Is it possible to turn of mobile theme, and adjust homepage for mobile display from tagDiv builder? So that desktop and mobile view should become different without using mobile theme plugin?

Hello !

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC

I am using media.net code and no matter where i put the ads in the theme panel. On mobile they all stack up above the website header.. i tried using <div class=”td-all-devices”> and without this but nothing working.

My site http://www.zippikids.com
sample Article page – https://www.zippikids.com/visual-discrimination-brain-teaser-worksheets/

No ads showing on desktop even thought i have not disabled them for desktop anywhere except for header.

Hello !

1. Follow our video guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo

2. You will have to remove that using tagDiv Composer ( all the pro demos and cloud library templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer) : https://www.screencast.com/t/l2L0bxfOx Simply right click and delete.

I have already added that code on the header and added ads script using ad inserter plugin.

But, still, ads are not showing on the mobile view. Could you verify if that heading is loading on https://www.noobietech.com for mobile theme?

I’m using Poppins Font, and when I change the font size from My Theme Panel, It only works/changes on Desktop, and not on Mobile, I’m not using Mobile Plugin. Just the normal responsive Mobile Page.

How do I change it

HI..

Newspaper is really good at mobile theme with Its loading speed., i’m very satisfied for this. however at the dekstop version, i got a lower performance.

For the moment, i use Wp Rocket..i saw many topics in the forum that wp super cache is a good solution for newspaper..

My question is : ” How with the wp fastest cache. Is it good like wp super cache..?? “

Is it possible to repeat an ad after n paragraph on a post in newspaper theme?

Also, for the mobile theme, where can I place this line

<script async custom-element="amp-ad" src="https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-ad-0.1.js"></script>

to insert code in <head> </head> tags for Mobile+AMP

I have tried by pasting it on analytics/js code but I am not sure if it is working for amp, because the ads are not showing on mobile and amp pages.

Hello!
I have a Newspaper theme. For the mobile, I use Flex Block 1 to display the latest posts and once I click to the load more button it displays 3 more posts that already displayed. I’ve tried to deactivate all the plugins and removed all my custom code but it didn’t help.

Could you please let me know where could be a problem?

Hi,
Is it possible to change the category tag colour in mobile theme? Now as default, it is black colour.
I would like to change it another colour.

Hello !

You are using the mobile theme and right now your mobile theme is being displayed even on desktop. This happens due to cache. Please follow our guide and make sure that WP Super Cache has been installed properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Let us know the result.

Thank you !

Hi,

I cannot find the possibility to change color of address bar in mobile chrome browser which is usually done by

<meta name=”theme-color” content=”222”>

I used to do it by modifying header.php or header-amp.php, but it doesn’t work as before.

I use amp version for mobile, and I know it’s possible, because I’ve already done it in the past.

Thank you for your quick answer

Thank You 🙂

Hello !

Please note that this is not an option from Newspaper Theme and implementing it will require custom work and coding skills to do it which is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/

For more help you can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/web-development-services/

Or you can try it yourself. The mobile theme folder is located here: wp-content\plugins\td-mobile-plugin

Without using the tagdiv mobile plugin (this entirely changes the mobile theme, which I don’t want) how can I edit the header on the mobile version of the website?
I have uploaded a mobile logo on the theme panel, but it doesn’t actually show up on mobile. Where the logo should be, it says “PULSES PRO” in big letters. How can I fix this?

Hello !

This is how your category looks right now on mobile: https://www.screencast.com/t/kreIigLWXY You can edit this by going into Theme Panel – Mobile theme and editing the options available there ( Theme colors / Theme fonts, etc )
