- TutorialsWhat is Ajax preloading?
Hello,
We have this implemented but we forgot to put it in the Theme panel. We will add it in the next update.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
We will add this option in Theme panel to enable/disable swipe menu. This is implemented but is not added to the panel 😐
Thanks for reporting this!
Just to recap for anybody reading this thread: Revolution slider is a slider from ThemePunch (look it up on the web– it’s a popular commercial product: http://www.themepunch.com/codecanyon/revolution_wp/ ); it’s one of the various “slider apps” (featured “slide show” that “slides” – like a PowerPoint app, or a “featured stuff” element) included with the theme. Some people like one slider, other folks like a different one. Some allow only images, some allow CSS blocks (text+images). Some people like to have latest stories “slide” although many find that annoying and prefer static elements.
I believe the 2x “demo” uses static featured images on home page (don’t know which “block” off top of my head). I don’t think any of the theme demo pages use the sliders. I’m sure Radu included them as a selling point, but also for those moving from another site to use the sliders, which some people love, some people hate. Most news sites don’t use them anymore (think CNN, NY Times, LA Times, Daily Mirror, etc.). It’s more commonly used on business/ecommerce now and *not* for news/magazine portals, as it often has a bad UX (user experience) on mobile for “above the fold” content. So, great for GoDaddy home page, bad for a newspaper.
As far as I know it’s (Revolution slider) only used by theme to build a slider for home page or custom page, if so desired. If you’re not using it already, then no need to use it unless you want to. Sliders are NOT used to build menu items. But the demo page shows what it’s good for (link above), for those who’ve never looked at that.
MANY theme developers use this slider, or the bootstrap slider, and/or woo slider and include them with commercial product (e.g., “Newspaper” theme).
Sorry to ramble on there … hope that made sense.
UPSHOT: no “slider” used with theme would normally have anything to do with menus, navigation, or the like.
The “slide out” menu used by theme is simple CSS/dhtml/less stuff, and doesn’t need a plugin to do that.

it certainly is!
It’s strange. On a previous install my menu went boom when i deactivated the slider so i assumed it had something to do with the mobile menu.
So I’ll have to ask, What exactly is it doing? Is it used on the demo site at all?
Where are the settings for this?
Mobile swipe menu – open the menu with a swipe to the right on mobiles
It’s not activated for my website.
Tested with:
Samsung galaxy s3
Samsung galaxy Note 2
soni experia
I tested it on your site and reproduced it Saijo.
Unfortunately, I think the “Slide Out Menu” option is disabled on the demo site, as I can’t get it to work.
Granted, I’m using an iPhone, so it’s easy to mix up the “Menu swipe” with the “Go Back One Page” swipe, but I tried multiple times on the demo site and can’t get the menu to slide out…
Slide on mobile ( tested on Android ) slides out the menu but then the user has to scroll all the way to the top … :(, clicking on the menu icon works properly and slides out the menu and auto scrolls tot he top.
can we get the same effect for the slide action ?
but the revolution slider is connected to the menu right? Atleast the mobile one?
Same here … No head menu … No search .. On mobile view
And no login on desktop
Wonderful update! Just checking it out!
So far I have found two issues… The Head menu is no longer “Sticky” and it stopped working on mobile phones
It’s in themeforest’s queue 🙂

Hello,
You can make this from CSS. There are 2 logos, one in menu, and one above the menu that is with display:none(hidden)
Hidde the logo from menu and display the logo above the menu(with display:block)
For ad, go to Theme option -> Google adsense and add on phones.
To do the CSS for the logo inspect your site using Firefox or Chrome inspector.

Thanks!
Could anyone please tell me why after the most recent update I seem to have lost my icons for the menu and search when viewing the mobile site?

Hello Marius,
1) Same problem on your live demo! I don’t see, the mobile version of theme, but I see the site as on my screenshot.
No, I didn’t try to see the site from other smartphone, I can try with my friends.
2) Regard to change the color of links on topmenu, can you suggest me how do?
Thanks!
Hello Chris,
yes, the option is set on:
Full responsive (1170px)
But strange, I don’t see the mobile version of my site from my smartphone.
Hello,
please, I have two requests:
1) How can I change easily the color of a link on the topmenu?
I would like make the link “Forum”, of a red color.
2) Why I don’t see the mobile version from my smartphone? I have a Nokia Lumia 920.

Hi there,
I’ve styled the Header and the Footer of the theme so that they could have a dark background color, but now I’ve been having some issues.
I’d really appreciate if tagdiv support team could help me to improve these few details so that I can finally achieve the look I want for my site.
Regarding the header I’d need it to display a white version of my logo when it becomes responsive and I’ll try to explain it objectively.
I mean, I’ve kept the following classes the same as default (.td-full-layout .td-header-bg) with the background color set to white, and this results on displaying a color version of my logo while I’m on the desktop version of the site, that’s ok for me, because this is what I want. However, when the site goes responsive it displays the color version of my logo too, but I’d like it to display a white version of my logo instead, this way it would fit perfectly over these classes (.td-full-layout .td-menu-background) which are the ones that styles the background color of the menu navigation, and as long as I’ve applied a green background color to it, my logo looks weird when navigation on mobile version of the site.
To complete the overall look of my site I’d like to have all texts in the footer to be changed to a white color.
Thanks in advance for your attention.

Hello,
I have some problems with mobile version. The icon for menu don’t show this. You can test in http://vivirenelmundo.com
thanks.
Yesterday, we bought and installed Newspaper on our website and we overall very happy – you really did a nice job here 🙂
We do have to feedbacks from users, though:
1. When on iPhone / iOS7 / Nexus 7 / Galaxy Note 3, the menu button on top of screen doesn’t do anything.
2. Also, on same devices, the search button also doesn’t do anything
Are these just local problems with our installation or general bugs? 🙂
