Hi! In the mobile theme not all categories appear. For example, in the “cinema” section, only three categories are available. The other categories are not visible. Is it possible to make visible all the categories also with the mobile theme? Thank you.

The image is not opening on the home page, the menu where there are 9 dots is not working for the last 10 days. In today’s time, getting traffic has become more difficult than before. Now this theme also does not do any work properly. To be honest, ever since I purchased the theme, some issue or the other keeps on occurring. It seems that I made a mistake by purchasing this theme.

Hi,

From what I see the post is displayed on mobile, with the mobile theme active https://prnt.sc/uple4KAqulHT There are however quite a few ads at the top of the post, and it requires scrolling down a bit to get to the post https://prnt.sc/vU6b2eN8BzB9 Other than that the post looks fine. Maybe you solved the problem already.

But in case I am misunderstanding, please let me know and I will check again.

Thank you!

Hello!

We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Thank you!

You can edit the menus items from Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus. From the tagdiv Composer, you can choose from that dropdown the menu name you want to display.

Hello,

I am currently working on customizing my theme, but I’m encountering an issue with how my website appears on mobile devices. The colors and overall appearance differ from what I see on the desktop version, and I’m unable to locate where to adjust this mobile view. Additionally, I’m having trouble modifying the mobile menu.

Could you please advise me on how to resolve these issues? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello,

Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Better deactivate the mobile theme plugin and see the results, and assign the mobile page for page, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/lektAhyjd
Also, clear your cache.

Thank you!

I have a website that uses the Newspaper theme. I was using the mobile option for the mobile theme, not the AMP option. Now with the new update the theme by default is using the AMP option and I don’t know how to change it. My page are not opening on the mobile browser. What do I do. Also my live search is working fine but my search page doesn’t show any results.

Your prompt help is needed. Our traffic is being affected by this issue.

Hello,

You can disable the back to the top from Theme Panel -> Template Settings -> ToTop button => https://www.screencast.com/t/JVYklvqk (if you have the mobile page or mobile resposive)
Also, for the mobile theme plugin, you can only hide using a Custom Code CSS
.td-scroll-up
{
display: none;
}

Set the code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom code.

Thank you!

Hi, after today’s update of the Newspaper Theme,
1) The CSS of the website is breaking and then loading. On Desktop

https://prnt.sc/Tj-3ewSkbxks

2) On Mobile it shows a big logo of ours then loads.
3) Also on mobile, if you scroll down, there is a lot of white or grey space shown, between the final article and bottom menu. Or right after the bottom menu.

Can you please help solve these.

Thanks a lot.

I AM NOT USING ANY CACHE PLUGIN BUT ONLY Cloudflare SERVICE FOR CACHING. HERE IS MY SITE:

https://www.hospitality-school.com/

My homepage version for mobile and desktop are different. But time to time I am seeing mobile version while visting from laptop or pc. What’s the solution? I have enabled mobile theme plugin but not amp.

This is my cloud template settings: https://tinyurl.com/24xcq6os

This is how I set my desktop version to be visible through cloud template: https://tinyurl.com/2cnehzgx

and the mobile version: https://tinyurl.com/2b73ohv7

But EVERY NOW AND THEN I AM SEEING THIS MOBILE VERSION IN DESKTOP. WHAT’S THE SOLUTION. WHY IT CANT PROPERLY DELIVER PROPER VERSION FOR PROPER DEVICES?

Hello,

Yes, please send some screenshots. Maybe you have an empty row in the mobile sticky menu, and you need to edit it with composer, not in the theme panel.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.

Thank you!

I’ve implemented the Single Post Reading Progress Bar on my website using the Tagdiv Newspaper theme. However, I’m encountering a jittery scrolling issue, especially in mobile, and desktop too. The progress bar increments in full percentages (e.g., 20%, 21%), causing a noticeable jump.
On another site with a different theme, the progress bar updates more smoothly, with fractional increments (e.g., 20%, 20.22%). This smoother transition significantly improves the user experience. If this issue could be addressed, it would enhance the usability of the Newspaper theme’s progress bar.

if it was updated we will be happy to use it on out site.

Hello team,

I am using parenting theme under the Newspaper theme v12.6.6, and I encounter a few issues with sticky header as below.

1. Under tagDiv composer, when I turn on the mobile menu sticky under manager, and then I click the header on my mobile view webpage, the box on the left hand side change from “mobile menu sticky” to “mobile menu”, so that I cannot edit the mobile menu sticky. I want to change the word “all about parenting” but there is no way I can edit it.

2. I notice there are a few social icons under the mobile menu, but I cannot find any way to edit the social icons.

Please assist, thank you!

Hi,

I’m currently using the Newspaper theme for my website, and I’ve encountered an issue with the “header live search” feature. The search function works perfectly on the mobile version of the site, but it’s not functioning correctly on the desktop version.

Problem Details:
– On the desktop version, the search bar is visible, but when trying to enter text, the input field doesn’t display the text at all.
– This issue doesn’t occur on the mobile version, where the search feature works as expected.

I’ve tried clearing the cache and disabling other plugins to see if there’s a conflict, but the problem persists.

Could you please assist with resolving this issue? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I don’t currently have the AMP plugin active but I do have the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin active. I don’t know if I should activate the amp plugin and in which cases I should do it.
On the other hand, I’m currently working with WP-Rocket but I see that you recommend another cache plugin like super cache, is it worth making the change?Setup
Thanks
