Your given CSS code has helped to solve the problem and get the desired result.

The suggestion of entering a standard html link inside the title text did not work.

Thanks a lot for all your help.

Hi,

Unfortunately I can not tell from a screenshot what properties the menu items have, so a link to your website to your website would be helpful, so we can inspect it for a more accurate response. You could also use your browser inspector and identify the elements used, their classes and their properties – https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/browser+inspector/ and modify them however you like with custom css.

Thanks

Hello,

If the scroll method is not working for you then you can try to use this css to limit the code from overflowing the content:

.td_top_authors .td-authors-url {
white-space: nowrap;
overflow: hidden;
text-overflow: ellipsis;
display: block;
}

Thank you!

Hello,

1. For this you will have to contact your cdn host and they will instruct you how you can test their service. The only test I could provide is the google page speed. That is the main reason for using a cdn server, in order to load content faster and keep your host server requests low.

2. Please check this few guides: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/

Hi,

You could try these custom css codes for the footer block titles, this one is for the facebook widget title color and also you could set a background color to it too (with colors of your choosing) just enter them in Themepanel->Custom Css, or if you don’t want any background just remove the background property from the code

.td-footer-wrapper .widget_facebook_likebox .block-title a {
color: #8e0039!important;
background-color: yellow;
}

Result –
And this code is for the other two block widgets if you would like to set a background color to them

.td-footer-wrapper .td_block_7 .block-title span {
background-color: yellow;
}

Result – https://www.screencast.com/t/SVvzPJQubhJ
You could try entering a standard html link – http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_links.asp inside the title text, but I do not know if it will work or not, give it a shot.

Thanks

Hello Ylli,

If you want to display the top menu bar in the mobile version, you should use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and pale it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu {
display: block;
}
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/R9O2xu3I4iL3

Thanks for your understanding!

Dear Creators,

I have tried many options in last 2-3 days for improving Google Pagespeed scores – main area is Minify CSS and JS and Caching. I signed-up CloudFlare free / basic plan – but i dont think it is working.

***** Part 1: Minify CSS and JS
I tried following plugins and for last 2-3 days, it is not very much succesful and most of them give FOUC on the site.

Plugins Tested:
1. Autoptimize (If enable HTML then FOUC within seconds, and cannot select any advanced options because FOUC)
I tried to select options to push CSS inline and load into the head – using the advanced options, but homepage breaks.

2. WP Roids (some issue with .htaccess – maybe because of my hosting, but give FOUC) – I have contacted the plugin author already and there is another guy which has Newspaper 7 theme having issue with this plugin.

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/breaking-site-with-newspaper-7-visual-composer/

3. WP Super Minify (i dont know if this did anything – cannot see any changes)

4. Best WordPress Minify – using since today afternoon – Not FOUC yet

Note: Cloudflare Minify option is activated all the time.

Can you please advise which plugin to use – which will not break the CSS and render pages properly. I removed Revolution Slider for now also to improve speed.

It is happening to me also, and then also depending on the browser font settings (Chrome, FF, Edge – all have different font customization).

After adding custom fonts, I also update all the fonts option in the selection boxes for post, pages etc under the Theme Fonts option.

Maybe option is to disable google fonts loading – I manage to do this as I was using some CSS optimization plugins to speed up the google pagescore. You might need to work around the CSS files to ensure the custom font is picked up prior to page load. This could delay the page load – as the font files/resource will need to be loaded (maybe use async option – but I am trying to search myself).

Hi.

I do not understand, when I disable the extensions or that I remove the custom css, it does not solve anything….. and I only update WordPress AND Newspaper…

And you think it is an external conflict that makes the wallpaper is still displayed despite the trick that worked before and no more now?

Thank you

I just checked my site with W3C CSS Validator (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/) and Nu Html Checker (https://validator.w3.org/nu/) to see if there are any errors. I’m using cloudflare and i have enabled Auto Minify but it’s not working due to theme errors. I will send you the URL of my site by email.

Hello,

That is the top menu. The top menu was not intended to show on mobiles. There is a css workaround if you need this option available on mobiles but I will need a link to your website though as the code is not the same for all sites. It depends on how you set it up.

Thank you!

Hi,
Well the code is coming from somewhere external. The theme css comes from either style.css or demo.style.css. If a code shows the source of “index” that means it comes from your site somewhere wheter it;s a plugin or custom code. This code that breaks the css for the related articles block come from index: https://www.screencast.com/t/oYdnGgTOeOmG so it;s not the theme or the theme update. it;s another source coming from your site.
Thank you!

Hello,

It seems the plugin adds a few css rules that rewrite the theme css. Please find these rules in the plugin css and remove them: https://www.screencast.com/t/Qial1iTPtN

Thank you!

Unfortunately I’m developing the website using offline server (running MAMP). I’ve tried many combinations trying to target the specified class — both in custom CSS and style.css in the child theme with no effect. Any suggestions?
