When i tried to upload a logo it doesn’t appear, and it’s there in my WordPress Media, please what’s the problem?
Caching? or whatever?

I’ve created a website in a test subdomain on my domain camperreisverslagen.nl.
I used Newspaper theme and everything looks fine on test.camperreisverslagen.nl.
To test my migration I migrated complete site and database to dev.camperreisverslagen.nl. Still looks great and experienced no problems.
However, I migrated complete site to my root-domain and now the Theme settings seems to be different as there is a mobile menu popping up on the Home Screen (dekstop). Also background images have disappeared and Header style seems to be mixed up as both Logo as Text Logo are visible.
Also on mobile the site does not work correctly.
Any idea how this can occur and how it can be solved? It’s strange that migrating to my dev subdomain does work, and to my root domain changes things.

That would be possible if you make a modification to that header template. By default the header ad in that header style is displayed below the main menu

If you were to move the code below the top menu section like this

The header ad will show below the top menu and above the logo, like here

This would be a solution to achieve a similar result as the website mentioned.

Ok, that’s what I thought.
Perhaps something for a future update? It would be great to be able to style that box a bit more. Colors / logo / etc.

Hello, i am using Header style 6 and have the option to to make the menu sticky (so that the logo sticks to the menu when scrolled down). Is there any way to use the header style i am using and still display the logo in the menu area when not scrolling?

If you use the desktop logo on affix menu it will still be resized, making it somewhat smaller. I could give you a code that will make the menu remain the same when sticky

Increasing just the logo size to normal size will not look properly, this would be a solution in this case

On mobile you can display a different logo, than on desktop. Therefore you could create a logo more optimized for mobile devices and upload that instead

Unfortunately, the theme does not have an option that allows you to increase the logo, sorry! You should use a bigger logo if you want to display a larger one.

Thanks you Bogdan. I amended that selection and chose header menu and cleared cache but the logo is still smaller on the scrollable sticky menu.
Also, any idea how I can make the logo bigger on the main header mega menu?
Did you do search/replace in your post meta to update all http links to images and whatnot to https? Update theme panel settings for logos, etc., to https? That stuff impacts moving to https a lot!

May I know how do I reduce the height of the header style 10 in ipad and mobile views?
I have been trying the solutions given in the forum but it does not seem to work for me.

Especially for mobile view, I would like to have the hamburger and search icons to be same row (aligned) with the header logo.

thanks for the reply. I am re-reading my question but can’t find where I could have given you the impression I wanted to enlarge the post content. My question was “If I make content to say 1200 (on a page), how do I enlarge the header content accordingly…?” (read a 1200 px wide header).
In fact, enlarging the page you might want to have the logo and menu in the header to be aligned with the page content. So, is there a smooth way to enlarge the header? Otherwise, the enlarging functionality seems to me pretty pointless.
(Surely once you enlarge the header, then the posts, in turn, will be not aligned, unless one can specify two different header widths for posts and pages respectively).

That header template has a predefined height (130px), it could be reduced to the actual logo height with a code like this for example

This is how the header style 11 shows the logo. It will show the exact size you upload it in.If you want the mobile logo to be contained in the top section, you will have to use a different header style.

The font size is exactly the same 13 px on both the scrolable menu and the standard menu. Only the logo is smaller and that is because you use a different size logo for your affix menu. Please select the standard logo here, not the mobile one: https://www.screencast.com/t/lkUf6H6jeKBZ

After upgrading from 7.x to 8.5, the header logo no longer displays full-size, instead it’s cropped.
I’m using header style 10 at the moment.
I’m getting this error in inspector, as well: Failed to load resource: net::ERR_INSECURE_RESPONSE for the header logo.
This is a staging site so I would have to provide you with login/pass for you to see it.

I’m using the logo at the recommended size (272×90 pixels) but in mobile display the logo is “stuck” in the elements – https://ibb.co/cQ8Gjb. How can I increase the logo padding on the mobile display?
The logo file is 3000+ px wide and displaying at 170px – 98% saving there.
There are about a doze other images with the same issue.
Get a trial copy of photoshop.
Save for web (legacy) and scale to correct size and usually about 60/100 setting.
Download Enable Media Replace plugin and swap out all the problem images with the new versions.
Site will be much faster (700kb smaller page)
