Since I installed your the I’ve been getting a lot of this error message:
FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /public/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/index.php:6
Additionally I noticed a big CPU load.
We use nginx.

You CSS code works well for for desktop, but iPad still suffers from the overwrite problem.
Tried to extend the header with header-menu-stretch – but did not resolve on iPad

I just updated the Yoast SEO plugin to version 7.5.1. But now I receive a php error:

Unfortunately the site is no longer working when the plugin is activated.

BUT, i have tried to disable “Wp-Rocket” and the problem solve! So, it’s an incompatibility between the latest version of Wp-Rocket and Newspaper 7.7
What can i do now? 🙂

Hi,
I have created a clone of my live website called “beta” so I can update there the theme to version 8.7.4 (live website is still at version 8.0).
The problem is that, while the beta website is loading, the header elements seems to read some other CSS and, after a couple of seconds, reads the appropriate CSS.
However, during these seconds, the header seems ugly and it is the first impression a user gets.
This is something that doen’t happens to live version.

1. That will be the case. Post template 11 related articles section is displayed in a full row. Note that the related articles count works like this, when there is no sidebar used or in case of using this post template that you mention (wider layout) the count will be 5 posts/row

So in this case 2 rows mean 10 posts. If you use a sidebar for example there will be 3 posts/row.
2. If you mean the block header style, there is only one setting for it. The general setting in the theme panel. However after coming updates, this could be possible.

Adding a height or a negative margin-bottom to the last element of the footer causes this issue with anchors.

6. I don’t understand. There is specific setting for the column title font in the theme panel, for multipurpose shortcodes.
Normally, from the Theme Panel > Multipurpose > Fonts > Titles, we can choose the default font, default size, default line-height, default style, default weight, default transform for XXSMALL, XSMALL UPPERCASE, SMALL, MEDIUM, BIG titles ; that applies to the whole website.
I am sure it is a problem of the theme.. because I can change the default font-size of XXSMALL, XSMALL UPPERCASE, SMALL and MEDIUM titles from the theme panel.. I have a problem just with big titles. It is not a big issue, but I just wanted to mention it to improve your theme. 🙂

Intr-adevar putem conversa si in romana in continuare. Dar este de preferat in engleza, deoarece respunsurile date si uneori solutii pot fi gasite si intelese de ceilalti useri pe forum.
Sunt foarte multe topicuri in acest forum, multe probleme sau intrebari legate de tema sau WordPRess in general pot fi rezolvate cu un simplu search.
Referitor la intrebarea legata de header, in acest moment asa ceva nu este posibil. Acelasi header va fi prezent pe tot site-ul (pagini, categorii, posturi etc.).
In update-uri ce vor veni se vor adauga un numar considerabil de noi optiuni si setari.
Este luata in considerare si aceasta posibilitate. Dar pentru moment nu este posibil.

3. Fonts may not look the same on all browsers or OS. maybe try to use fonts that look similar across all browsers

6. Change the font of the columns title in the composer. There is no specific setting for the column title font in the theme panel. Use any size you want and be sure to specify units (pixel or other)

The logo seems to not be limited when in sticky mode. Tried to reproduce this using same header style and big logo, and it is limited in my case.
In your case the max-width limit is not applying for some reason, it should be like this

1) For Video Post 11, the related articles are showing two rows for a toal of 10 articles. Also, for Post Style 11, is it possible to have the video in lightbox option when clicked because the video is smaller using this style
How do I get one row only showing 5 across?
2) Is it possible to customize headers per post. For example if I am using post syles 3,6,7,10,11 having my default header style set to header 5, then those post styles do not look great.

– pana acum toate posturile le-am facut in romana si raspunsurile au fost in romana fara ca cineva sa specifice altceva (puteti sa verificati)
– in al doilea rand am incercat sa citesc undeva regulilele forumului si pana acum nu am gasit nici o mentiune legata de limba oficiala. In pagina de interes pentru noi https://forum.tagdiv.com/forum/newspaper/ nu este nici un sticky post care sa stipuleze asa ceva

The attached screen shot of nysubway.com home page shows how the logo overwrites the menu if you scroll down the page and then back up again. Seems to be a problem on every browser, desktop and mobile. Thanks in advance for the help

This setting is for the background of the menu item or line below it, depending on header style used. The text color of the menu item will not change, some demos can contain customization for the menu. Like the gadgets demo which uses header style 5 with custom design for it
