I’m currently facing an issue with adding a favicon to my site. When I insert the following code into the header.php section of the Newspaper theme file editor:

the code gets removed after each official update of the Newspaper theme. I believe creating a child theme might resolve this issue.

From what I noticed, we can select languages for the homepage so we were able to translate it properly.

However, for articles template or even header, when clicking on edit, we cannot modify the language as this section doesn’t appear.

And this is only a focus on translation.

We still have this issue with categories and way to filter it… which means we have 4 issues to solve at the moment:

1. translation issues
2. an error message ONLY on top of category pages (categories are not translated)
3. an issue displaying articles from one category even by applying the correct filters
4. a question on how to display subcategories/sort by subcategories instead of primary category

When do you think you will be able to check on our website for this category topic?

Because I tried to duplicate single page template or even header and we cannot change the language affected to the template which means we have element we cannot edit on our articles pages or even header…

After pasting the code from the old website’s header into the new website’s header, I was no longer able to open it for editing in tagDiv Composer builder, it continues to load but does not open.

When opening the pages, the new template does not load either.

Also let me correct my second response. I tried two different methods of import/export. First I tried using the Theme Panel “Export/Import”. When I did this, thats when I got different font sizes, headers would be missing etc. The second method I used was the one you mentioned above. Using WordPress composer and copying that code and pasting it. Thats when I got the broken images etc as you see in the image.

I deleted the object cache plugin. I deactivated wp rocket and deleted the indicated files, including the one generated by wp rocket, but I still can’t change the header.

Hi, I did upload a much larger image and followed your instructions. No matter what I do, it stays that same small size. Is there any way you can help?

I also have a very large text logo on header and footer that I can only see on scrolling. I’m not sure why or how to get rid of those.

Also we have reinstalled all TagDiv plugins and we also noticed that the problem persists for all elements that reuire to select a photo (Header logo-> Logo Image, )

I use WP Rocket. I tested it by deactivating the plugin and it didn’t work. I also deactivated Object Cache Pro and it didn’t work either.

Yes, I’m changing the header in the Website Manager. I change it, save the page and the message that the header was saved successfully appears, but when I open the Website Manager again, it doesn’t change.

The difference in behavior from other domains where I have the template is that when I choose the new header, there is no update on the page, while on other sites the page already shows the update.

Found it – setting was in Theme Colors > Header section of Newspaper Theme Panel.

I’ve created this custom CSS to get there…

Now I need to figure out how to add some padding underneath the header …

I’ve had a play about and it appears to be linked to the SVG setting in the header.
I edit and HIDE the SVG, but when I save it, it goes back to showing it again, while the logos are deleted.
It doesn’t matter if I clear the cache, turn mobile/AMP on or off, it is just stubbornly resetting itself and displaying the SVG logo.

Have tried some custom CSS to remove it – same result.

I think it’s the span.tdb-logo-svg-wrap and span.tdb-logo-text-wrap elements that need to be hidden. If I delete their lines from Google’s code inspector panel, the logo displays as it should do.

My knowledge of CSS is very, very small, so I cannot figure out how to make the changes stick.
Adding
