Hi,

Hiding it with CSS would not be recommended, this is a violation of Adsense terms. For non-multi purpose header styles there would be a way for a long term solution, by setting a condition in the header in a child theme. But the multi-purpose header styles files are in the composer plugin.

One way would be to use a cloud library 404 template, there are some designed by us, but you could design your own – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/404
Then in that 404 template create a new header (with header builder elements) or import one
http://prntscr.com/n4j5q7
That header will then only be used in the 404 pages. So this would be a solution.

Thanks

Hi,

Usually this happen when are problems with server, host or the requirements are not well set.
In order to have the multipurpose header you need to have the tagDiv Composer activate
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/sC8dyaEDS2Fk
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/OEEzu908
Also there are some feature that you can access theme if you activate the tagDiv Cloud Library

Thank you!

Hi,

There are two ways you could do this.

You can import just the homepage if you want to, without installing the actual demo. The homepage of that demo is available in the cloud library
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
This is the page – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/homepage-fast-news/
Then you can set this page as homepage in WordPress – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Also import the cloud post template used by the demo – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/dell-will-invest-125-billion-in-chinas-tech-in-the-next-5-years/

Or you can install the demo with content – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ which will import all of the above, also the header customization, the stylesheet and different theme panel settings which will replace your current settings.

Regardless of what you choose the posts that you have created will not be affected. All the post are kept in the website database. If you want to keep them safe make periodic database backups, this is even recommended in general.

Let me know if you need help or you have more questions.
Thanks

I am trying to get into the cloud library but get the “Invalid reply from server endpoint.” error. What can I do to fix this?

I don’t quite know what this presumes, with the tagDiv composer you can build pages, it has a few multipurpose elements that you can use for a landing page
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/buttons/
Also check out some cloud library page examples, sections and other elements
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/All
This would be all I can think of in the matter. Maybe you need more advanced landing page capabilities, that could only be achieved with plugins.

Hi,

If you like a demo you can install theme without content, please check our documentation -> Installing Demos – Installing Demos
Also if you want only the homepage layout you can get this from tagDiv Cloud Library or you can create one -> How to Create Beautiful Homepages with Newspaper Theme – https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-homepages-with-newspaper-theme/
Also the post should work properly if you have used only the WordPress editor, but the pages in most cases will need to be recreated.

But first will be recommended to make a full backup to your website and database.

Hi,

Unfortunately this is the only way to do it for pages ( if you force with css the blocks will break ).
For article/post and category you can use some template from TagDiv Cloud Library stretch the template and apply that single post template on post ( global in the panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Ni3iAlcwjf7 ) and all post/article or category which will have that template set will be stretch.

If you stretch the content you need to use flex blocks or full blocks, only those will stretch to full with that you set.

Thank you!

Hi,

That option is available if you use the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugin. While editing a cloud post template in the composer the option is here

Hi, I updated the theme, but when I activate tagDiv Cloud Library and Events Schedule – WordPress Events Calendar plugin (codecanyon plugin), post content is reapeated under post section if I use custom post template. This happens since you add auto Loading feature.
Do you know the reason why?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Unfortunately for the moment this option is available only with tagDiv Cloud Library, if you want to add this on default template you can check some topics from this forum:
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/headshot-next-to-byline/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/small-author-image-just-before-the-author-name-after-the-title-of-the-post/

That would be unusual, in the latest theme version there are a total of 628 cloud library elements. If you want us to take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Please include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.

Hi,

Unfortunately the Infinite Loading is available only with tagDiv Cloud Library, if you want to make some changes in theme files to achieve this on default post templates you need to do this your self or consider to hire a developer, this is custom work and we do not have a team for this, so we can not provide custom work.

If you want to check the files for Infinite Loading from cloud you can check those files
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/panel/tdc_post_settings.php
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/foJkRhNp
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/templates/frontend.tpl.php -> https://www.screencast.com/t/PeZ1GtTii

Hi,

That would be like a landing page if I’m not mistaken. The tagDiv composer has multi-purpose elements, so you can create a landing page with it – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-8-5-update-what-s-new/
The cloud library plugin will add even more elements in the composer list, when active. Be sure to check the cloud pages and sections, maybe you find something you like there
http://prntscr.com/n40a7l

If you don’t use the tagDiv composer, maybe some other users can suggest some plugins for this, I haven’t tried any unfortunately. Or search for some online guides and try the suggested plugins.

Thanks

Hi,

The easiest way will be to use TagDiv Cloud Library -> https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/
Check out the New Header Main Menu with Newspaper Theme ->https://tagdiv.com/header-main-menu-newspaper-theme/
If you do please change the default limit of 4 sub-categories in the mega-menu settings
http://prntscr.com/mx7i6k
This would explain why the other sub-categories are not shown. Also be sure that the sub-categories have posts in them.

If you are not using tagDiv Cloud Library, then you need to make some manually change in a file, please go in your site host open wp-content > theme> includes> shortcodes and open td_config.php wit an editor ( notepad++) go at 7760 line and increase the “show_child_cat” ( https://www.screencast.com/t/eI6xS9X5SF5 ), by default it set to show only 30 categories , after that save the change on the file and refresh your web page.

Also you can check this topic abut adjust the number of posts in mega menu -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/adjust-the-number-of-posts-in-megamenu/

Thank you.

Hi,

After you make the update please check if theme plugins are active, usually tagDiv Composer will activate automatic but it needs to be checked, also if you are using cloud template update the tagDiv cloud library and activate it.

If there is still a problem, please provide some screenshots with the settings you are made for this.

Hi,

Please notice that Editor Picks is just a simple Block 7 which is set up to display the first three posts from Featured category, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/JtEOAAPIQC This element is part of our default footer templates. So, if you want to change this category, you need to edit the theme core files where this element is created and modify it from the code. I have another alternative for you which is more simple than the first. You can use a footer page for your Footer section and create your footer layout, using the TD Composer. You can add a block 7 element and sort it by what kind of category you want. Also, if you will use the Cloud Template Library, you can load a Footer Template and edit it with TD Composer as you wish. You can take a closer look at our pre-made Footer Template from here -> https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Footers to make an idea. More information about TD Composer and our Cloud Template Library can be found here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

I look forward to helping you!

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you!

i start from the cloud library directly but only seeing 428 templates not all

Because of a separate earlier problem, now resolved, I had already come into compliance with the theme requirements. So all of the boxes were green in “Newspaper system status.” In particular, my “WP Memory Limit” is 256 MB/request.

Nevertheless, adding a single plugin (at least from the list I gave that I tested), when coupled with tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library, is enough to kill post editing.

Hello,
I’m trying to make visible all the sub-categories on my mega menu, but it looks like the limit is 4. I’m not using a Cloud Library template but the default one. I checked the td:config.php file and the number of “show_child_cat” is set to 30. There doesn’t seem to be an option to change this on the theme panel.
How can I increase the limit?
Thanks.

Hi,

Unfortunately this option is not available in tagDiv Cloud Library ( MORE FROM AUTHOR tab beside “RELATED ARTICLES ), the elements are separate, not like in default templates , you can set More from author, above or below the Related articles.
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/viHMQpae

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

In some cases that effect may be visible, this is how CSS loads. First the default colors will be loaded, then the colors set in the theme panel or with custom CSS will be loaded, replacing them. Sometimes the transition between the colors is noticeable
http://prntscr.com/n3o9qx

The default color for that header is here – http://prntscr.com/n3oa9q you could remove that code or change it to how you want it there.
This custom code you are using – http://prntscr.com/n3obqv will also load after the theme stylesheet is loaded. You could try and enter custom code directly in the theme stylesheet for a faster load. These should fix the issues.

Another solution is to create your own header (blank template), or import one design by us and modify it if needed – http://prntscr.com/n3ocst
The cloud library plugin is needed for this, also theme version 9.5 and above
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-newspaper-theme-9-5-update/
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
These don’t have predefined design as the default header styles, what you set in the composer will apply.

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

Depends on what you are editing at the moment in the composer. So for example if you are editing a page only elements that can be added in pages will appear
http://prntscr.com/n3lvvshttp://prntscr.com/n3lvzu
Or if I am editing a cloud post template – http://prntscr.com/n3m0xy

If you want to create a new template start from the cloud library directly
http://prntscr.com/n3m1du
There you can see all the elements available.

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for the appreciation, we will gladly help you as best we can.

With the composer you can design pages and also templates. Post templates can be created with the composer, not actual posts. A template cannot be a post, it can only be applied to a post.

You can design as many templates as needed and apply them to the posts you want
https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/

Currently I am not aware of plans to allow the composer to be used for creating posts not templates, so I can’t provide you with a definite answer unfortunately.

Please let me know if you have more questions or need help.
Thanks

Hi,

If you are using the header builder from tagDiv Cloud Library and template from tagDiv Cloud Library you can set with tagDiv Composer your ads anywhere in your website.
