If you want to decrease the height of your header, you should use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-header-style-10 .td-logo-wrap-full .td-logo {
line-height: 70px;
}
.td-header-style-10 .td-logo-wrap-full {
min-height: 70px;
}

Curious how I would be able to add a custom larger centered header logo for the style ten header. I have a custom logo now but it is too small to read the text but the original file is of a bigger size. Can I just add in some custom html or is there anyway I could edit the header-style php file to do this.

I love Newspaper Theme, it’s really simple and nice.
The mobile menu use the main menu.
however I want to use another menu for mobile for better experience.
like different menu items, and how can i customise the mobile menu to add some html codes before and after the menu section in mobile menu? I would like to add a logo and some text before the menu items section and add a footer for the mobile menu.

I want to move the blue logo on the left close the the ‘About Us’ text and remove also remove the ‘About Us’ title block – where can I hide the files I need to change through FTP or could you provide some custom CSS please?

I am working on my site and the footer on the desktop version is easy to change but none of the changes I am applying are happening on the mobile version. I loaded the logo and on the mobile version is still shows the demo version. How can i change the information on the mobile version. The website is http://www.temeculabeat.com

Well the logo on the travel blog demo is an image so it was created in Photoshop as you can imagine. You can find the psd file for the logo in the psd folder in the main theme package.

I cam up with a work around, but would like to solve the matter correctly. I simply have entered the logo text and the tagline text directly into Newspaper\parts\header\logo-text.php lines 119 and 131.

When entering in text in the field “TEXT LOGO TAGLINE / Write a tagline for the text logo” within the theme’s panel of Newspaper 7, upon loading the pages and pulling the data, the result is backslash insertion. Same thing happens in the text logo field, too.

i want modify text in Logo Blog Travel. i dont find font name as logo Blog Travel. Help me
I cleared caches and also worked through all the menu styles. I found that the login would appear when using styles 1,3,5,7,8,10,and 11. But not 4,5,6 unless I deleted the logo image.
I’m trying to create a menu bar that’s short in height and includes the menu tabs plus the Login on one line. When the Login appears above the main menu row of text, its almost as high as including the original top menu bar.
I tried shifting the PHP login widget code after the menu code in the ‘header-menu.php’ file but it didn’t shift the login text to the right side.
I’m now testing some Login plugins to see if I can get a menu bar about 45 px high that includes a login.
I have another question related to the loading of the menu and all the site pages. When a menu tab is clicked why does the menu always flash load the default black-blue colors first, and then replace with my chosen custom colors? The menu font also goes to bold then back to the normal capitalized which I have selected in the Newspaper settings.
Also why do the pages always flash and completely reload when each new pages is opened?. It seems that some pre-loading is required or there’s a coding loop somewhere that double loads the menu, the background image, and the pages.
Could you suggest a fix? It’s distracting as is.

I would like to create a sub-site (each subsite refer to a city) in /city1, /city2..etc
How can I enable multisite to display in each homepage of sub-site the posts refering to a city (maybe tagging posts by a category city1) ?
Do I have to reinstall the theme in a new folder ?
The main homepage have to display posts of every sub-sites is it ok with the theme ?
Finally, I have to change the logo of each subsites, is it possible with the theme ?

Hi Catalin – it does! I see how you’ve coded it using !important and adjusting margins.
If we wanted to reduce the left blank spaces left of the logo, would you recommend adjusting padding or margin in the CSS code?

I was thinking of having the full width newsmag logo top, the hack for full width footer with CSS, and perhaps putting the slider “above” the normal body container so that it would be full width like the menu bar.
Have not yet tried it. Just got tired of trying to fix the nutty bugs in that other theme, and want to switch for January 1.
NO panic or rush or anything, just was thinking the other day “duh, I could just move this thing to newsmag … !” 🙂

Hello,
Please check the header and footer sections of the theme panel. There is no other theme location where logos can be found. Please provide an example of what logo are you unable to change and we will help as best we can.

Header style 11 will use your full logo. In your case it’s http://www.thedowntowndweller.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/unbothered1-01.png If you want a smaller logo, simply re-size it in your preferred photo editor as the theme will use exactly the size you upload on the 3 full logo header styles: 9, 10 and 11

I love your Newspaper theme but cannot, despite my trying to find solutions on the forum or via the documentation, seem to find the right CSS code or setting in the Theme Panel to resize my logo on the desktop browser or mobile browser. Please help!
