Hello!

I’m glad that I could help you.
As I said above The Mobile Theme is a performance well optimized, but I’m sure you can optimize your website too with the both of the mobile version presented above.

However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
For the page speed, I can recommend you some solutions in order to increase the score.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

Hello Bettina,

Thank you for your screenshot. It was so simple, and easy. I don’t know why I couldn’t do before.

I was looking for so many options, composer, page builder, other advanced settings for how to convert or create the mobile theme page.

but I did a copy and paste the page content to the Mobile editor (in the same page as per your screenshot) and it came perfectly.

Phew! I was struggling to set up past 1 year, but it jus like that change.

Finally, I have done all my pending work 🙂 .

Thank you once again.

In addition, there is another important problem: Now we have detected that the plugin tagDiv Mobile Theme is making the site crash everytime a mobile visitor request a page, even so we have the AMP plugin disabled. This is the debugging info we get when the sites crashes:

Warning: require_once(/var/www/html/wp-content/themes/themes/Newspaper/tagdiv-deploy-mode.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php on line 11

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/var/www/html/wp-content/themes/themes/Newspaper/tagdiv-deploy-mode.php' (include_path='.:') in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php on line 11

Disabling tagDiv Mobile Theme has stopped the error for now.

Hello, I have finally successfully set up AMP version of web. The speed indicated by PageSpeed Insights has significantly improved. Anyhow, there is one issue still indicated on home page and it is “Properly size images”. It seems that all featured image thumbs are not served in proper size. I have checked the theme configuration and I have selected generation of thumbs for both mobile modules. I have also regenerated all thumbnails. Can you give me some advice, how to serve to AMP pages proper size of featured thumbs?

Does displaying “latest articles” on mobile themes help s.e.o.?

If it’s good to reveal the latest articles,

Do you think it’s better to show more up-to-date article posts? Is it better to have a small number of posts?

Also, the following error messages are also displayed when we set “USE MOBILE THEME FOR: Mobile” with the AMP plugin active:

Hi,
Recently we have detected a huge increase of 5XX errors in our Google Search Console. The errors are all caused by ?amp pages. Until the 23rd of November everything worked fine. We use the AMP plugin in a wordpress multisite network, working in transitional mode with Newspaper.
Is this any known issue?
We tried a lot of different setups and reinstalling the AMP plugin, but nothing solves the issue. PHP debugging shows the following info:

Warning: require_once(/var/www/html/wp-content/themes/themes/Newspaper/tagdiv-deploy-mode.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php on line 11

There has been a critical error on this website.

Thanks

Hello Giri!

If you use Mobile theme plugin, then you can not edit the pages with TagDiv Composer.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme. Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.
So, you should add the content in the Mobile Editor, a special field only for the Mobile Theme plugin as in this screenshot per documentation: https://www.screencast.com/t/PqBz1IrupWxM

Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

I hope it is more understandable now!

Thank you!

Hello Team,

I saw your details and explanations in the forum but couldn’t understand.

Can you Pls help me to fix the issue?

The mobile theme does not render any shortcodes made with page builders, so you will have to recreate your page in the Mobile Editor at the bottom of your page editor : https://www.screencast.com/t/tvLnK0Ae

You can find out more about the Mobile Theme options here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

If I want to show the pages in the mobile theme as well, what I have to do. If possible with screenshot.

Thank You

Hi,
For this you’ll need to use a redirect plugin or to change the code in the theme files, the path is -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/parts/register.php
Also you can try the steps from this guide -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-redirect-users-after-successful-login-in-wordpress/
I hope this will help!

Hello. I have a question that concerns me for a week now for my site texnologia, since i bought your wordpress theme and i started designing it. I see in your videos special emphasis is placed on creating a site mobile theme, but why do this since your theme is mobile friendly?

If there are really benefits i will do it immediately, otherwise i think there is no reason to go into this process because it is obviously a time consuming process and it will take me days

Hello @manjeet036 !

You should enter a name, then create the page: https://prnt.sc/20vn4ju
In order to avoid misunderstandings, please provide more information about what you need to achieve (where is the evening?), screenshots or a video.

A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.

If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin. Better uninstall the Mobile theme and see the changes.

Hello!

This section from the theme panel is for the Mobile Theme plugin.
I can see that you change the ad banner and they are appearing to your mobile version which is a responsive one. So, every ad you’ll add in the theme panel for desktop version it will apply on your mobile version.

Thank you!

Hello!

You can not resize that banner ad. If you have the Mobile theme plugin installed and active, then you can display ads, you should add the ads in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> Mobile ads in order to display on that mobile layout.
If you have AMP too, then you have an option for the AMP ads also.

Thank you!

Hi,

My website https://www.rockzonemag.com/ has been looking disjointed for the last days. A picture that’s used as background on the Search Menu on the mobile version now appears on one side on the desktop version. Also the fonts on the tag look bigger… Quite a mess.

I got the message below, but I don’t know what I have to do. So it would be great if I could get a step by step on how to solve it. Thanks a lot.
