I recently discovered that I receive the following error when I test my post URLs using Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool:
“A value for the name field is required.” (view my test here)
Until recently (within months) my posts passed the validator just fine. However, if I’m not mistaken, Google must have changed the requirement for some schema markup.
Testing an article link on the Newspaper demo does not result in an error. I am currently using Newspaper version 4.6.3, and I intend to keep using that version.
If someone could perhaps provide a solution or point me in the right direction to fix this, I would appreciate it.

(( deal with server death was RAID5 turned out to be RAID0 … ruh roh! For both the server AND the back up system. One started to go bad, but wasn’t giving up error notices; the other one just started to go bad on Sunday, died completely Thurs. night … aka “the week of hell” … NOW we have RAID10 and full external RAID10 backup on top of that!!!! I have a few smaller fixes that needs to be done. I can’t find where to do the changes. Please advice me.
1. On the homepage in the Newsmag demo the comments counts are visible. Nice. How to make the counter visible?
2. On the demo there is a ticker named “TRENDING NOW”. I would like to change that text. Where?
3. I would like to move the logo to the left and also increase the logo area. Where?
4. On a page where I have fit in RSS feeds the RSS Widgets header text is white by default and subsequently against a white background it becomes invisible. Where to change the text color of the RSS Widgets header text?

Meanwhile, I’m using another post template – style 3, that use other kind of title (http://a-trompa.net/novidades/chama-disco-grilo-longifolia). The problem happens when you use de style 4 (Post Settings>Defaul Post Template//Scandal Demo). If you have a title with 2 lines of text, that’s ok, but if you have a small title, with just one line, it appears a grey area in post title.

It worked but I am unable to understand what defines the different posts under difference sections? I am unable to set different categories for different section.
Here as demo, we have section nmae – fashion, sports etc. which is different than my categories name. How can I find the category section ID to use it to show different categories’s posts under different sections.

1) Please do one more test with adsense. Please install the adrotate plugin and use your adsense code with the plugin. You can add the plugin shortcode in the theme ad spots. This way you will bypass the theme ad system. See f the plugin shows the ad. This way you will know if the theme is the problem or the ad is the problem.

Please do not confound our demos with plugins because it is totally wrong! So, all of our demos have own design and that one can be achieved only if you will download and use this demo. Please notice that it is not a simple task to combine the settings from Food Recipes and Health&Fitness because the style from each of them might be found here -> http://screencast.com/t/jwXnnrg91X42 All of these requests involves custom work and we cannot provide some of them at the moment, sorry! If you want to fully customize your theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you!

Hi, I would like to know if it’s possible to use the food recipes plugin into the “Health & Fitness” demo of the Newspaper theme. I think that would be a great combination, and also if the Newspaper 7 version includes all the demos listed (Food Recipes, Health & Fitness, etc.). It would be really great to be able to insert recipes but to use the Healdh & Fitness demo.

Like I have already described I have two installs running on a local environment. One with the demo content installed which I have just replaced the logo image, I then have another install where I was trying to recreate that feature. I have gone through everything side by side to make sure the setting are the same (which I believe they are), however I feel I may be missing something obvious but just don’t know what??
Could you shed any light on what I am probably doing wrong??

Well I am a customer like you not affiliated with Tagdiv, and I had the same question.
Here’s the lowdown:

The short of it: you can use the plugin without access to premium features such as downloading templates from the Revolution Slider site, or auto updates (you can update the plugin via uploading the plugin files that are included with each Newspaper update).
You will have to either use the limited sliders that come with the plugins, create your own, or upload the five or so in the demo_sliders folder from the Newspaper .zip file.

Please keep in mind that all of our demos have an own design and if you want to have it you will have to download and use the certain demo. So, if you want to add an image under the header, please notice that you can try to use any Header Style and then, through background-image method you can add a photo which will be under your menu items or also, you can use the Visual Composer and add it from your Backend, using the ROW in stretch mode. Please notice that is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because all of these customizations involves custom work and we cannot provide it.

This means you do not have the social counter plugin active. You have imported a demo that uses a social counter element in it’s content but the plugin is disabled. Please install and activate the social counter plugin

OK, I have watch and read,now i’m trying to change layouts etc, but nothing is happening, do I have to delete all of the demo content or what am I missing.. Just trying to change top bar to fahrenheit and cant make that even happen..what am I missing? Thanks
