Hi,
We are not able to edit the home page content on tagdiv composer, but are able to edit the article and review pages content with composer.

We are getting – Server Error
500
Internal Server Error

Error box says – Layout sync error in Content
The editor expects 6 zones but the page is rendering 0. Usually caused by an unclosed HTML tag in a text block (e.g. <div> without </div>). View page Undo (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z) to restore.

We checked the code with AI, and there are no unclosed HTML blocks.

We have tried to disable all plugins except tag divs, that did not work.
It is working fine on our other website, though. Maybe some code issue here.

Cannot understand the problem; it works on one page and does not work on home page.

Do help.

Thanks

Okay, but why is Google showing a date on the homepage specifically? I also use the Yoast SEO plugin on my other websites, and their homepages do not display a date in Google search results.

Hi,

The logos must be changed with the composer https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/

So for example if you edit the homepage with the composer -> https://prnt.sc/ZGIbsCY7sfgP and click on the logo, you can remove the default demo text logo -> https://prnt.sc/wUaH5M_BUiU0 and set your own. You can use a text logo, or an image logo, or a SVG.

Or is there a problem with the composer? You mentioned that it isn’t working. If the composer isn’t working on your website, I will take a look at the issue. In this case you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for the website, and I will investigate as soon as possible.

Thank you!

And here are a few example blog pages you can review for reference. Of course, you can inspect any page on the website, but my primary concern is specifically the loading speed and performance of the blog pages.

Examples:

https://product-wiki.com/12-tips-how-to-stop-doomscrolling-on-social-media-easiest-way/

https://product-wiki.com/what-is-google-gemini-omni-ai-how-to-use-it/

https://product-wiki.com/itel-a100-pro-full-specifications-price-in-india-battery-performance-features-camera/

I’m mainly trying to make the blog pages load as fast as possible because that is where the majority of the traffic lands from search engines. Even if the homepage or some other sections are slightly heavy, that is still manageable for me. But the blog pages should ideally be lightweight and extremely fast.

So if possible, could you please suggest some practical changes or optimizations that might genuinely help improve the speed? If required, I can also share the list of plugins, cache settings, optimization setup, or anything else that may help in debugging the issue.

Please do let me know if you need anything from my side.

Hey, first of all, thank you so much for reaching out. I really appreciate your help.

But this concern is not regarding my older website, Product Strategies. It is actually regarding my new live website, Product-Wiki.com. Here’s the website URL: https://product-wiki.com/

The main issue is specifically with the blog pages. Honestly, the homepage performance is not a major concern because most traffic directly lands on blogs through search. So my focus is mainly on improving the loading speed and performance of the blog pages.

I have already tried multiple optimizations from my end, including image compression, reducing the first-load image size, lazy loading, caching tools, and several other performance tweaks. But somehow the pages still feel slow and heavy.

So if possible, could you please have a look and suggest some improvements? Maybe there are theme-level issues, unnecessary scripts, CSS/JS loading problems, or other optimizations that I might be missing. Any help in reducing the overall page weight and improving loading speed would genuinely help me a lot.

Thanks again.

I need some guidance on the homepage; please understand this. Regarding glostv.com (desktop), the mobile version is currently https://glostv.com/glostv-assistir-tv-online-ao-vivo-gratis, but when accessing glostv.com via mobile, the mobile version https://glostv.com/glostv-assistir-tv-online-ao-vivo-gratis doesn’t appear. Should I change the URL? Create another page with name 1 or 2? What is your recommendation for the mobile homepage? I need a clear answer on this. Another question: where is Calin? Did he leave the forum?

Hi,

The publish date and the modified date are loaded by Yoast https://prnt.sc/CBkav9yy22d8 and from what I see there’s no option within the plugin to disable them specifically. At least that’s what I’m finding in such topics https://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-datemodified-and-datepublished-schema/

I searched more and it looks like there is a way to remove the dates from the schema that Yoast loads https://stackoverflow.com/questions/66806184/remove-datepublished-and-datemodified-from-yoast-seo-plugin-generated-article-sc

For me this code from here worked -> https://pastebin.com/rPRpfdvd I added it in the theme functions file, but it can be loaded with a code plugin as well. You could try it if disabling those dates for the homepage is what you want to do.

The results may vary. Either the date will disappear from the search results page after some time, or Google may try to find a different date in the code of the page and display that one. This last possibility may be worse, as it could just display random date from the page if there is one.

Thank you!

Hello,

I’m having an issue with how my homepage appears in Google search results while using the Newspaper theme.

Google is automatically showing a date label like “4 days ago —” before my homepage meta description/snippet.

Since my homepage is not a news article, I do not want any date information to appear there.

Could this be caused by Newspaper theme schema markup, article metadata, or structured data settings? How can I prevent Google from showing the “4 days ago —” label before the homepage snippet?

Thanks.

Hello,
I’m experiencing a layout sync error in the Header, specifically in column 1 of row 1.

Error message:
“Layout sync error in Header, column 1 of row 1. The editor expects 1 block but the page is rendering 3. Usually caused by an unclosed HTML tag in a text block (e.g. without ).”

I have already checked the content but I’m unable to resolve. I have also tried several methods to resolve the issue (including reviewing the HTML, undoing recent changes, and checking the layout structure), but the problem persists.

The issue only appears in homepage and prevents me from editing the layout correctly.

Additionally, Google has not been indexing the homepage or the articles since this issue started

Could you please help me identify where the extra blocks are coming from or how to fix the mismatch between the editor and the rendered page?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Kind regards
Antonella

You misinterpreted it, because what happens in practice is not the way you said before. In practice, it happens like this, I’ll give an example showing it in practice.

The normal URL without a mobile page is this: https://glostv.com/estados. However, when I create a separate page for mobile to customize it using the Dav Composer, it asks for a name. I put “estados” (states), and the URL changes to https://glostv.com/estados-2 on mobile. The same thing happens with the homepage. The problem with the homepage is that I have to put a name, and that name goes to the page’s URL. Do you understand? I need to know the right way to do this. This can’t happen, changing the URL when creating a mobile version. Understand that it really can’t. This is confusing; Google indexes both the mobile version and the desktop version, and this all gets messed up. You need to talk to the theme owner who created this logic and developed this to find out what the logic is, the solution to all this, and if they will release an update to fix this.

Hi,

Not sure what you are doing there exactly. Are you setting the mobile page as the homepage for the website? Why exactly are you doing that?

The way it works is like this. You have a desktop page which is used as the homepage. You create a mobile page for it, which is basically a regular page.

When you set the mobile page for the desktop page, the theme displays the content from that mobile page on mobile. Nothing else has to be done. The URLs are not changing. The theme doesn’t actually load that mobile page in the browser via it’s link, it uses the content from it. I don’t think this is a mess, it’s quite easy to use.

Or am I misunderstanding the problem?

Thank you!

@Calin, I need all URLs to be the same, both the desktop and the mobile-created versions. For example, my homepage is https://glostv.com/, but the mobile-customized page has a URL like this: https://glostv.com/glostv-assistir-tv-online-ao-vivo-gratis. I can’t remove “glostv-assistir-tv-online-ao-vivo-gratis” and leave only https://glostv.com/ because when someone accesses glostv.com on their phone, they go to the desktop version, not the custom version https://glostv.com/glostv-assistir-tv-online-ao-vivo-gratis. I need to make glostv.com the same on both. What’s the secret? I’ve looked everywhere and haven’t found it. What’s the right way to make this the same? Would doing this allow me to do it with other pages as well? This needs fixing, it’s a mess. I haven’t finished customizing a professional mobile page because of this mess. It’s like this: https://ibb.co/7JQhH5rh. Can you help me match the URLs of the two? What’s the right way to do that?

There’s a layout issue with the articles on my blog’s homepage (https://1xbet.study/) and list page (https://1xbet.study/strategy/). They’re misaligned. Where can I adjust this? Is it because your theme template (blog_classic_pro) is more friendly to English text and has poor support for Traditional Chinese? Please provide a solution. Thank you.

When Posting a new article it posts ok to the homepage, however when you click on the article, it will display half of the entire homepage before getting to the article. If I try to delete all the homepage info from the post page in Tag Div, it deletes it from the homepage as well

Also when clicking on an article, the first half of the homepage is showing before the article comes up

Hi,

The mobile theme is optional, use it only if you want to. The mobile theme has it’s own homepage, header, footer, post template, category template etc. These are created to be as simple as possible. All the available settings for the mobile theme are in the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Everything is supposed to change after you activated it, it should look as presented here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ But if you want to use the mobile theme and there are design problems, I can check as well. Let me know.

This is the logo I see on your website on desktop -> https://prnt.sc/qoEBatFN4683
And on mobile -> https://prnt.sc/LiFBcobZB4wc

The desktop logo and the mobile logo are independent from each other, so they can be different. The logos are set in the composer like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/

Thank you!

I turned off tagDiv Mobile Theme, since I couldn’t controll the styles of homepage index – is it possible.

Without the plugin I cannot control the mobile logo. It either takes the Retina logo (I have conflict, because I need black for desktop and white for Mobile). Still cant find the place where i can edit this file https://iberix.pl/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/np10blue-white.png, which is preloaded for mobile version.

Another question: how could I edit the intex of articles on mobile version using tagDiv Mobile Theme. When I turn on the plugin the grid changes and the images of the articles are distorted.

my site’s iberix.pl

Hi,

Please check the mobile theme guide carefully -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ Pages behave in a special way when the mobile theme is active.

The settings for the mobile theme are in the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

When the mobile theme is active each page requires adding content in a mobile editor. So if you edit a page normally in the backend -> https://prnt.sc/0qqKUP1JHP2J and you scroll down, there should be a mobile editor section -> https://prnt.sc/MERKIYr-4iM5 That’s the content the page will display on mobile.

The purpose of the mobile theme is performance. That’s why it has it’s own homepage, post template, category template, header, footer, etc. and it’s own section for adding page content. If it would just display the desktop content then it would have no purpose.

And as a note, the mobile theme is an optional plugin. Sometimes with some decent caching and optimization you can simply not use it and use the responsive version.

Thank you!

Hello,
I recently updated my Newsmag theme to the latest version to patch a security vulnerability. However, the td-cloud-library plugin is completely missing from my Newsmag Plugins installation panel.

My homepage relies on flex blocks (specifically [td_block_big_grid_fl_5]), so my layout is currently broken and just displaying the shortcode text.

Could you please provide the secure, updated td-cloud-library.zip file so I can install it manually and restore my homepage?

Thank you!

We still use the prebuild version of NEWS HUB PRO, but the sharers for Facebook and WhatsApp don’t work correct.
https://megnews.de/ukraine-is-pushing-for-eu-membership-but-what-are-the-real-chances/
In WhatsApp the Homepage-Icon appears instead of the picture of the article
In Facebook either the text nor the picture appears.

I have deactivated all plugins except the four tagDiv plugins, namely tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Mobile Theme, and tagDiv Opt-In Builder (see screenshot: [https://prnt.sc/WBSe10lJObBx](https://prnt.sc/WBSe10lJObBx)).

Despite this, the homepage still takes nearly 60 seconds to load.

From my observations, the slowdown only occurs when an admin is logged into the WordPress dashboard and opens the homepage in the same browser. The issue is consistent across browsers, as long as the admin session and the homepage are accessed within the same browser. Once the admin logs out, the homepage loads very quickly.

Similarly, the website loads fast on any browser where no admin is logged in.

There is also a related issue during publishing. When attempting to publish a post, the process is often slow, with the loading indicator continuing for an extended period, and sometimes ending in an error message. However, after refreshing the page, the post appears to have been successfully published.

You likely experienced the same issue some time back on this thread because you were logged into the WordPress admin and accessed the homepage using the same browser session.

This situation has significantly affected our workflow.

Please investigate this and advise on a solution.

Thank you for your continued support.

Hi,

I think that’s an image box section from our Artist demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_artist_pro/

Normally an image info box doesn’t look like that, our designers used a bit of CSS to position the description more to the bottom. If you edit your homepage with the composer, there will be a Raw CSS element here below the boxes https://prnt.sc/QVTAjWZ3jcJK Since this was built a long time ago, sometimes there can be conflicts with modifications we make in the theme in updates.

No worries however, that code can be adjusted to achieve the same look. Please remove it and add the one from here -> https://pastebin.com/11MJ9dm9

The result should be like this https://prnt.sc/e6iF21snjd5s

In case there are any problems let me know.

Thank you!

Under Free News lay out – Homepage – selecting the top left block – My understanding is under filter there is supposed to be an option to prevent duplicate content from showing. Not seeing that option under the Filter section.

Also – since it is a Cloud Template – the option to edit the page and have it show no duplicate content isn’t available either.
