I added the code to the live CSS, and at first, everything seemed resolved. The titles appeared as we wanted. However, an hour later, I received a call that all the ads were missing from the site. I immediately removed the code from the live CSS and cleared the cache, and the ads reappeared.
Unfortunately, the ads started disappearing every five to ten minutes until I cleared the cache again. After going through this cycle several times, I finally deactivated the WP Fastest Cache plugin.
We have been using the Advanced Ads plugin with the Newspaper theme for five years and added the WP Fastest Cache plugin about ten months ago. We have never experienced this issue before. Do you know of any compatibility issues when using live CSS with either of these plugins? Are there any known conflicts between these plugins and the Newspaper theme?

For ad management purposes, I need to remove the following CSS on a video ad’s container named: (transform: translateZ(0);).
This is the CSS within the page:

The ad has been set via the Newspaper – Theme panel > ADS > Custom ad 2 section with the following code: <div class=”vm-placement” id=”vm-av” data-format=”isvideo”></div>
What do I do to remove the aforementioned container? Thank you.
Hello!
Ah, ok. Then add this CSS in the live CSS:
.td_block_template_3 .td-block-title > * { padding: 40px; width:100%;}
Thank you!
Hello!
I think the background of the first title is significant because the text is longer there.
You should have consistent titles as well.
I recommend the Text with title shortcode, so you have some style and do not need extra CSS: https://app.screencast.com/zQ5pLFMZqTiI5
Or you can build the title separately like this: https://app.screencast.com/uzW8UFPLyDlRs -> https://app.screencast.com/eFxbLHlYDEJd2
Thank you!
Dear Bettina,
Thank you for your continued support.
In the Theme Panel, I configured my category pages by selecting the Full Image style and uploading a background image with exact dimensions to create a fixed background effect. This setup allowed the background image to remain static while scrolling, with the category name and description overlaid, resulting in a visually appealing design.
I am now seeking to replicate this effect using a template to enable further customization for each category. Could you please provide guidance on the following:
Achieving the Fixed Background Effect: How can I implement a fixed background image with the category name and description overlaid, as described above? Is there a specific template that facilitates this effect, or would custom CSS adjustments be necessary?
Recommended Templates: If a particular template supports this design, could you advise on how to install and configure it to achieve the desired effect?
Your prompt assistance with these matters is crucial, as I am working towards an imminent website launch. I appreciate your support and look forward to your response.
Thank you once again for your help.
Best regards

I am seeking assistance regarding an issue with the title bar of a widget on the homepage of the North Dallas Gazette website, which uses your WordPress theme.
The title bar for the “NDG CURRENT EDITION” section (pointed to in the attached screenshot) does not span the same width as the element above it. ![]()
This section is populated by a Custom HTML widget on the widget settings page, and the title, image and link are updated weekly by another user. ![]()
I would like the title bar for this section to match the width of the element above it on the home page. My question is:
Is there a way to achieve this with the current Custom HTML widget, perhaps by adding some custom CSS or modifying the existing HTML?
Alternatively, should I use the “[tagdiv] Text with Title” widget instead? If so, is there specific CSS or code I can add to ensure the title bar width aligns with the above element?
Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to ensure a consistent design across the homepage.
Hello,
I would like to review this. Please email us at contact@tagdiv.com with the wp-admin and cPanel access, including the link to the topic.
There is a custom code CSS, which was deleted.
Thank you!
Hi there – The popular SEO plugin RankMath is telling me that the following CSS and JavaScript files are not minified:
/wp-content/plugins/td-subscription/assets/css/tds-front.css?ver=1.6.2
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/assets/fonts/font-awesome/font-awesome.css?ver=def8edc4e13d95bdf49953a9dce2f608
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tdPostImages.js?ver=12.6.8
Could you please let me know how I can minimise them individually. Everything else is minified.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Did you solve the search issue while using unused css?
I also have the same issue.
Hello!
Check this video: https://app.screencast.com/6LQ5H3I4Nwh1l
If you will add CSS there, then you won’t break the website.
I hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hallo Bettina
I’m sorry but this variant was my first possibility and not and is not the solution.
The Theme is the problem !
I have different websites of my clients with other themes and everything works perfectly with logo and no flashing.
This theme is new and I have never used it, I have done different tests like for example Fonts directly from the server and so on.
What I don’t understand is that you claim that with your Firefox the problem doesn’t exist.
Maybe the Developer Team can create a css?
Guido
Hello!
Yes, you can choose to hide the featured images from those blocks. Check those screenshots: https://app.screencast.com/mXKqYv8w3AovA -> https://app.screencast.com/GWpnBDqsnsV9q
You can hide any element from the CSS tab: https://app.screencast.com/DC5tKoElanPMn
Thank you!

how can i fix these issues?
Hello,
You can change the style to Quotes https://i.imgur.com/sjcAXQT.png and then your style will be applied.
You can use the custom code CSS for blockquotes and set the custom code in Theme Panel -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS.
Please check this topic with a similar question -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/is-it-possible-that-no-one-has-asked-a-question-about-changing-blockquote-style/
Please let me know how you want to change their style.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can change the font size using a custom code CSS
.td-post-template-default .td-post-header header .entry-title
{
font-size: 40px;
}
The css should be set in the theme panel > custom code> advance css > phone section.
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m glad that you managed to solve it.
Usually, the color and image are set on the row, so please edit with tagDiv Composer and select the row and go in the tab CSS, and there you can add/remove it
Have a great day!
I’m afraid I will break my site by adding CSS. How do I get to override existing code?
Hello,
I use a newspaper with default Pro as a prebuilt template (12.6.8). I am struggling with containers. I would like to force the background image/color in containers to be full-width, but the content keeps the padding as it is.

I tried a few different ways but none gave proper results in stretching the background image, and changing padding in CSS for 0px does more harm than good:
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.tdc-row.td-stretch-content, .tdc-row-composer.td-stretch-content {
padding-left: 20px;
padding-right: 20px;
}
}
Result of changing padding from 20px to 0px:

Current mobile look of the image as the background of container

Result that I would like to get

Container structure in BLock Builder looks like below:

I would be grateful for help.
@Anamaria, FYI
function hide_menu_and_admin_bar_items_for_editor() {
// Check if the current user is an editor
if (current_user_can('editor') && !current_user_can('administrator')) {
add_action('admin_bar_menu', function ($wp_admin_bar1) {
if ( is_admin_bar_showing() ) {
echo '<style>
#wp-admin-bar-td_live_css_css_writer, #wp-admin-bar-tdc_edit, #wp-admin-bar-tdc_page_mobile_template {
display: none !important;
}
</style>';
}
}, 9999);
}
}
add_action('init', 'hide_menu_and_admin_bar_items_for_editor');
i change this on my sites by simply adding css over ride, use inspector in chrome to find css, then add new css to customizer or theme panel
For the fix, I simply used wpRocket and removed the unused css. It fixed most of the errors.
Hello!
Do you have any padding or margin on that row/element in the CSS tab?
Thank you!
please provide css then
Hi,
I have a single background image in my Cloud Template, placed above the fold, but it’s currently being loaded lazily (td_lazy applied). This causes a noticeable delay in the image rendering, which I’d like to avoid.
I want to disable lazy loading only for this specific image, while keeping the lazy loading functionality enabled for all other images on my site.
- The image is part of a TagDiv Cloud Template
- The td-lazy-img class and data-img-url attributes are applied automatically.
I attempted to override the lazy loading behavior with CSS, but the td_lazy JavaScript seems to reapply it.
Question:
Is there a built-in way to disable lazy loading for a specific background image in the TagDiv Composer or Theme Panel? If not, what would be the recommended method to handle this efficiently without affecting other images or performance?
Thank you for your help!
Hello,
I see; I recommend using a cloud template for the tags/posts/categories/search and so on because are more flexible and you can edit them with tagdiv Composer https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-use-tagdiv-cloud-library-templates/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
To change now the text color is by using a custom code css-> .td-page-title, .td-page-title h1 {
color: red!important;
}
Set the code in Theme Panel ->Custom code -> Custom CSS
Also, the posts from this block are working -> https://i.imgur.com/gOni3jB.png can you please provide more details about your issue?
Thank you!
