Hello,
What I mean is that you have the mobile theme plugin activate and that in vain you made a 404 page for mobile, because the template from the mobile theme plugin applies.
In mobile responsive version, it should look like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/XqvwW5w3rq 404 page, but it looks like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/Roy7exJL8t
You can find more information about 404 in this article => https://tagdiv.com/introducing-new-404-page-templates/
Thank you!
Hello !
Unfortunately at the moment Newspaper Theme does not have Android support in order to create app. That can be done on any website by using the browser option, take a look here: https://www.aumnia.com/blog/google-improves-webapp-support-latest-mobile-chrome-release
Thank you !
http://www.parivartankiawaj.com is my site’s URL. The mobile page of my site is not showing as it should in the newspaper theme.
Hi,
I’m using the Black version Pro theme and cannot change the logo in the header in AMP mobile. The logo is still the original text “Black” with the “version PRO” tagline. How do I change the mobile AMP header logo from to match the desktop version?
Thanks!
Hello,
For errors, please sure your WordPress(5.7) and plugins are up to date.
It looks that your images and thumbs are not optimized, for example, you can use EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, also, you can try other plugins like Autoptimize. => https://www.screencast.com/t/1qWLnnA7G Your website needs an optimal speed that’s why you need to make some settings also to help for the improvement.
By the way, we have such a great result with this new update and with our new tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
– https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
We are building a long term collaboration with our customers. You can see on our demos what page loading speed score can a website loaded with content can have. However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile-optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
Thank you!
Hello!
You can not modify the AMP version only with custom code added in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme -> Custom code. But, I recommend you to check if this problem is not from a plugin conflict or something that can interfere on your website because we tested the AMP version and we didn’t find this kind of issue.
Thank you!
Hello,
This problem can be, because you have the mobile theme plugin activate, and as you know Mobile theme plugin has the own templates design.
Also, you can’t disable the mobile theme on templates.
You can disable it only on pages and posts.
Thank you!
Hello!
AMP use the functions from Mobile Theme: wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/amp/functions.php, also check here: \wp-content\plugins\td-composer\mobile\functions.php
But, please note that any change you make in the files after update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again. Better save the code somewhere and then apply it again after update.
Hope that helps you somehow!
Thank you!
Hello!
All the time we update our documentation, so you can take a look through our documentation as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ or take a quick look on our video tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/user/tagdiv
Sometimes, you can find some more explanation in our articles, for example this one: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Thank you!
Hello,
For reviews, I saw you have the mobile theme plugin activate, and for desktop, you need to add the option with tagDiv Composer in Single post template => https://www.screencast.com/t/LQ1iW5o7qOgM
For error, please try with an SSL plugin for HTTPS.
Also, if the problem persists, please make a full backup to all files and the database and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com . Provide
– admin URL and credentials
– cPanel URL and credentials
– A link to this topic in order to identify you
Thank you!
Hello,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Also, this situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have does not feature options for a separate mobile theme plugin.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello !
That folder has nothing to do with your issue. You cannot have both options enabled. You cannot use Mobile Theme plugin and Cloud library template in the same time.
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
You are now able to create mobile viewport templates as you can see in our guide here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
! Atention ! If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.
More information can be found in here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY&t=5s

Hi,
Social Media share Icon is not seeing in mobile. I am using the tagDiv mobile theme plugin. I have enabled the social media sharing icon for mobile devices from the theme panel, yet social media sharing buttons are not seeing on the mobile devices. Yes, but social media icons are visible in the desktop version.
Hi,
Unfortunately, on Newsmag theme you can not change the logo dimension for mobile, this can be change only for desktop using one of those styles -> https://i.imgur.com/QoWJ4NG.png and the logo will be set on full size.
Thank you!
I am watching videos of your documentation tutorials but the videos do not match the Theme !
Is it the category or cloud templates, the sidebar or single-post page… Almost every video is out of date and does not match the Theme panel settings…
I am not able to find current informations about how to use the mobile theme and amp correct. Nothing works…
So sad to see such a good theme with such bad documentation. And in the forums i need to wait days for an answer because so many people can not handle the documentation 🙁
I really do not want to leave a bad review so kindly update your documentation as soon as possible!
thanks
Hi Anamaria – thanks for this. That’s what I thought.
Is there any way to control whether certain pages do not load the mobile theme but show the responsive version on the classic editor? We don’t use Gutenberg.
Hello! It’s me again 🙂
I read the theme documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-theme-colors-introduction/
And it says you can change:
Header section – This area allows you to set or change colors for the Top Menu (Background, Top menu text, Top menu text hover, Social icons, Social icons hover color), Main Menu (Menu background, Active and hover, Menu text color), Mobile Menu / Mobile Search (menu bar background color, menu bar icons color, background gradient color, text/icons color, active/hover text color, buttons background/text color) and Header (background color).
But in my theme, I cannot find this option
https://teamusings.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Main-Menu-Colors-Question.png
I’m having issues using Classic Blog Pro where the mobile version is showing both the Classic Blog Pro responsive mobile design and Mobile Theme at various times. I’ve tried clearing my cache plug-in along with asking my host to clear their CDN cache, but both versions are still showing up.
I notice a “td_cache” subfolder under my “public_html” > “wp-content” folder. Could this have anything to do with it? Is it needed or can I remove this? It looks like it contains an index.html file and a css folder with another indiex.html file inside it.
I want to use Classic Pro Desktop with Mobile Theme for mobile view.
Hello !
You can create a topbar if you are using Mobile Templates insead of Mobile theme plugin. That can be done using tagDiv Composer. Take a look at our Mobile template video guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY&t=3s
I hope this was helpful !
Thank you !
HI there,
We are using the newspaper theme (Version: 10.4) with tagdiv mobile, composer, standard pack and official AMP plugins.
We are using mobile + AMP theme in Transitional mode
We would like to customize the template for posts, currently the AMP pages uses the template /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php
Based on documentation of AMP plugin I added the newspaper-child theme and created a folder called amp in the child theme root and copied the single.php file to this folder renamed it to blog.php and created another copy and renamed to home.php, then added the following filter in the child theme functions.php:
add_filter( 'amp_post_template_file', function ( $template, $template_type, $post ) {
if ( 'page' === $template_type && 'page' === get_option( 'show_on_front' ) ) {
if ( (int) get_option( 'page_on_front' ) === $post->ID ) {
$template = dirname( __FILE__ ) . '/amp/home.php';
} elseif ( (int) get_option( 'page_for_posts' ) === $post->ID ) {
$template = dirname( __FILE__ ) . '/amp/blog.php';
}
}
return $template;
}, 10, 3 );
However the amp pages still called the posts template single.php from the td-composer plugin!!
I also tried adding the following filter in child theme functions.php:
add_filter( 'amp_post_template_file', function ( $file, $type ) {
if ( 'single' === $type ) {
$file = dirname( __FILE__ ) . '/amp/blog.php';
}
return $file;
}, 10, 3 );
This also doesn’t work.
Please let me know how do I create a custom template for posts only AMP pages without modifying the single.php in the td-composer plugin because when the plugin is updated, my customization will be lost.
Thanks!
Hello,
The mobile theme plugin is created for the mobile version. You can use it even if you have a pro prebuilt website. As you probably know Mobile Theme has the own templates design, and can’t be edited with tagDiv Composer.
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!
Hello !
Please send us a link to your website in order to take a look. But please note that a drop of speed is expected since using more elements than the mobile theme usually offers.
Thank you !
Hello !
If you are using the Mobile Theme plugin you will need to put your pages content into the Mobile editor as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/juffiWtu4qU
Please note that the Mobile editor does not reproduce shortcodes.
Thank you !
Hello,
I saw you have a different class of someone icons for the menu, and you need to add that class in the custom code CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/MY7SPaJIc
.tdb_header_menu .fal {
margin-right: 20px;
}
And for the menu, you can use this custom code CSS and look like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/IiGMhALvHs
.tdb_header_menu .tdb-menu > li div {
font-size: 11px;
}
.tdb_header_menu .tdb-menu > li{
width: 50%;
}
.tdb_header_menu .tdb-menu > li > a {
display: block!important;
}
.tdb_header_menu .tdb-menu > li:nth-child(2n) {
float:right;
}
This code for the menu on mobile need to be set in Theme panel -> Custom code – > Advances CSS -> Phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/h3G040BAIuK
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
I recently switch from Classic Blog to Classic Blog Pro and wondering if I can deactivate the Mobile theme (or if I should)?
