Hi,

Using header styles 9,10 or 11 a text logo and tagline can be set, but this will replace any uploaded image logo. Both cannot be displayed at the same time.

You could use an image logo and add the text like in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/adding-a-text-under-logo/

Thanks

Hi,
On our site, when you scroll down, the sticky menu pops up and pushes a few menu items into a second row beneath the rest of the items. Is there a way to get around this? Perhaps putting the logo above the menu items?

How can I use both the Logo and Text Name of my Website?

Saikological

Your the best! Thanks a lot; perfect help 😉

An additional question if i may:

1. How do i reduce the remove the space between the logo and the subfooter? I want to reduce general height of the footer slightly, make it more compact. Is this possible?

2. Can i put a “|” between the menu items in the subfooter?

please see screen in link, for exactly what i mean.

Hi,

It would be possible, the easiest way would be with CSS code. That is the homepage, so a code like this will remove the logo only in it
https://www.screencast.com/t/zUffsTNpnw2
This is the code, it can be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS section

.home .td-header-style-9 .td-logo-wrap-full {
display: none;
}

Thanks

Why my logo is not showing in footer area?

hmmm,
yes, use SVG images not secure if you use SVG from a third-party resource, and yes I use a small plugin to enable SVG support 🙂
If you use own SVG built yourself its safe like regular raster images.

in this case, will be great have an option for custom logo specially for AMP pages

Hi,

The logo will be displayed as you upload it. If the logo would be round originally, it would be displayed round. Or you could try and make it round with some CSS. Like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/Kg46HEuYolI

Codes for the mobile theme have to be entered in Theme panel->Mobile theme>Custom CSS code
.td-footer-logo img {
border-radius: 50% !important;
}

Thanks

Hello,

I’m using the mobile theme. I want to make the logo on the footer round (like on my desktop version: http://prntscr.com/jqc65v)
Now it’s like this: http://prntscr.com/jqc5sd

I’m trying to find the CSS class for the logo, but I don’t find any want to look on the desktop the mobile theme version (in the chrome inspect and all the responsive generators websites, shows the responsive theme without the mobile theme active).

Can you help me to find how to make the round logo?

THanks

This is how I see it now. You removed the customization that you previously tried in order to apply a header background image.
Now you used the image as logohttps://www.screencast.com/t/rchSlF7S0F
The image is responsive on all devices. I don’t know what else you want to do with the header. Maybe if you could explain again what you want to do further, I would be able to help you.

Hi Simion,

Ok so I am still having difficulties. I don’t know what is happening here at all. I have tried to remove all possible CSS associated with the header as per last post –

I have deleted all possible CSS associated with this (I think) but it must be hiding somewhere. I checked 3 places 1. Live CSS, 2. Theme Panel Custom CSS, 3. Customizer CSS. When I use the google inspector tool it the CSS class is included in a file called (index):

This is what I am currently looking at https://snag.gy/8M16Oc.jpg

Everything was working ok expect for the background image CSS that wouldn’t go away (and still won’t)

This is the website – https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/

Anywhere else I should be looking?

Thanks

Hi Simion,

I have tried what u said and I cannot achieve that.

I am using style 10. I uploaded the logo (banner) for for style 10 but it did not come out with proper resolution. Bear in mind the image that I used is 1326 x 276 here https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Childhood-Life-Logo-Background-1349-x-276.jpg

I tried uploading in the style 10 logo module you are referring to and it stretches out and loses major resolution. I tried using “Cover”, “Full Width” ect and I couldn’t get it the way I wanted.

I am afraid to undo some of the CSS I have placed in Theme Panel > Custom > CSS and on the Live CSS toolbar. Is there any way that you could have a look at this for me?

I have spent a day trying to figure this out. I would really appreciate if someone could take a look at this for me.

Thanks

Shane

Hi,

But there would be no need to do something like that. For example header styles 9, 10 or 11 you can upload any logo size you want
https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
The image used will be resized automatically when viewing the website on different devices. This is a demo which uses header style 10 and a big logo image
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_cars/
You can see how the logo resizes, on an iPad device for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/AvsiJGcL

Thanks

Hi,

I am trying to create a responsive header (logo banner).

I have created multiple dimensions of the image namely – 768 x 266 (for iPad dimensions)- https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Header-Background-with-Logo-768-x-276.jpg

And

1024 x 266 (as a second breakpoint)- https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Header-Background-with-Logo-1024-x-276.jpg

This is the CSS I used on both those image breakpoints. I hope you can understand what I am doing and I will provide my logins if you need to investigate further.

What I am trying to do is make the header as seamless (as possible) by using both those images.

CSS ——————————————————————————————————————–

@media only screen and (min-device-width: 768px) and (max-device-width: 1024px) {
.td-banner-wrap-full.td-logo-wrap-full.td-logo-mobile-loaded.td-container-wrap {
background-image: url(“https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/1024-cover-logo-the-childhood-life.png”) !important;
min-height: 276px !important;
min-width: 1024px !important;
background-size: cover;
background-position: 50% 80%;

}

}

@media only screen and (min-device-width: 768px) and (max-device-width: 769px) {
.td-banner-wrap-full.td-logo-wrap-full.td-logo-mobile-loaded.td-container-wrap {
background-image: url(“https://www.thechildhoodlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Header-Background-with-Logo-768-x-276.jpg”) !important;
min-height: 276px !important;
min-width: 768px !important;

}

}

Thanks

Hello,
I want to add a custom class inside the logo tag.
For example:
mycustomclass" href="<?php echo esc_url(home_url( '/' )); ?>">
<img class="td-retina-data mycustomclass" data-retina="<?php echo esc_attr($td_customLogoR) ? />" src="<?php echo $td_customLogo?>" alt="<?php echo $td_logo_alt ?>"<?php echo $td_logo_title ?>/>

How do I add the mycustomclass class like above without changing the file? I know I can change the code in logo.php file and use it in my child theme instead, but I’d prefer using a function code like this:

add_filter ('get_custom_logo','change_logo_class');
function change_logo_class($html)
{
$html = str_replace('class="custom-logo"', 'mycustomclass', $html);
$html = str_replace('class="custom-logo-link"', 'mycustomclass', $html);
return $html;
}

What should I change custom-logo and custom-logo-link tags with?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The theme header templates are located here
https://www.screencast.com/t/EP2obR0bEAA
The multipurpose header styles are located in the multipurpose plugin (now part of the tagDiv composer)
https://www.screencast.com/t/lI5WRtyjID6
That website also seems to be using two header logos, that is not possible in out theme.

In those files you can make changes in terms of structure. You will also most likely need to create additional design for the modified header. Note that these header styles are predefined, so creating a replica of a different website header may not be easy to do.

Thanks
