Hi,

Yes, you can achieve this on pages by using tagDiv Composer and set the row like this -> https://i.imgur.com/Xm9VUJM.jpg also we recommend to use flex blocks and flex grids also you can do the same on cloud templates, for posts you can get a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer and set the row for content as in may example, also you can set manually the width of columns -> https://i.imgur.com/StETWjr.png -> https://i.imgur.com/aqKdHiW.jpg

Hope this will help you!

Hi,

So in order to benefit from Newspaper X you’ll need to replace all the elements/blocks/templates with cloud templates, in this way the theme will load only the stile from these templates also all the blocks need to be replace with flex blocks after you change all standard elements with cloud elements you can deactivate the standard pack, after that the theme should load less style and it should become faster.

Hello,

On https://schoonmaakjournaal.nl we use flexblock 1 elements, and as you can see on the top right image (the cleaners), the image looks great.
On all other pages and posts we use a Block 1 element in a widget there – and then that same image loses sharpness, and looks somewhat blurier. For instance here:
https://schoonmaakjournaal.nl/premium/365cleanit-we-zijn-specialist-in-flexibel-en-goed-werkgeverschap/

What is happening here? Can it be corrected somehow?

Have a great New Year’s Eve and 2020!

i asked this off another thread 2 days ago and didn’t get any response, so i thought maybe i should start a new thread with my question… It is as follows:

Is it possible to edit the code behind one of the grid layouts? For example, Big Grid Flex 6 – I want to change some of the smaller images to no longer use a category, but to show a random quote/image. I have this functionality, both as a third party plugin, and as a custom PHP page I wrote (I am a programmer)… I don’t see how the TD composer can let me change a block in the grid to a 3rd party shortcode, but if I could locate the exact PHP page that writes the grid out, I could figure it out on my own…

Hello !

The layout option is only available in Flex Blocks. We recommend using those.

Thank you !

Hello !

You can achieve this by editing the author page using the tagDiv Composer. You will have to remove the original posts loop and use flex blocks, set the post type name and the author Id: https://prnt.sc/qg9pze

As you can see in our photo our custom post type name is td_book and the author iD was 1 in our case.

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !

Hi,

If you want to remove these from blocks and you are using a standard block/modules then you can use the settings from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/uP7vvwB.pngif you are using cloud elements like flex blocks then you’ll need to edit the page/template using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/0rMBD5x.png

Hi.

If i open TagDiv Composer on my Homepage and edit it, save it. That’s fine.
Then, I go to my Pages, open ‘Contact’ page, and any changes i make to Contact via TagDiv Composer affect my homepage?

If i, for example, take away a flex block while editing Contact, my homepage’s flex block will disappear too?

Why is TagDiv composer editing every page as one rather than let me have a different look for each page? Simply put, editing random pages is also altering my static homepage.

Thanks

Hello !

In order to switch from standard pack to the new layouts you will have to do some design adjustments.

First of all we recommend you creating a backup of your website !

You can try, deactivate the Standard pack and see what elements are left in your composer. You may see many shortcodes but don’t worry, that is normal.

Deactivating standard pack means that all the functionality from theme panel will be moved in the tagDiv Composer, so basically the theme panel will have only 2-3 functions. Everything you want to customize you will have to do it via tagDiv Composer.

You can either install a pro demo ( which will apply all the necessary templates ) or install the templates one by one.

For Pages / Footer Page:

First step to set up your new page is to go into Cloud Library – Add New, choose the design you want and import it into your theme. In order to edit your template you will have to go into Pages – Choose the page and select “ Edit with TD-Composer

If you want to use your own page design and not import a new one, you will need to replicate your existing blocks with the new flex block elements replacing the old blocks and grids. There are many block designs available already created with the new implementation so you do not need to start from scratch, You can find theme here: https://www.screencast.com/t/qShqAhycqqBW . All of the Standard Pack elements can be replicated using the new Flex Blocks and Grids.

For the Header, 404 Page, Attachment Template, Author, Category, Date, Search, Single Post and Tag templates:

First step to set up your Tag template is to go into Cloud Library – Add New, choose the design you want and import it into your theme. In order to edit your template you will have to go into Cloud Template – All Templates – Hover over Header Template and select Edit Template

I personally would recommend you to create a localhost or a test site where you can activate your theme and start making the modifications there first so you won’t face issues on your live site.

I hope this was more helpful !

Thank you !

Thanks for your response.

is there the possibility you tweak a little the ADS system so we can use it instead of the Ad Inserter plugin?

Now in the Single Page cloud template, in the Single Post Content, we can use the ADS tab section, but it allows only 3 Inline ADS … we may need at least 7 or 8 inline ads. Also one ad after post title ( but just for mobile devices ).

We run very very busy websites and we need more flexibility on the Advertising.

Can you do that custom work for us and incorporate it to the template?

Hiding duplicated ads with CSS is not an option bc calls to the adserver will be duplicated killing our resources.

Hi,

Sorry, this option is not available on blocks and flex blocks, only inside the posts, if you realy need it, then you can use a custom css like this one -> https://i.imgur.com/TvdgWvT.png
.page .td-post-author-name:before {
content: "By ";
}

The code need to be set in theme panel> custom code> custom css.

Thank you for your understanding!

Dear TagDiv,
I disabled Google fonts. Why family of Montserrat is loaded?

</style><div class=”wpb_wrapper”><div class=”td_block_wrap tdb_header_logo tdi_10_779 td-pb-border-top td_block_template_1 tdb-header-align” data-td-block-uid=”tdi_10_779″>

@import url(“https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Montserrat:400,300,300italic|Open+Sans:300italic,400,400italic,600,600italic,700,300|Roboto:300,400,400italic,500,500italic,700,900,300italic&display=swap”);
@import url(“https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:300,400,400italic,500,500italic,700,900,300italic|Open+Sans:300italic,400,400italic,600,600italic,700,300&display=swap”);
.tdi_10_779 .tdb-logo-a,
.tdi_10_779 h1{
flex-direction: row;

align-items: center;

justify-content: center;
}.tdi_10_779 .tdb-logo-svg-wrap{
display: block;
}.tdi_10_779 .tdb-logo-img-wrap{
display: none;
}.tdi_10_779 .tdb-logo-text-tagline{
margin-top: -3px;
margin-left: 0;

font-family:Montserrat !important;;
}.tdi_10_779 .tdb-logo-text-wrap{

}.tdi_10_779 .tdb-logo-icon{
top: 0px;

display: block;
}.tdi_10_779 .tdb-logo-text-title{

}

There is mention that “The theme comes with two preset default Google Fonts: Open Sans and Roboto.”. How can I make one of them default one?

Thanks
