Nevermind I found an easier way using nth-child in CSS. I pasted in Theme Panel > Custom Code > Custom CSS and works.

<style>
table {
border-collapse: collapse;
width: 100%;
}

th, td {
text-align: left;
padding: 8px;
}

tr:nth-child(even) {background-color: #f2f2f2;}
</style>

Hi. I’m trying to use block elements to separate Amazon products into sections on pages/posts. For example, use hr elements to separate rows of products contained in brackets (See example below). I tried adding CSS in Theme options hr { display:block; } and inline css on pages but nothing seems to work. The block elements work in other themes.

Example Amazon product code:

[amazon_link asins=’B07RNYMFY7′ template=’ProductAd’ store=’hdrep-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’c9730ffd-69ea-4b59-b6a6-5d083a9d9163′]

hi Calin,

hopefully u can response faster next time,

ok i am already understand the concept, i will try your instruction, but meanwhile … i’ve done it with different approach to put text-with-title on top bar area row and put the WPML shortcode inside the text-with-title element (1st screenshot), and the result is (2nd screenshot)

but there is one problem, the row dissapeared in phone portview (3rd screenshot)

already set the css elemen, column, and row as display ‘show’ on the phone portview in the tagdiv composer, but i have no luck

Hi,

is there a way to style the way an images appears in the enlarged lightbox view? The black gradient default style doesn’t work for my site since the gradient is quite large and changes the way the images look too strongly. (Plus often I won’t even have a caption and then it’s just weird.) I understand that this is about making copyright information and captions readable but I’d prefer if those were added under the picture (or if they have to stay within the picture only had a small but solid background)

If CSS custom code for this already exists, I’d know how to integrate it.

Hello !

Please try this CSS Code for the rounded edges: .td-module-thumb {
border-radius: 20px;
}

The code must be inserted here: https://www.screencast.com/t/J1Nxw5s5

Also please be a bit more specific about the second issue. I am having a hard time understanding it.

Is there a plugin you’d recommend? … we tried a few plugins but every single one has a conflict with tagDiv Speed Booster plugin (and if this one is not working then the site has issues with menu CSS)

Hi,

1. You can stretch the row using tagDiv Composer, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/m8b8i5Hjp the default size is 1068px , to set a lower width go in css tab set the width you want and set margin left and right auto like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/G8kbrrXTmtU

2. You can use the excerpt option to limit the words or letters from your block titles -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KrlYQ7gis -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
Also you can use the tagDiv Composer and set the length on title -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qx8isD5qfHt -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Thank you!

Hi,

That is not inline style, you need to add a specific class, in this way the Bootstrap css will add on the elements that contain that class.
Here you can check what is a class -> https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_classes.asp
And here you can check what is inline style -> https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_howto.asp

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello – love the theme! I posted this on Themeforest but thought I’d get better support here. My question is about 2 sidebars on the front page and page width. Is it possible to widen the page width? With 2 sidebars, I don’t think they’d fit with the current width. I’ve played around with the CSS but it throws things out of whack when I widen it. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I created a simple looking cookie consent through Cookie consent osano and it wants me to paste snippets before </head> and </body>. I found </head> in header.php but wasn’t able to locate the </body> tag in theme file.
Can you please help me fix that.

  • +NO, I don’t want to use any cookie plugins.

Code to be pasted before </header>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/cookieconsent@3/build/cookieconsent.min.css" />

Code to be pasted before </body>

<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/cookieconsent@3/build/cookieconsent.min.js" data-cfasync="false"></script>
<script>
window.cookieconsent.initialise({
  "palette": {
    "popup": {
      "background": "#efefef",
      "text": "#404040"
    },
    "button": {
      "background": "#8ec760",
      "text": "#ffffff"
    }
  },
  "theme": "edgeless",
  "position": "bottom-left",
  "content": {

  }
});

Sorry. But are you suggesting inline styles? That is not a good solution. I need a site-wide solution. I don’t understand why CSS won’t work over the top of your theme? Can you explain?

Hi,

You can use this code to hide the blue arrow for back to top –
.td-scroll-up {
display: none;
}

The code need to be set in Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css

Thank you!

Hi,

You can try this custom css https://www.screencast.com/t/kJexaYeWBi
.page-id-201 .tdc-content-wrap .tdc-row:first-child .vc_row .vc_column_container {
width: 20%;
display: inline-block;
}
.page-id-201 .tdc-content-wrap .tdc-row:first-child .vc_row .vc_column_container .custom-block {
margin-right: 5px;
margin-left: 5px;
}

But notice that this code will apply only on this page and for the format that it have now ( the 5 columns to be set first ).

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,

First make a table like the one that you want to achieve -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XAtNR5zv4I -> https://www.w3schools.com/bootstrap/tryit.asp?filename=trybs_table_bordered&stacked=h add the classes to your table -> https://www.screencast.com/t/51Q41gmDqlQa -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iQTsQLmE6MCv after that set the css link in head like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QxpoTcUYPr here are the results -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lpON4erQfKio

Thank you!

Hi. An example page would be:
https://hd-report.com/amazon-fire-tv-channels/

I’m trying to make look like this:
https://www.w3schools.com/bootstrap/tryit.asp?filename=trybs_table_striped&stacked=h

Here is the full reference to Bootstrap tables on W3Schools:
https://www.w3schools.com/bootstrap/bootstrap_tables.asp

I tried putting the styles above in style.css and in CSS option in Theme. The bootstrap.css CDNs are linked in both header.php and header-empty1.php

Here is what it should look like https://imgur.com/a/8laybmf and what it looks like in the editor. As soon as I save it and view it live this is what it looks like https://www.easternoregonsports.com/teams/nyssa-bulldogs/

It is cutting the top part of the box. I have tried everything I can think of from padding css to creating a completely new fancy text element underneath and it does the same thing. The white space above will be a global ad but it still does it if I remove the ad. Thanks.

Hello,

If you are referring to this image -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NiYHPZyDKDh then you’ll need to open the page in td Composer click on the image, click on the row change the tag to css and just change the padding like this https://www.screencast.com/t/S9QvHJsAs

If this is not what you mean, please provide some screenshots and some more details.

Thank you!

Hello, thanks for your response and I will consider your indications about the support response time.

What you indicate to me of the zero margin in the css of the row of each box I have done before and it does not work, that I have tried from the beginning because I imagined that those parameters were for that but it did not work.

I still do not solve the problem, I thank you if you can tell me something else to do.
