Hi,
That secondary menu is actually made of buttons in the page content, so it is not part of the menu. These buttons will appear only in the homepage. At the time of making the demo the header builder/manager was not yet available.
But now you can do that. Import the cloud fast news header in the cloud library section
– http://prntscr.com/mswwwm
Add a header menu element in it – http://prntscr.com/mswxac and save it. Then set it globally in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/mswxnp
The header style will then appear for the whole website.
Thanks
hello, I did the update to version 9.5 but I do not see the function “Header Manager button” in tagDiv Composer…
The new header composer function looks very useful in 9.5. However, I cannot see how to switch out the old header, which I set up with the Theme Panel, and replace it with a new header, created with TD Composer. I have imported a Cloud template (#38) via the TD Composer Header Manager, and set the Cloud Library Theme in the header section of the Theme panel to that template. The Theme Panel Header Options disappear when I do that, which looks encouraging, but when I go to TD composer, both headers are now there, instead of just the new Header theme #38. On viewing the page, only the new header is visible, but the sticky menu and search functions don’t work , presumably because of a clash between the two header functions.
How do I turn the old header off so it is not visible, and doesn’t conflict with the Header Composer built one? And how do I ensure that I can get it back in case the new function isn’t satisfactory?
Hi,
Could you please explain me how to adjust header logo.
I’ve issue with location. Due to menu logo has been moved up https://yadi.sk/i/Snn60BZBbH4alg
I want to put it down inline with menu. Several times I’ve tried to change logo’d parameters (reduce logo), but it doesn’t work https://yadi.sk/i/L6vxIMhUisbuoQ
I tried used Header manager, but the Global template (my current header template) it can’t be adjust in HM.
Could you please clarify how to adjust logo in header with Global template.
Hi Calin,
Unfortunately, the navigation created by the Header manager does not have the option to Smart snap. I would prefer to use Smart snap than the sticky header. I will just continue to use the Advanced CSS workaround until either Smart snap becomes available or the setting to hide the search button is fixed.
Thank you.
Hi – I have the same question as Jeanne. Would you please answer it?
“I want to create one type of header for my homepage and another type of header for all my posts.” either through the new Header manager or the old theme options.
And a second question, how do you use the new Header Manager on posts?
Thanks.
Hi team,
New header manager is great – but I’m having trouble using parts of it, as below:
1) The header logo element is not picking up the URL I use to link the media. It only uses the default logo. I;ve tried deleting the default logo and then it shows no logo. I want different logos on the main header as opposed to sticky header but this element doesn’t seem to work properly.
2) When I use one of your Cloud headers, my posts and pages don’t seem to notice it;s there and and all the page content sits up under the header. I’ve had to go an add 160px empty space to the top of my category templates, but whenI realised this is site wide – I thought this can’t be reasonable. Why are all my pages and posts not recognising the new header? Make sense?
Site is wnihp.com.au
Thanks!
Hello,
Please use the header manager as it now offers controls for the sticky menu separately from the main menu: https://www.screencast.com/t/on9xyoRrvT
Thank you!
Hello,
You can use the new header manager to create custom headers or import pre-made ones from the cloud library templates.
Please read this guide: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
Thank you!
Hello,
The header manager works fine. There is nothing to fix from our side. Please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate why you cannot use the header manager. Please also include a link to this conversation so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Any idea when the header builder will be fixed? I was testing it out on my newspaper theme powered site and as soon as I imported a header template and tried to add something to it (I didn’t even save it in TD composer) it would make the page I placed it on not render and would just timeout. The way I fixed the issue so I could load my original header (not the one from the cloud library header manager) was to remove the “tdc_header_template_id” custom field value from the page in the wp backend and then update the page there. It then reverts back to load the page on the front-end fine but with my site’s original (non header manager built) header.
Ok i delete par FT the TDaddiv librairy cloud. I install again et nox it is ok . I have now header manager in tagdiv composer
thanks
So that way it works, you could do it like that. Import the header styles and save them, then load them up in the desired pages. They will appear in the header manager and in the global settings.
There are currently some issues we are investigating with the header manager and new header settings, or caused by them. There should be an update released when they are fixed.
With the new header builder and manager you can add any available element from the composer in the header. To add elements in the sticky header you have to first activate the sticky mode – http://prntscr.com/mok3vg
Then add the elements you want in the sticky header.
Hi,
I installed the new update for the theme including new plugins for the tagdiv composer.
I would like to use the header manager, and when the header import template pops up I can choose between global and no template, when I choose global and hit import I get the cloud library which shows up empty…
any ideas how I can resolve this or what I might have done wrong ?
Hi,
You can achieve that using the new header builder
-> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
If you want to have the header that you create set global to all post/pages … you need to set it from theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bZYGcjg7KRD
Thank you!
Hi,
Maybe the cloud library is installed but not active – http://prntscr.com/moim6y
Check if that is the case.
Or delete the plugin manually from the plugins folder by FTP or cPanel file manager, then install it again. Only when the cloud library plugin is active will the header builder elements and header manager be available.
Thanks
/home/typovisisx/www/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/
merci de votre aide
Hi,
Unfortunately in v9.5 the empty page template has been removed, now you can remove the header per page, using the header manager. An option will be added for the footer. If you require it, you can download it from here – http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/page-empty.zip
Place it in the main theme folder, upload it by FTP for example
– http://prntscr.com/mo17zp
Then select it for the pages you want. The footer will be removed and the header can be disabled
– http://prntscr.com/mo17bw
Thank you!
Hi Simion,
this did the job, it works great …. however: HEADER MANAGER doesn’t work on Safari for MacOS, it’s not ‘orange’ and when pressing nothing happens. If I use Chrome for MacOS it does work.
Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?
Kind regards,
Marcel.
Indeed, the empty page template has been removed, now you can remove the header per page, using the header manager. An option will be added for the footer. If you require it, you can download it from here – http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/page-empty.zip

Then select it for the pages you want. The footer will be removed and the header can be disabled

Editing the revolution slider blank template with the composer will cause problems. That would be useful if you wish to display only a slider provided by the plugin, by entering it’s shortcode in the page content, in the backend – http://prntscr.com/mo18vk
Sorry for the inconvenience.
The plugin is active, but I still cannot edit anything from the header, if it’s not imported via this new Header Manager.
From what I know Bogdan re-added the empty page template which should now work as before, a test page here – https://desdelaraiz.com/tagtiv-test-page-landing-page/
So for the pages you want to have no header and footer, edit them and set that page template. You can remove the header from the header manager section in the composer.
Hi,
There are currently some issues we are investigating with the cloud header builder and manager.
It would be helpful if you could provide detailed steps describing what exactly you did before the issue happened. We will try and recreate the issue on our end. Please let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
Try to use the Header builder to customize your header/logo section as you wish. Please check our documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
Thanks.
