I went back and tried again and yes the hover worked and theme details displays but there is no delete option. What the hell? There are 5 buttons under Details none of which are delete. The buttons are: Customize, Widgets, Menus, Edit CSS and Install plugins.
Hi,
I’m using the [tagDiv] Author box widget in the sidebar of my posts/pages. The picture in this author box has a border radius. Is there a way to remove this border radius somewhere in the settings or do I need to remove it with a custom css code?
Thanks for your help.
I have tried an unmodified child theme, so no changes to the functions.php or style.css with the same result.
I do not understand why this does not work after your changes for Envato, if you are correct that means we have to choose between a child theme or AMP with all Envato themes. Hope you get it working in next release.
Still love the theme…
Aha. Ok thanks, I’ve used the CSS code I described and looks fine now.
Hi,
I did see something like that on some websites, but I didn’t check how it was made. Surely there are solutions, try search online, for example
– https://css-tricks.com/reading-position-indicator/
– https://www.magnet4blogging.net/add-reading-progress-bar/
If these don’t work try some more.
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked your website URL and I saw that you have some problems through your console. Also, you bring mixed content, a problem which is caused by your unproperly SSL configuration.
Please use these guides to make the implementation properly:

Thank you!
As I stated in my initial question, I DID increase the limit number to 20 and it will still only show about 12 of them. Please see the screenshot I provided.
Is there a custom CSS I can enter that will show the rest of my subcategories on a second row?
Thanks,
Chris
Hello,
Thank you for your answer, but i don’t have custom ad like in the photo. I have only Geeral and CSS, so how can i do it exactly?
Hi,
New the single_template_1.php can be found in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/single/single_template_1.php -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Fu7JfEo6ctB
Unfortunately these files can not longer be set in child theme.
Most of the theme files were moved into the tagdiv composer plugin as per the requirements of envato: https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements.
We wrote an article on the subject here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
Moving forward with such requirements, a child theme will only work with functions.php, and style.css as there are very few files left in the main theme as envato requires all functionality to be added through plugins.
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
When i try to update to 9.7.1 i get an error message:
‘Can not be installed. The theme has no style.css stylesheet’
What is wrong?
I only have those two files, style.css and functions.php in my chins theme anyway. The issue still occurs.

Hi,
Please replace the above custom css with this one
<style>
.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
margin-top: 48px;
}
.post, .post .td-post-header-holder, .td-post-template-4 .td-post-title ,.td-pb-row, .td-container-wrap {
background-color: #f7f7f7;
}</style>
If there is still a page/post that do not have the full background color set please provide me that link.
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hi,
There will be a left and right padding on mobile, most elements will have it with some exceptions.
There are some things you could try. For the top form, edit the page with the composer and select the mobile mode
– http://prntscr.com/nfmnnd then set a negative margin left and right for the raw HTML element used – http://prntscr.com/nfmoe3 set a -20px value.
Or use a code like this one – http://prntscr.com/nfmox8 in the mobile CSS field of the Theme panel->Advanced CSS
.home .vc_raw_html {
margin-left: -20px;
margin-right: -20px;
}
For the column title lower down the page, you could try something like this
– http://prntscr.com/nfmw0e
.home .tdc-content-wrap .td-stretch-content:nth-child(6) {
padding-left:0;
padding-right:0;
}
Enter it in the same phones field – http://prntscr.com/nfmwdq
There may be other solutions, let me know if these work or I will think of a different way.
Thanks
Hi,
Please set this custom css in theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
.entry-title a:hover, .td-post-category:hover, .widget a:hover, .td_block_wrap a:hover {
color: #427aa1;
}
This should solved the problem on Safari with the text color for that button when is hover.
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately in Newspaper v9.7 the td-api-plugin will not longer work, sorry! you can achieve the modules that you made with that api using the flex blocks and you can save the element in a shortcode to can use it later in orders pages -> https://www.screencast.com/t/a2ikt4tq

Hi,
I think that you can use a custom css -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-custom-code-in-newspaper-theme/
Unfortunately I do not have access to your website -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lK8jo04eqAvQ
Thank you!

It simply does not work. I get an error message saying: style.css is missing.
I still would like a answer from Tagdiv to my original question in this thread.
Hi Calin
Thank you for your reply ,
I hope you understand my issue check this link for this article (https://bit.ly/2viIgpz) and check the color on the page screen ( http://prntscr.com/nfbno2 ) that’s what I was talking about , so how can I make it Grey ? your previous CSS was working good but once I imported the old fashion design for home it become like this ,
Hope can get this fixed
Thank you again
Even though I selected full size at the logo selection it scales to 90px.
So is there an easy way to set it to 120px or do I need to change CSS to?
.td-header-style-3 .td-header-sp-logo img {
max-height: 120px;
}
Hi,
If you want to change that color you need to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Cusotm CSS area.
.td-header-wrap .td-header-sp-top-widget .td-icon-font, .td-header-style-7 .td-header-top-menu .td-social-icon-wrap .td-icon-font {
color:red;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
For pages you can try this custom css
.page .td-page-content .bookmark ul li a{
color: white;
background: #6fa82f;
padding: 2px 5px
}
Thanks.
Hello,
Yes, it would 🙂 but unfortunately the new css rewrites the old one and the setting need to be adjusted in the thee panel at the moment.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi,
That is happen because first is load the style from theme files, only after that is load the style from theme panel, what you can do is to set the css in theme files -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sKt8qi631m wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css or you can set the code in Theme panel>Analytics/JS Codes ->https://www.screencast.com/t/htFOQ1yUpegD in header
<style>
.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
margin-top: 48px;
}
.td-post-template-4 .td-post-title ,.td-pb-row, .td-container-wrap {
background-color: #f7f7f7;
}
</style>
