Hello !

Unfortunately this layout cannot be achieved using Newspaper Theme. Also from what I can see your template will become not mobile friendly for google since all the elements are so close together and small.

Thank you !

Since I’ve implemented the mobile theme, Google started flagging all my pages for being not optimised for mobile. In fact, it sees all my pages broken somehow. Here is a link – https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?hl=uk&id=4hBCUTUrXniuYebSJVkkKA. You can also check this page in Google Console – https://funrumor.com/useful-tips/sweets-to-gift-your-mom-on-mothers-day/. This affects our SEO drastically. Please help fix it ASAP.

Hello, we noticed there is a strange issue with AMP version of websites.

After debugging a few we found this path: plugins/td-composer/mobile/header-amp.php
The thing is that the search bar echoes this snippet of code:

<amp-img src=”{{post_thumb_url}}”

And then replaces the {{post_thumb_url}} at runtime. Unfortunately this confuses search engine crawlers that interpretes this as an URL so we found a lot of 404 like this:

https://www.mywebsite.com/path/to/article/{{post_thumb_url}}
https://www.mywebsite.com/path/to/article/{{post_cat_link}}

We did a fast research on google and found that other people have the same issue:

https://itmedialaw.com/en/page/3/?s=%7B%7Bpost_url%7D%7D%2Fpage%2F4%2F%7B%7Bpost_cat_link%7D%7D%2Fpage%2F5%2F%7B%7Btd_query_all_results%7D%7D%2F%7B%7Bpost_cat_link%7D%7D&amp

https://mbaretimes.com/search/%7B%7Bpost_cat_link%7D%7D/

https://universityobserver.ie/search/people/page/169/%7B%7Bpost_cat_link%7D%7D/%7B%7Bpost_url%7D%7D/%7B%7Bpost_cat_link%7D%7D

So, this is unlikely because of two factors:
1) CPU overload with huge amount of 404 (3-4 for each blog post, that is dramatic for a newspaper)
2) Waste of crawling budget for search engine => less SEO friendly website.

Please, can you investigate this bug and provide to fix in next Theme releases?
Thank you,

Silvio (Akaueb Srls)

Hi,

How do you get the following page to view in mobile friendly PROSTEP

similar to other pages like the mobile version seen here: OpenPDM ?

“mobile theme” is checked in theme panel on this page PROSTEP as well as the box ‘enable mobile theme’ is checked in the edit page function.

Suggestions?

Hi,

The above documentation was to increase your page speed on your website is possible to take to long until the css is loading and that is way it’s say is not mobile friendly also it can be a plugin conflict.
Also here is one of our live demo that have the mobile theme plugin -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/ and this is mobile friendly -> https://i.imgur.com/uOMZXJk.png -> https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?utm_source=gws&utm_medium=onebox&utm_campaign=suit&id=AfR8pAiIUesXegRjru3UnA

Thank you!

Hi,

If you are referring to page speed, the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.
Also you can check this similar topic for more solutions: -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/optimize-script-to-improve-site-speed/ -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/

After you optimize the website check again the mobile friendly.

Let me know the results!
Thank you!

I’m reporting a this issue regarding mobile theme and smartlist:

if you check the attached video, on mobile the navigation for user is annoying if you use smart list. In fact on every “next one” tab clicking, the post load again at the top of the page, making the readers uncomfortable with smartlist on mobile theme. Hopefully you can improve that ASAP.

If your clue is to make the mobile theme more userfriendly, please pick up this issue for a “to do” list in the next version of the theme.

Hi Cain,
thank for your suggestion for changing the height=”700″
However, as good as it looks like in my Desktop machine,
seeing the result on the MOBILE version of this iFrame
still looks AWFUL 🙁
so it is NOT Mobile Friendly also because it doesn’t FIT to any responsive device…

So please help me with this CODE in order to get it right and Mobile-friendly as well (responsive)
Thank you!

Hey Vlad,
thanks for the tip, but unfortunately I CANNOT ADD the “Column TEXT” element
because in the ADD green button options, it only appears the 2 options with the search keyword “Column”:
* “Column title”
* “Column content”

Am I missing something?

Plus, is this code correct in order to show in all devices? (mobile friendly & responsive site):
<div class=”td-all-devices”><iframe src=”https://public.flourish.studio/visualisation/1473891/embed?auto=1″ width=”1000″ height=”1000″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no”></iframe></div>

Thank you!

Hi,

Is look that now the mobile version is friendly -> https://i.imgur.com/K9KRAk7.png -> https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?utm_source=gws&utm_medium=onebox&utm_campaign=suit&id=jj2uPQ1YYVXG8KTV4jqHeg and when you are using the mobile theme plugin the website is no longer friendly ?
Please try again and deactivate all non theme plugins. Also for cache plugins, we recommend to use WP Super Cache -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Let me know the results!
Thank you!
