grid-slider/
The button is displayed automatically, the excerpt text can be customized as you want. So you could use blocks from that list. Or modify the module codes and add the button
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/adding-read-more-to-block-4/
Module files can be modified in the child theme as well.
Thanks
Hello Kjray,
I’m sorry but please notice that’s no bug in the theme, regarding on this case. Do you have tried to switch the theme to the main theme? YOur child theme contains some codes which hide the header Ad on the homepage. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/a5w1YTzebM3
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Unfortunately not all files will work from the child theme. there will be some files like the td-config which will only work from the main theme
For a complete child thee files guide, please use this link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Alternatively, it can be a code affecting the page itself. If you used shortcodes from other page builders or from plugins, they could break the layout. Please test the tagdiv composer on a brand new page and see if it also provides the same error there. If it happens just on one page, you will have to re-create it from scratch unfortunately.
Thank you!
Just purchased and installed the theme, child theme, and plugins. When doing a live preview I get the following:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 117964800) (tried to allocate 87 bytes) in …wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_util.php on line 1383
1. Дочерняя тема уже включена в архив.
A sample child theme is available in the /code/ folder in the package that you downloaded from Themeforest.
