However – When I apply the logo with a background color, the logo itself touches the top and bottom edges. I need to create space in the margin-top and margin-bottom so that the background is visible in the top most and bottom most areas. What CSS do I use to modify this?
I’m developing a site in which a great many posts are commented notifications of new, authored topics on various remote sites, and which need no author box or even ‘by author’ tags in the posts on my site. However, a number of in-depth posts are/will be authored ‘locally’ and should have author name and author box attached to post.
Is it possible to switch off name and box in the theme template, then switch a theme ‘on’ only for a few individual posts?
(switching name and box ‘on’ in theme template, then switching ‘off’ with custom css per postid would require far too much custom css work!)

I am not talking about increasing the product number, but increasing the numbers of columns for category design from the default 4 column to 5 column on the shop or archive page.
By the way, I have done what you asked me from your first response, that only affects the product number, and not the category column number.
If you even check what you sent to me now on the increasing from 4 to 40, you will discovered the columns on the archive page remains 4, but the product number is 40.
I am concern with increasing the column and the product number.
The solution was tackled in the link above by using css to reduce the width of the archive page to accommodate more columns.

I could not say what exactly is causing the issue, there could be an interaction between theme CSS conditions and the actual ad code. However, glad you could fix the issue and the ads are displaying properly at the moment.

I am looking to add a multi-colored text menu. Basically, I need the text to be a different color for each title in the menu so it can match my category colours. Is there a way to add a CSS code for this. I tried using the menu-item specific code but only background colours work not actual hover text colours.

I have a problem with hover color on the big grid. My page is very large and needs a lot of time to load. When loading the hover is blue. On which line in style.css or somewhere else I have to change color so that no blue appears when the page loads. My color is rgba (0,0,0,0,4).

Oh actually it wasn’t what I thought it was — thought it was a setting in Theme Panel, which I changed and that seems to fixed it. But after testing out Ultimate Member plugin, turns out that if you set it to “Never load CSS / JS in homepage”, it seems to override the theme CSS! Just FYI to anyone who is using Ultimate Member.

and I meant *all* custom code; “The Theme Panel puts all the custom fonts, colors and customizations in inline code instead of storing them in a file” … all of that can be done manually in the style.css vs using theme panel to make those changes.

I’m not talking about custom CSS, but the CSS that is directly generated by the theme, which generates as Inline content
Best way to do custom CSS, btw; is simply add to bottom of the style.css and minify; don’t place in the theme panel.
Also, if your host supports mod_pagespeed there is a nifty filter to remove comments, empty spaces and line breaks at the server level.
Not perfect answer, but that’s what I do. 🙂

Some of my published instant articles were getting unpublished due to the same errors:

How’s possible to either disable the live css edit feature or edit the code — tell me where the files are located?

Been using the theme for a month and it’s been great regarding functions and customization. The only thing I’ve been really fighting with is performance, as the theme generates lots and lots of inline CSS & JS instead of having main cores on files which I can compress and cache.
So far I’ve done all the optimizations recommended, using WP Cache and also Fast Minify. They work as intended, however there’s one thing they can’t fix: Inline code.
The Theme Panel puts all the custom fonts, colors and customizations in inline code instead of storing them in a file, making it impossible to compress, minify and cache those files, while also render those customizations last.
Is there a way I can easily modify the code (I’m a dev), without breaking updates, for putting those customizations on a file instead of inline?
And as a suggestion, reducing the inline code both for the Theme Panel customizations and for the Blocks would be a huge performance hit on this theme. Even on dedicated servers it’s not loading as fast.
