Hello,

This option isn’t implemented in the Block, you can do these changes if you use the Flex Block 1, which have the same structure of Block 24.

To change the color, you need to add the custom code in Theme Panel -> Custome Code -> Custom CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/fdQ8qsNzqgeC -> https://www.screencast.com/t/gFyPSpYTK8.

The code is:

.td_block_24 .td_module_19 .td-read-more a
{
background-color: red;
}

and for hover is:

.td_block_24 .td_module_19 .td-read-more a:hover
{
background-color: blue !important;
}

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hello,

I bought two licenses for your theme and another two ones will be bought soon after solving these problems.

The theme looks so much user friendly, but not the developer. my questions are like the following:

I want to disable/remove all the custom CSS that is generated by the TD-Composer plugin and printed in the DOM with a leading comment (/* custom css */), I don’t want anything outside the CSS files (default styling) so I can overwrite the ones I need without seeing strange block UID for elements which changes every time, and also to prevent excessive DOM size.

Do you have a pre-built demo with WP Bakery?

Can we get rid of the cloud templates? because it only contains some encoded data which I’ll never understand?

If non of the above is doable, how can we ask for a refund?

Regards

Hello!

Please try to change the color with this css code:

.td-business .td-header-style-1 .td-header-main-menu {
background: #6e0033 !important;
}

Copy and paste in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Custom code -> Custom CSS and change the color code with the color you need in your menu.

Thank you!

Hello team,

When I used the normal theme (with standarpack plugin + mobile plugin), I had to exclude these two paths from CDN loading in order for the website to work properly:

/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css
/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/style.css

Now I use the cloud templates, and when using CDN some items do not load correctly:

The problem is more visible in mobile, because the menu or search icon are missing.

Could you tell me which route I should exclude from the cdn now so that everything works properly?
This is the test site where I am having the problems (I always use a test site before using it on my main site): https://cutt.ly/GjpgDNJ

Have a happy new year 🙂

Hi,

On my website footer (example), I’m displaying recent posts using a tagDiv block and have edited the CSS file(s) to try and get the desired colour effect i.e.:

a - #fff
a:hover - #cd5c5c

When the cursor is over the wider div, however, the hover color becomes #b00000. While it’s not the most important thing in the world, I’m not sure how to change this?

It seems to be caused by this CSS element:
.td_module_wrap:hover .entry-title a

This has the color #b00000 and is active when selecting hover in Google Developer Tools on the div
td_module_6 td_module_wrap td-animation-stack

This CSS is showing as coming from
(index)

The changes made to the CSS stylesheets not showing at all. I’ve purged the cache to no effect. Can anyone advise on how I can either amend the CSS or change the theme settings to get the desired hover color?

I hope this makes sense!

This works fine. However, I can see that a div class is applying a :hover colour of #b00000 when the cursor is over the

.td_module_wrap:hover .entry-title a,

Here is the screenshot of the default editor

Custom CSS provided by you to change this issue

http://prnt.sc/wf0k3k

And even the default settings changed.

On the front end the CSS somewhat works; however, the height (px) of the letters remains at 20px even though I specify 11px. The bigger issue is the nightmare ALL CAPS light blue on the editing side.

What he is describing is precisely what I have been working with your support to fix to no avail. First, I don’t use Gutenberg and run only Classic Editor but have tried both to try and fix this disaster. The tagdiv default settings in your Core are set to Roboto font, 18px height, and centered. Additionally, your Core code forces light blue — same color as hyperlinks which is a nightmare — and ALL CAPS. I have set the Theme Defaults to Veranda, 12pt and no go. You sent me Custom CSS which in ANY other WordPress theme would supercede code and that does not work on the Editor side.

I have checked all settings and found out that the “Combine CSS Files” is the one causing the issue.
Is there another way to fix it without totally disabling it?

Sorry, it’s not clear.
Will this solve the CSS issues?

On the browser in mobile view (should look like this):

Seems that by default Newspaper will use the “Desktop” menu for tablet viewports.

Is there a way to change this in Composer/The Theme Panel? Or do I have to do it via CSS?

Hello,

I’m sorry for a miss the question, I thought you solved it => https://www.screencast.com/t/lwDdYD3Ziwf -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CK0GWyoS. To change the color, select the element, in CSS change the background color =>https://www.screencast.com/t/TfyN2jv7 and in General -> Icon color => https://www.screencast.com/t/bBkFXnScYs6.

For creating the menu from the side panel, you need to go in WordPress -> Appearance -> Menus => https://www.screencast.com/t/jGUIBezaz, where you can create a new menu and add the menu items for mobile menu, after you can select the location for the new menu with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/qVeJsidv.

For changing the image with color, you need the change the background-image with background-color =>https://www.screencast.com/t/5BdR2Auw, the new code is:

#td-mobile-nav{
width: 22%;
}
.td-menu-background, .td-search-background {
background-image: none;
}
#td-mobile-nav {
background: no-repeat;
background-size: cover;
background-color: #fff;
box-shadow: inset 0 0 0 1000px rgba(0,0,0,0.1);
}
.td-menu-mob-open-menu #td-outer-wrap {
box-shadow: 0 0 46px #000000;
position: unset;
transform: unset;
}

Also, the fonts can be changed from tagDiv Composer on certain elements, for example, the title from Page Title => https://www.screencast.com/t/SJEj0mfVm.

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hi @gmc!

If you want to show menu or not(also you can do it for every element from the page) in the tablet view, then you can select the element with TagDiv Composer and choose display setting show/hidden for the rest of the viewports from css tab.
Let me know about your results!

Thank you!

Hi – See this page https://piracymonitor.org/partners/akamai

The main area of this page contains three rows of 300x300px images, placed in Image Box blocks. Each row has 3 images across. The top row has a blank in the 3rd position, intentionally. Now… the edges of the images are cropped, so that each image does not display from edge-to-edge (on all four sides of each image).

See this screen shot

When I look at the settings for Image Box block, the CSS tab establishes margins, padding and borders for the entire Image Box block – but not for the individual images placed within the Image Box block. Am I missing an Image Box setting, or is there custom CSS?

One work-around is to edit the images to increase the dark content at the edges. This situation happens with other pages also, but in this case, my client is not willing to edit the images.

What do you suggest?

Thank you.
– Steve

Hello,

I think you are hoping for good results with false advertising when it is impossible to have a good score above 90 on mobile on the tagdiv newspaper, just by activating td-composer or the cloud already it is damn it, 90% of the default css and js is unused and it’s too big a job to delete, all the default css are in place it doesn’t install only the css or js we use but all of them , not to mention that even if you use only one font, google finds about ten when they are not activated, and I’m not even talking about the number of different css and js instead of grouping.
Today your tagdiv is unusable for seo and as I told you, there is no point in having a very nice site without visitors if google downgrades it because of your too heavy script.

Cordially.

Hello,

For woocommerce the theme has only these settings for fonts => https://www.screencast.com/t/AlV6t3kdO, but I can help you to do this with custom CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/FrbY2bwv.
You need to add the code in Theme Panel -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/Ww5uIDUVwHy.
The code is:

.single-product .woocommerce-Tabs-panel--description p {
font-size: 17px;
}

Hope this helps you!
