Hi,
We suggest to use the panel for changing the size/color.. of the font: http://screencast.com/t/4Q9xo8ix6
For other you need to use a more specific css selector and use !important like this: http://screencast.com/t/sNXTmQcXC1
Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for the delay!
The theme was designed to be responsive so you don;t need to use a plugin. This happens when you use a mobile theme. Unfortunately this is how the theme works as it uses the same code for all screen widths styled via css which means that changing a pages content affects all screens, mobile also.
You can find more info about this here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-template/#post-27060
Thanks
I want my main menu to have white background with black text. What changes do I need to make in the original css file to prevent default main menu backgound color and the blue line above it from loading first?
I tried changing:
.td-header-main-menu {
background-color: #222222;
position: relative;
z-index: 2;
/* responsive portrait phone */
}
to this:
.td-header-main-menu {
background-color: #ffffff;
position: relative;
z-index: 2;
/* responsive portrait phone */
}
but it didn’t work, the default color and blue line still loads first.
What do I need to edit?
Hi,
Here is the code for Load more button, is done via JS. What you can do is to remove the classes from there and put you custom, like my-custom-load and in CSS put your gif as background image for that selector.
Hope this help!
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
1. The color is black on entire site, the category color tag is colored only in article.
2. Go here: http://screencast.com/t/ZBz7L2IRdRk
3. If you want to hide the big grid on categories go to Theme Panel -> Categories and disable it for each category: http://screencast.com/t/eMv99vERUmpE
4. The same here, this is from WordPress: make like point 2, go here: http://screencast.com/t/ZBz7L2IRdRk
5. Can be changed via CSS with this, add it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS
.td_social_type:hover {
background-color: red;
}
About the link button, I’m not sure is possible easily, because is not made from start to be like that.
Thanks for the message!

Thanks for the message!
Hi,
Try with this CSS, add it in Theme Panel -> Custom CSS section:
.td-post-featured-image .entry-thumb {
display: table;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
Thanks for the message!
Anyone know how to fix the custom css, it’s just stopped applying to the theme all of a sudden. Emptied all cache and all that. The custom css is all fine but for some reason none of the changes are showing up on the theme anymore!
Best place to find BBpress support is on the BBpress site/forum, as BBpress is designed to work with all themes, and so the compatibility with WP 4.1 is likely due to BBP needing update:
See – https://bbpress.org/forums/
Themes
bbPress 2.x plugin for WordPress has built-in theme support. All required elements such as front-end editing are included. This means that all functionality will work, even when a theme has no specific bbPress templates or code included with it. To get started customizing bbPress see Theme Compatibility.
Theme Compatibility
Codex Home → Theme Compatibility
bbPress 2.x has built-in theme support. All required elements such as front-end editing are included. This means that all functionality will work, even when a theme has no specific bbPress templates or code included with it.
All bbPress compat can be overridden using a theme or another plugin. Check bbp-theme-compat template wrappers for what a normal theme should include.
To customize bbPress:
The directory “wp-content/plugins/bbpress/templates/default/” contains the directories “bbpress”, “css”, “extras”, and “js”, and the file “bbpress-functions.php”.
•The “bbpress” directory contains template parts. Copy any of them into a directory named “bbpress” in your themes root, so it looks like: /wp-content/themes/%your-theme%/bbpress/
•The “extras” directory contains optional root level page templates, to make life a little easier when customizing; copy any you want to use or modify into the root of your theme. eg. /wp-content/themes/%your-theme%/
•The “css” directory contains style sheets that work with the default markup. Copy any you want to modify into a directory named “css” in your theme’s root. eg. /wp-content/themes/%your-theme%/css/
•Basically, you could copy the entire ‘bbpress’ and ‘css’ directories out of bbPress’s default template directory, and into your theme, and bbPress will use the ones located inside your theme instead. Pretty neat, eh?
And also custom font CSS not applying for home page and archive page post titles as well.

Hello team tagdiv
I have peculiar issues when i am using custom fonts with newspaper theme.
In one of my staging site http://div.wpdiv.com/ i am using self hosted custom font Titillium and assigned font properties to appropriate sections via…
Custom Typography > Post Title Template Style 2, Post Content, Top Menu, Main Menu, Sub Menu Mega Menu, Widget Title and where ever it needs and saved the settings successfully.
But some of the above sections, custom typography is not applied (ex : Megamenu Drop down text underneath mega menu images)
http://s2.postimg.org/66cf4nlzd/megamenu_CSS.png
When i analyze this issue, font face is loading successfully without any issues when i check it via ‘view source’ of current page. But when i analyze it via firebug, the specific mega menu CSS selector property seems disabled.
Why custom fonts are loading for some sections which is successfully applied via Custom Typography settings.
Kindly help me
With regards

Full desktop works on “mobile” tablets, like iPad.
It would be illegible on a phone.
This is how responsive design works; you typically have three sets of breakpoints for desktop, tablet, and phone.
You can modify those by editing the style.css file, remove elements, etc.
So, you could experiment with that to get what you want, but this is a responsive theme, designed to provide the best experience on mobile phones of only showing a single column for better PageSpeed and ease of use for phone users. The iPad/tablet view shows the full site, just condensed in width.
Hi. I’ve got the same issue with the post title background. I’ve added the code to the Custom CSS part but nothing changes.

Any help?
I think somebody asked about this last week, not sure if they tagged their post for easy search, but there was solution to do site wide, or just for posts with custom CSS override.
Might do quick search for that solution.
Hi,
1. Make this: http://screencast.com/t/PFEbStG0jYSu
2. If you want to hide the arrow you can hide it via CSS, just add this in Theme Panel -> Custom CSS section:
.td-icon-menu-up:before{
display:none;
}
4. You can replace SHARE here:(top) http://screencast.com/t/Ry2g9yXaDyvJ – (bottom) http://screencast.com/t/stcA0j7ooc6l
We’ll fix this in one of the next updates.
5. You can edit td_module_single.php:
-for top sharing: http://screencast.com/t/xE7yxlxp4
-for bottom sharing: http://screencast.com/t/rIZu9dj4PH
Thanks!
Good, thank you very much for answering.
Using “blog-stack” I do not like the result, because it makes me the logo in the center and left me too top margin and bottom.
Could you tell me how I can do it for CSS ?, I mean add only the lower margin equal to the upper margin as indicated in the screenshot
Hi,
That header is used only on Classic blog stack, try this, add this in Custom CSS section like here: http://screencast.com/t/fwS5njDg8cLx
Also can be aligned via CSS.
Thanks for the message!

Hi,
The breadcrumb should be modified to support CPT. For the meta info issue, could you provide a link to see the issue, probably can be fixed via CSS.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
If you want to hide the post title, use this CSS, add it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS
.single header h1.entry-title {
display: none;
}
.single header {
top: 0;
}
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
1. You could easily find all selector, just open the style.css and search for font-family and where is a font family there is the selector that you need.
2. There depends of how the font are rendered, on some fonts need manual adjustment.
Use this CSS to align the block header:
.block-title a,
.block-title span,
.block-title label {
padding: 4px 10px 2px 10px;
line-height: 27px !important;
}
.block-title {
line-height: 28px;
}
3. If you write Custom CSS in Theme panel that CSS will overwrite as priority the CSS, not overwrite the old css, the old CSS is there in style.css like you see in your screenshot is in style.css
If you want to remove it, just edit your style.css and delete it from there.
Thanks!
Hi,
Yes, replace all files, but you should check the style.css to make the comparison with your version to see differences.
Read through the PageSpeed sticky topic for various solutions to things like optimizing your CSS by minification, image compression, local saving of avatars vs loading gravatars dynamically, etc.
Also remember score will be lower with adsense ads running and social media buttons that show counts, as well as thinkgs like disqus. To get your real score you need to NOT run any ads from google as they penalize their own content for purposes of score.
YSLOW only improves using CDN.
Buy if you follow the suggestions I’ve posted in the PageSpeed topic, as needed modified for your setup, and then follow the suggestions/solutions from GTMetrix, a “90” score or above for desktop is the “target” to shoot for.
I’m using, or at least trying, to use header style 5. In the documentation there’s a ad displayed below, but in my setup it doesn’t appears. I think I’m looking for this but then for NewsMag.
Second question is about the usage of a CDN. I’m using MaxCDN, but it only works if I exclude the style.css. Otherwise all the icons aren’t displayed at all, is there another workaround for that?
Hi,
1. I don’t know what smartlist you use. For smartlist 2 please edit td_smart_list_2.php and increase value of title lenght: http://screencast.com/t/V6DoWP2d
You can do exactly the same for the smartlist you want.
2. You can try the following css: – http://screencast.com/t/2X3wE7Yx
.td_smart_list_2 .td-sml2-current-item-title {
font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
font-size: 18px;
line-height: 18px;
}
It depends on the list used and the element you want to target. The theme doesn’t have an option for them yet, sorry.
Thank you, Emil G.
Thanks!
