Hi,

First please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You can ask your hosting provider to make them for you. Than check if the composer works as intended. Let us now the results.

Thanks

I realized I could use the Image Gallery in Visual Composer and select Image Grid, Thumbnail, Open prettyPhoto to make the photo gallery that I want. However, when I click the photos to open to bigger versions using Open prettyPhoto, the pictures are blurry. How can I set it up so that Open prettyPhoto will open clear versions of the thumbnail pictures?

Thanks!

Hi! I cannot Save in Composer too, could you help me?

So, two follow-up questions:

1. I’m using the default page template, but NOT the tagdiv composer. I am getting a page title. I assume that is because I am not using the tagdiv composer?

2. Is there a place on the page, or a way, to add CSS to just this page? I’ve seen that in other themes, but cannot find it for this one.

Thanks!

Hello, I would like to know how can I design the template page via Drag and Drop functionality of TagDiv composer or even WPBakery visual composer. I would like to have individual category pages viewed with different wireframes or templates. Plus each individual post page should also be drap and drop built?

Please explain to me how it is possible.

Thank You

I deactivate VisualComposer of my blog and installed the latest version of NewsPaper.

I tried to create a new page using TDComposer and when I add any new element that’s all I see (I added image to this post). It’s not loading anything, just keep waiting indefinitely.

Any idea?

Hi,

First please check the theme system status and make modifications according to this guide, if necessary
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You can ask your hosting provider to help you, or maybe they can make the changes for you. Insufficient resources can cause the composer to not function properly.
Then try using the composer again. If you have the Yoast SEO plugin installed, make sure this option is disabled, it has been identified to cause problems
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
Let us know if you still have issues.

Thanks

Hello,

Unfortunately that is the way VC was implemented into our theme and the only way it’s meant to be used. We will be adding no more features to VC from now on as we are developing our own page builder. Tagdiv composer will receive lots of new cool features inculding multiple column layouts which is lacking at the moment.

Thank you!

Hi,

I’m trying to set up the theme for the first time. Its installed on fresh wordpress instance without any other 3rd party plugins. However, I’m facing issue with TagDiv Composer. Its not loading it Chrome and in Safari it is giving me an error – “Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!”

Please help.
Thanks

There are many guides on getting custom shortcodes added to pages using visual composer. Right now whenever I add a custom shortcode to a page then make any changes in tagdiv, tagdiv composer deletes the shortcodes I entered manually and I must then re-enter them.

What is the best practice for adding custom shortcodes for other content creation plugins into the tagdiv composer element selector.

Hi Bogdan

just to make myself clear

If I use the tagdiv Composer I do not Need the vidual Composer. Correct?

If I want to take Advantage of the mobile theme, I Need to download the mobile theme plugin. Correct?

Cheers

The only required plugin is the page builder. We recommend tagdiv composer.
There is also visual composer if you prefer
Revolution slider, tagdiv social counter and the tagdiv mobile theme; these are all optional plugins.

Thank you!

You seem to have image compression active and that is the cause for quality loss. Please disable all plugins except for theme plugins (social counter and tagdiv composer) and check the host for any optimization tools and disable any image optimization.
As you can see block 24 on our end works properly and does not lose image quality. https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-24/
Thank you!

Hello,

It seems you missed this very important part of the documentation regarding visual composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Please do not use it on posts and please do not use other column layouts besides the ones mentioned in the guide.

Thank you!

Bogdan B.

Hello,

Yes you can. But keep in mind that big improvements will come to the tagdiv composer that will not work on VC. There will be many cool new features coming exclusively for the tagdiv composer.

Thank you!

Hi,

So the problem is that you cannot install the tagDiv composer and social counter. Try installing these plugins by FTP if they cannot be installed otherwise
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/step-by-step-guide-to-install-a-wordpress-plugin-for-beginners/
Place the unzipped plugins in the plugins directory in the WordPress install, then activate them in the plugins section.

Thanks

Hello,

I am looking to render some HTML code inside module blocks when a certain tag is assigned to a post.

I’ve gotten this snippet working inside loop-single-2.php by adding:

<?php if ( has_tag( 'promoted-content' ) ) : ?>
			<h3 class="promoted-txt">Promoted Content</h3>
		<?php endif; ?>

However, when I add this same snippet to td_module_2.php right under the <?php echo $this->get_title();?>, I get nothing outputted to the screen, even though the ‘promoted-content’ tag is assigned to that post.

How do I get the has_tag() condition to work on these td_module_X.php files? What is the correct syntax to trigger it to work?

See attached screenshots. The first shows the modules blocks I need to render the conditional HTML, and the second screenshot shows a very simple example of how I want it to look just so you know understand my goal.

Note: I am not asking you to help me with the HTML or CSS. I simply need the correct syntax for the has_tag( ‘promoted-content’ ) snippet that will trigger the HTML to output on the frontend.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,
I used SSL on my site recently, since that time I can use tagDiv Composer and Social Counter. I didn’t have any issue before installing SSL. Any idea how to sort the issue like this, please?

An error occurred while installing tagDiv Composer: Download failed. cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed.

Hi!

I wanted to install the mobile plugin and followed the guide. But when I looked in the plugin folder there is only two files – td-composer and td-social-counter. The td-mobile-plugin.zip file is missing.

What if I don’t use tagdiv composer at all? My main page only consists of newest posts list.

Hello,

The block title style can be changed from the tagdiv composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
The color can be changed in the theme panel: https://www.screencast.com/t/kXQyEht7z
A block title can be removed if you do not type anything in the block title field when creating or editing a block.
As for the block meta info: https://www.screencast.com/t/galPz7r6Pa

Thank you!

Simion C.
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

This is unusual, the block title should have the color that you set when customizing the page with the composer
https://www.screencast.com/t/3oqBQpjt
It seems there is an additional class that is applying on the title
https://www.screencast.com/t/Z1OMYr7aoWVh
This could be the result of a plugin not functioning correctly, or miss-configured. I could give you a code as a quick fix, but you should identify what exactly is causing the issue. Deactivate all plugins except theme plugins as a test, and check if the problem is solved.
The fix would be this code, enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS
https://www.screencast.com/t/V49lzgTz

.block-title span{
background-color: transparent;
}

Thanks
