I’m using full Revolution Slider’s ‘Featured Slider’ addon.
Before you say ‘Contact Themepunch’– I have, and my request for TagDiv is information about the right Newspaper theme files to make the change they have suggested.
Their featured slider addon is based on filtering WP function the_thumbnail (the_post_thumbnail?) with a piece of shortcode. This doesn’t work with themes that customized featured image code, such as Newspaper.
So I need to find the featured image code in the theme files to wrap with their shortcode.
Please help me find where to do it, and I’ll take the liability of experimenting with it myself. d(^^)b
Bonus info: They recommend using their shortcode which is [featured_revslider][/featured_revslider] via do_shortcode function, ala this example “echo do_shortcode(‘[featured_revslider][/featured_revslider]’);

Unfortunately, please notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add in that place of post your desired ad, sorry! For example, if you are using the post template style 1, you should edit the theme core file where this template was written and add there through do_shortcode method the ad you want, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xdKEJdFd5orl After this, ensure that you have added your ad in the Custom Ad 1 field from Theme panel, Ads, section.

Thank you. I know how to use do_shortcode() method, but still it allows to add block which width is main content width, not main content + sidebar. Everything i add in comments.php file has width which has main content, but i want it to be as wide as the page.
If there are no other options how to do that i will try to figure it out on my own one more time.

If you want to add some elements in that area, notice that you should edit the comments.php core file and add there the shortcode you want, using the do_shortcode() method. I’m trying to implement the following code into single_template_2 to replace the original Newspaper theme top share section. I know where to put the code but when I place it the right sidebar pushes down, unlike the original theme share buttons. Any help would be great.

I tried using both advanced excerpt plugin and adding add_filter(‘the_excerpt’, ‘do_shortcode’); in fucntions.php but didn’t work. In full post there is no problem in displaying audio player.

With the help of a tutorial written here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/implement-infinite-scroll-on-single-posts/ and by using some common sense, I was able to apply infinite post scrolling on a single post.
Here is the step I took for this:
1. I am using TagDiv composer for the pages but to be able to use infinite scrolling on a single post, I have to enable Visual Composer for posts.
2. I wanted block-3 design and my default post type is: Style-1 so, I edited loop-single-1.php, I added the required code
Here is the code that you need to add under loop-single-1.php after <?php echo $td_mod_single->related_posts();?>

Though it worked properly, but I face two main issues.
1. I am using smart sidebars on each post and usually, it works great. With this infinite scrolling. I noticed that ‘The smart sidebar’ keep scrolling even above the full width infinite scrolling post blocks, and hence it overlaps.

How to make smart scroll stops once infinite scrolling starts? I noticed that this site ( http://www.storypick.com/short-film-affair/ ) is successfully able to use infinite scrolling and smart sidebar both. Please help me with this.

3. While trying for many solutions, I looked at a thread which suggested to el_class=”td-ss-row” for this. I tried using it in the above code. Well, though it stopped the overlapping of sidebar with infinite post blocks, it also disables the smart sticky property of Sidebar. What am I missing here?

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to change the category pages, sorry! The only settings which allow you to change the style of your category pages are located in Theme panel->Category section, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WnVCfjcL8Ruo Notice that if you want to change your category pages, you should edit the category templates and insert some codes in order to achieve as you wish. As a hint, you should edit the category_top_post for style used by you and then you have to inject some PHP code with do_shortcode method, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/hHvdcCGixC8B Also, ensure that your Custom Ads contains some ads, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7Ku6Rn43 and the result you should see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/obnWcMVYJPtA After these changes, notice that you should adjust them with a bit of CSS for a better look and to get the results you want.

If you want to apply some rules for your footer section, you should edit the footer.php core file. Also, you can use the do_shortcode method for insert some ads in this regard, according to the following documentation here -> https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/do_shortcode/
Notice that is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

The tagDiv composer is not available for posts, only for the creation of pages. Also the elements you mention are not present at the moment in this editor. More options and items will be added in future updates

If you want to add a custom block to a template it has to be done from the theme code. Only pages can be built using the page builder. Other templates do not feature a builder.
