Hi,

There is a setting to change the main menu text color
https://www.screencast.com/t/fUDpgvIe
This setting will make the text as you wish, on the whole website. If you want to change the color only for the homepage it could be done with custom CSS. In this case please provide a link to your website and details about how you want it to be, and I will give you a more accurate solution.

Thanks

Hi,

I believe that is the background color of the black demo. The demo has custom design, most of the theme elements are meant to be dark. The background color is added through CSS in the demo stylesheet, setting a color in the theme panel will make the website boxed.
You could set a background color for the row like this if you want it for a specific row
https://www.screencast.com/t/KcAGaZsAT
Or if you want to change the general dark demo background color, do it in the demo stylesheet directly
https://www.screencast.com/t/4dXQlUpAYCtH

The author name, date and comment count can be disabled in the theme panel
https://www.screencast.com/t/vpsaxIEmj
This will affect all the website, if you want this only for a specific element I could give you a custom code. Provide a link to the page and I will give you a solution, if that is what you want to do.

Thanks

Hi,

This code I found seems to remove all the WordPress versioning in the source
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/233543/how-to-remove-the-wordpress-version-from-some-css-js-files
https://www.screencast.com/t/heR1GX6uo
Maybe it would be useful to you, make tests with it.

Hi,

is there a system to remove the link from the featured image of each article (linked to the larger image format) directly in the code without changing css?

Hi guys,

From some reason the color of the Title on all my Big Grids is dark brown, as you can see here:

http://www.screencast.com/t/lV6iCOm9NvV

I checked the CSS code (through the Theme Panel) and it’s empty, no CSS code there at all.

How can this be fixed?

Thanks!

Hi,

I cannot seem to pinpoint exactly where this is coming from, it is present in the post pages as well, but not on category or tag pages
https://www.screencast.com/t/yt1z68X9
I could give you a code to hide it on the homepage however
https://www.screencast.com/t/axKkqWHxn34l

.home .none {
display: none;
}

Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS if you would decide to use it.

Thanks

New Topic -> Dynamic css and js.

I use varnish in my server to cache files from memory, but, I have a problem, as I made a little bit of research on web I learned the why but not how to resolve it.

Behind every css and js file is see /ver= and after an the = sign there is a number always changing and this prevents varnish to cache it because it changes every time.

How can I disable dynamic css and js?

Here is a link to be more clear https://ibb.co/fxpnGm

Hi,

That is how columns are set to display responsively, they will drop one below the other. On mobile they will likely not look properly in such a small space. If absolutely required there could be a way. First set a custom class for the row containing the elements
https://www.screencast.com/t/6yw6ZJkQ
Then based on that custom class manipulate how the columns display on mobile, with a custom code like
https://www.screencast.com/t/DdF0U56x
This is the code used in the example, it will work on rows split in 4 like you are using

.myclass .td-pb-span3 {
width: 25%;
float:left;
}

It should be entered in Theme panel->Advanced CSS in the phones section, if you should consider this a solution.

Thanks

Hello nikthehat,

You should use the media queries to target your device width you want. Please check here -> https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_rwd_mediaqueries.asp

Hello,

This is not a theme element. It is a custom wordpress implementation. Sorry but wordpress customization is not part of the theme support. The guide seems to be pretty straight forward. Please read it carefully and make sure you follow each step. Css can be added in the theme panel-> custom css box.

Thanks.

Hi,

There are font settings for all theme modules, the big grid you are using is made of 2 type of modules (mx5 and mx6)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/
Change their font properties in the theme panel if needed
https://www.screencast.com/t/TmQFKKCifMni
https://www.screencast.com/t/BOBsgTX96rve
Blocks design may differ from one to another, the category tag is not displayed in the same style for all modules. You can see how all the blocks look in the live demo
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
I could give you a custom code to position the tags differently, it would be easier like this however, on top of the thumbnail
https://www.screencast.com/t/zQgdkGgQThnc

.td_block_11 .td-post-category {
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 0;
}

Enter the code in Theme panel->Custom CSS if you should decide to use it
https://www.screencast.com/t/IXpqhrhj

Hi,

It would be possible to style a text paragraph as an alert, like in the websites you mention. I inspected the styling used, and used it like this
First set a custom class to the paragraph in question, so the styling does not apply to all the paragraphs in the post content
https://www.screencast.com/t/3Z6gb9uMnNIp
Then apply the styling similar to the one used there
https://www.screencast.com/t/hP2vQcJ7kl
https://www.screencast.com/t/U3KKyvCLrpdE
Colors can be changed according to your liking. Enter that code in Theme panel->Custom CSS section, then all you would have to do is to set the custom class for the paragraphs. The design will apply.
This is the code used in the example

.alert {
margin-bottom: 1.313em;
border: 1px solid #f6dca7;
padding: 0.786em 2.25em 1em 1.15em;
font-size: 14px;
line-height: 1.5;
text-shadow: 0 1px 0 rgba(255,255,255,0.9);
color: #c09853;
background-color: #fcf8e3;
border-radius: 4px;
box-shadow: inset 0 1px 0 rgba(255,255,255,0.8), 0 2px 3px rgba(0,0,0,0.065);
}

Hi,

In that case you could use a code like this, it will remove the default theme post pagination
https://www.screencast.com/t/DOVaVjvqi47
https://www.screencast.com/t/9tHFxcDA5Nxw
Then only the plugin pagination should be visible. Enter the code in Theme panel->Custom CSS

.single footer .page-nav-post {
display: none;
}

If it does not work properly, please provide a link to a post on your website where this is occurring and I will try to give you a different solution.

Thanks

Hi,

Through CSS would be the only way to change this default margin, if this is required. The margin is set only for the bottom of the paragraph. A margin top is not set each paragraph has a margin bottom of 26px by default, I believe WordPress sets a 1.5em default margin.
The code I mention above will change the margin bottom for all paragraphs in post content, page content, composer text elements etc.
Use the value you want in the code, then enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS, it will remain there until you remove it if needed. Code entered there will not be lost after theme updates.

Thanks

Hi,

It seems that is the case, the iframe will be 100% of the available space. You could force the iframe dimensions like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/mo07HTYi7fe
Enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS

.wpb_text_column iframe {
width:560px;
height:315px!important;
}

This code will affect all iframes in text columns however, it could be made more precise by setting a custom class to the column text element
https://www.screencast.com/t/40BqBdMMK
https://www.screencast.com/t/gm7ACbWUBD0

Thanks
