Hello
Having updated to the Gutenberg editor I am experiencing some challenges with the paddings between the pictures.
1. Using two picture blocks after each other give me a padding twice the size I had before the upgrade. I find the smaller padding nicer.
2. I use columns block (not the picture gallery block) when I have two portrait format pictures; as this shows the pictures next to each other on desktop and one under the other on mobile. But I get a huge padding between the two pictures on desktop and also bigger padding between the column block and the next picture block than usually.
Is this something which will be changed in next theme updates? Is it possible to create a “same padding as before Gutenberg” adjustment by CSS code?

I’m not using the mobile theme.
Hi,
If you are using mobile theme please check this documentation too -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hello I upgraded the template with the new version and the td.mobile theme doesn’t work anymore.. and I cannot find the plugin inside the theme folder. Can you please help me?
Thanks,
So, when I go up to my address bar and type in my website, GoingFor2.com, I brought to the mobile version of my site. Then, I click on an article, again, the mobile version of my site. Then, I use my mobile menu to go “home” or I use my sites logo at the top to go “home”, and I’m brought to the non-mobile version of my site. Why does it switch back? And how do I keep it from switching?
I put ads up in several of the theme’s ad boxes today, and accidentally also added Adsense code to the header box. I don’t want an ad up there, so I removed it. After saving all settings, ads are appearing at the top of the screen, under the banner. I removed ads from all of the boxes, even the ones I wanted them in, and saved again. Still, even with all boxes empty, all ads were still appearing after saving. I’m not using a cache plugin. The closest I have is Fast Velocity Minify. I disabled it, just in case, and still the ads loaded. I even used the buttons under the empty ad boxes to disable on desktop, tablet, phone, etc. Still, the ad shows.
What can I do to remove that ad at the top of my website? I’m pretty sure it’s against Adsense rules to have an ad appearing above the fold on mobile, as this one does.
Hi!

3. i wanna create post like this http://prntscr.com/m5jre4 , but without this buttons ,just text and picture ,do i need smart list or?
Thanks for the answers! 🙂
Hi,
I could give you a code to remove them, they will appear by default and there is no setting to remove them. Please enter this code in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS code section
.category .td-category-siblings {
display: none;
}
The result will be like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/kkQCcnp9uERh
Thanks
I have activated the mobile theme on my website but whenever I open any single category page on mobile, all the categories are labeled on the page, I want to deactivate these category labels, can you tell me How to do it because I do not see anything like this in my desktop version and I have checked all the settings in the theme panel even though I do not see any option to deactivate them. To know more check this link in both mobile and desktop

Hi,
You can try this fix
#td-mobile-nav {
position: fixed;
}
Paste the code in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
But also is possible to be others elements broken in RTL
Our theme was does not support RTL so simply changing the direction will not work properly. Lots of theme elements have to be adjusted for the thee to support RTL.
Thank you!

Hi,
That will be the case indeed. Navigating away from the AMP page served by Google will direct to the normal website. Either to the default responsive version of the website or the mobile theme if active.
So clicking on links to other posts in the related articles, next/prev post links, using the search function, trying to leave a comment, will direct the user away from the AMP post.
Not the whole website will be in AMP, only the post that Google displays in the search results page and the user will access.
Thanks
@Joe Jerde From what I can find, the performance on mobile may influence Google search results by the algorithms they introduced a while ago

– https://www.searchenginejournal.com/flawed-google-mobile-usability-test-results/127623/
If you don’t like the mobile theme plugin, then the default responsive version of the website will be loaded on mobile devices, meaning the exact same content.
You could activate the AMP plugin, AMP posts will have priority in Google search results

Hi,
How to correctly set up mobile plugin menu of newspaper for different languages.
I did install the plugin and created 2 mobile menus and assigned them to the correct place.
After that I wen to theme panel to mobile settings and from there I can only choose one menu as mobile menu.
If I choose only one it shows this language menu for all versions but if I dont choose anything at all the menus is blank.
Hi please when i display the website from mobile devices i have a grey page with menuwhen i hide it and i have fullscreen menu displayed , when i hide it i have recent articles but no home page .
this is the url : http://www.attahaddi.com

I’m having the same issue as well. 7 pages have been found with the error. And you are right, sometimes the test will bring back normal results and sometimes not. My robots.txt file is fine.
The question is, does Google penalize our sites because the errors are happening in the first place?
And I tried the mobile theme but do not like it. It feels unfinished. My site is already pretty simple so not worried about loading time.
Any solution to the mobile friendly errors?
Hi,
Please check our documentation for The Mobile Theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
The best thing to do would be to create and set a mobile logo in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fUrjUDlWp1
Try to use the recommended size, create a logo and set it for mobile. Once set it will appear in the menu bar like this – http://prntscr.com/m4ryhe
Please let us know if you have more questions or need help with something else.
Thanks
Hi,
The included mobile theme plugin is more optimized for mobiles, it will simplify the website and provide a noticeable improvement in terms of speed on mobile. .
Each page will require two versions. For desktop you can use the page builder, but when viewed on mobile and the mobile plugin is active, the page will be empty.
Page builder content is not displayed by the mobile plugin. Mobile pages have to be simple, created within the mobile editor. This will greatly increase mobile performance. The settings of the plugin are kept to a minimum as well, many elements are predefined.
This plugin is optional, when not active the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile as well (responsive version). So you can simply not use the mobile plugin.
The documentation for it is here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello,
I really enjoy using your theme.
Unfortunately, I have some problems with the mobile version. I can’t change anything, both in the mobile plugin and from basic settings. I can also only see the latest posts and not the three featured posts as it says in the theme description. I also see a very funny logo in the mobile version that is not even in my media files.
My website is nemackijeziknis.com
I’d be very grateful if you’d help me further.
Best regards
Miladin
Hi! I’ve purchased your theme and i find it great, everything works fine and is easy to set.
But i got a problem with the mobile header logo, it looks blurred. I tried to save it on different format and png was the best result, but far away from a clear image.
How can i fix this?
Here’s a screenshot via mobile: https://ibb.co/8gyVRc9
Hi,
Thanks for providing me with this information, it does help in understanding the process, but the images that I am referring to are not the “Featured” images. I should have given you more precise details.
I have multiple posts that operate as guides, where I have 10’s of images in the post content, or even 100+ images in the post content. In the past, if I needed to update one or all of the images, I would start by deleting the image in the Media Library, then adding the image from the post content. I would do this to ensure that all the other ( 10 ) alternative images are being created.
#1: I hope this makes more sense as to my problem, I am looking for a way to replace the images in the post content, without having to delete them from the post, just to ensure that the thumbnails are being recreated when I upload the updated image.
#2: After reading the answer, just to be clear about the need for the ( 10 )
alternative thumbnails, they serve the purpose of readjusting to the theme when it is resized or in a mobile format?
#3: For the Force Regenerate Thumbnails plugin, and I noticed that the plugin that I suggested, they also have a software that regenerates thumbnails, reGenerate Thumbnails Advanced, do these plugins work with the current procedure embedded in the Newspaper theme? If I use one of these plugins, I would like to not create duplicate images or thumbnails, apart from the procedure already used by the Newspaper theme.
I appreciate the help that have been given.

Hi,
You cannot use the page builder elements for the “Mobile theme” pages. If you want to display the same elements on both mobile and desktop, don’t use the mobile theme, the main theme is already capable of this with it’s responsive design for mobiles.
Please check our documentation for The Mobile Theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you.

Hi,
Use either Gutenberg or the classic editor, depending on your preference. Both should work alright with the theme. I found some topics in the matter
– https://www.a2hosting.com/blog/gutenberg-vs-classic-editor/
– https://www.dev4press.com/blog/notes/2018/gutenberg-or-classic-editor-why-not-both/
– https://kinsta.com/blog/gutenberg-wordpress-editor/
The mobile editor is where content has to be entered for each page, when the mobile plugin is active. So each page will require two versions.
You can experiment with and without the mobile plugin, and decide what is best. The plugin is optional, not activating it will display the same content from desktop on mobile
