I made temp test homepage with only problems that i run on, both for point 1 and point 3.
In main area, since i used visual composer, its not big deal to center elements in each of those 3 columns. I know, for any position i can use Design Option inside visual composer, which includes height. Also, i can manipulate height with empty objects. But, i was wondering is there option or css command for Custom CSS option in newspaper theme, to align all 3 columns by height? Now they are all by default stick to up to upper margin, or max vertical height, so is there also possibility for vertically center?
For footer i dont know what to do, as i cant see that visual composer cover this part. So, i used theme for footer, put these 3 elements, and now again i have problem with default horizontal alignment. Now it is default left alignment, and i need or center or option to control alignment for each column.

Hey! I’m currently designing truchie.com, it’s gonna be a news portal. I’m a beginner in this wordpress designing world, and I want to remove the author from every single post. I don’t want the author of the entry to appear in the title of the homepage neither in the post page.

Now, I have for example the homepage with there categories on the posts. Labeled with just a name; Travel, Flights, Holidays.
But, as I have in my menubar, I want to have this with just an icon on the home page in my posts.
For my menubar I use this code : <i class=”fa fa-plane” aria-hidden=”true”></i>Vluchten to show an airplane with the menu name: Flights (vluchten = Dutch)
But I cant find how to do it. If I past the exact same code in the categories, it only shows the text. Not the codes anymore.

The option is found when you edit a page in visual composer. Please edit your homepage and press the little pencil icon from the first row as the screenshot above shows http://screencast.com/t/p1ZTlcTXLy
You will have to learn to edit pages if you are to use the theme on your site. Please try to learn how you can edit pages in wordpress and add content in visual composer and use the plugin settings as well as the block settings. I’ve noticed, my theme is creating problem that happens automatically. It shows the mobile version on desktop. Sometimes it shows the mobile version on homepage ‘tycoonzfitness.com’ and sometimes this thing applies on individual post. However, I didn’t make any change. But as I login to wp admin of my website. The problem looks solved but after 3 to 4 hours problem raised again. I’m really worried about it. My theme is updated. I’m using w3 total cache plugin.

I guess that you want to have the same sidebar for both pages -> on the homepage and for single post page, right? I have inspected your website and I saw that the sidebar for your homepage is manually created element by element. So, if you want to have the Default Sidebar active inside your homepage, please notice that you should remove the actual sidebar and use the Widgetized Sidebar, element from Visual Composer and select from there the Default Sidebar, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/kut08TOzJn

I tried to follow the guidelines and answers on this subject but I could not find a solution.
My problem is the following: I defined my homepage which uses a mix of big grid boxes (as in the theme examples btw).
The posts that I made have all featured images which are big enough to be displayed in any kind of blocks; and all the necessary thumb size are enabled in the theme panel.
example: Big Grid 5 requires 356×220 pics and the post has a featured image 452×600
only a grey area is displayed
I tried to play with thumbnail regenerate tool … no way
My homepage uses different blocks which are all displayed in same way some are either in grey, other in background color (white)
Probably I missed something.

Is visual composoer necessary? Or slider revolution? Both are providing updates (not free)?
How to Build an own slider/carousel for every page and implement it into the pages, above the posts? With Pics, framesize like in travel-blog or full size, or post size?

The homepage post will show the post you want if you add the right id in it;s block settings
If this does not change instantly, it probably means you have caching enabled or a cdn server or both. In this case you need to clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it in order to see the results instantly.

Our theme has no such option unfortunately. The menu cannot be removed from the page using the theme settings. If you want to create a new menu you will have to use a plugin or create it in revolution slider as the site you mention. The main header area can be hidden from the homepage using a simple css trick:

Please read the mobile theme guide posted above to learn how the mobile theme works. There will be a few changes on the mobile theme as it was built for speed. It will convert your homepage, posts, categories, etc…to the fastest possible layout.

When running my homepage on standard http://some1spc.com the mobile and desktop theme work perfectly. After having many issues with stripe declining credit cards due to no HTTPS setup on my website we needed to implement it. Now after being implemented the mobile theme does not allow users to login/join. Is there a fix for this?

This method seems to be the working one: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16165211/how-to-set-a-different-static-homepage-for-mobile-version-wordpress bvut we cannot guarantee it works as it is not tested. There a re multiple parts of code and editing you have to make in the theme rather than a simple copy and paste. Follow the link and read it carefully as there are explicit instruction to where the code goes and what you should include in the root of the theme.
If you cannot do it, we suggest hiring a freelancer to help out as this represents customization adn we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.
